Not a frying pan but a burning hell

It was a normal day in the conomi Island. Everyone was doing their own business, when some fishermen noticed a humungous ship coming towards the island. It was larger than any marine battle ship they have seen in the east blue. But what surprised them most was not the size of the ship but the flag flying on it. It was not a regular Marine flag. Anyone with a little knowledge about how the world works immediately recognised it as the flag of the world government itself.

If it would have been a Marine flag, then people might have sighed in relief. But the flag of the world government can be considered worst than the flag of a pirate crew.

When a pirate crew attacks an Island, then death and destruction is common. But at least they do not erase your existence.

But if by any chance something went wrong with the people of the world government, then there is a chance that there entire Island will be eradicated.

Even before the ship reached near the shore, the entire Island learnt about the incoming ship of the world government. Everyone in the Cocoyashi village went on high alert. They didn't have many human establishments in there Island except for Cocoyashi village. They have already paid their heavenly tribute this year. So they didn't know what have gone wrong that the ship of the world government is approaching their Island.

The ship didn't come all the way to the shore. Due to the depth of the sea being low, at first a few men wearing black and white suit came to the shore with small sailboats, while the big ship waited a little deep in the ocean.

After reaching the small dock meant for fishing boats, the suited men asked randomly.

"Who is the person in charge of the security in this place ?"

A man with a pinwheel cap and neat dress, stepped forward.

"That would be me, I am Genzo, the village sheriff."

The black suited man nodded silently. And then spoke up.

"One of the existing gods from the holy lands of Mariejoice, Saint Manmayer is currently on the ship of the world government. He will be visiting the farm and production line of the Tangerine syrup made in this Island.

So you will co-operate with us and make preparation for accommodating the world noble. We hope that we don't have to remind you the consequences of angering one of the world nobles."

Genzo gulped.

"I understood."

"Why don't you understand Belli ! We have to leave ! Otherwise all of us will be killed or worse enslaved !"

'Fuck ! If belli doesn't listen to me now, then I will have to knock her out and kidnap her out of here. This is worse ! They were talking about the celestial dragon coming to the island because of our tangerine syrup !

Fuck ! This is all my fault !

From frying pan directly to burning hell !'

Nami was so spooked when she heard in the world celestial dragon that she didn't bother to hide anything from Belli.

"Nami ! Calm down and listen to me..." Bellemere tried to calm her daughter down.

But Nami, who knew about true horrors of the celestial dragons, didn't bother to argue and tried to take actions directly.

But due to her not wanting to hurt her mother, her stance faltered a bit and Bellemere dodged her attack.

"Nami ! If we run away, then this entire village might get destroyed !" Nami's eyes widened in horror when she realised that Belli also understood the true nature of the celestial dragons. She was actually ready to risk her life in order to save the rest of the village.

"Take your sister and run away to the other side of the island. I will stay for the inspection !" It was not a request. But an order. Nami was obviously hesitant. Tears and snot ran down from her face as she didn't want Belli to risk her life for the rest of the villagers.

Call her selfish and coward, it didn't matter. Nami didn't want to lose Belli instead of the rest of the villagers.

"Nami... believe in me. Everything will be alright. Now, take your sister and run away to the other side." Bellemere said firmly.

Nami didn't stop crying. She simply took her bag and then dragged Nojiko while crying. Nojiko didn't understand why Nami was crying so much. She understood that this celestial dragon must be very powerful and dangerous. But apart from that, she did understand anything else.

'This is all my fault ! This is all my fault !

This is all my fault ! This is all my fault !' Nami chanted continuously while running away with Nojiko.

For Nami, the future was very bleak. Celestial dragons are the most dangerous existence in the world for common people like them. They were unreasonable time bombs, who can release an admiral from there ass upon getting a paper cut. Then that admiral will kill everyone who has involved in creating that paper including their families.

But that's not all they are monsters who will enslave people in order to perform acts which will put demons of hell to shame. They are monsters who hijack entire Islands and then hunt down it's inhabitants like animals for fun. What good can anyone expect when one of these monsters visit your island.

That's why Nami was asking Bellemere to run away. According to what she saw with a telescope from their rooftop, they were making a pedestal in order to welcome the celestial dragon. And the way the work was going on, it will take roughly an hour to finish.

That much time is enough for them to escape.

But now, she was running away with Nojiko....

It was very frustrating for her. But the safety of Nojiko was also very important.

Nami knew that, it was not an opponent her early planning can defeat. Even someone like Garp will fail to save them in this situation.

This powerlessness made her resolve stronger to become a pirate.....to join the Monkey D. Luffy of this world.
