When Cara entered she looked so messy, she seemed hurt and from quick judgement, she was angry at me. Yes of course I know anyone would be mad at me...what I tried to do was being inhuman.

   Thanks to her, my face was slapped twice! I decided to kiss her to make us both even though I knew that she would be shocked. I decided to kiss her soft lips that tasted like strawberry, I kissed her slowly and she tasted so fucking good. How can a lady taste good like that?At first, she didn't kiss back.

    I allowed my tongue to explore her insides and she then kissed back. I held her waist steadily and kissed her fiercely until she let go of the gun that she was holding and it dropped down on the floor. She allowed her right hand to hold tightly my shirt and, in a haste I grabbed her injured shoulder. She broke free from me and screamed

" Ouch! Can you please learn where to touch and where not to do so?" I guess she spoke that because of pain. Finally, realization hit her and she was like

    " Did we just---" she covered her mouth using the right hand and I replied

    " Yes we kissed! And it was so sweet." She looked at me and spoke

     " You took advantage of me!"

I rolled my eyes, folded my hands then replied

     " C'mon Cara! Which state are you in that I can get the opportunity to take advantage of you?"

I paused then continued

"You were lamenting about kissing a person that you don't like and I kissed a woman that I don't like.... we're both equal! That's it" I looked at her but she suddenly looked away, her eyes were blinking uncontrollably. She spoke quickly

    " Don't look at me" I smiled and spoke in return

     " Follow me" she followed me behind. I walked to the other side of the room where my office was located. There was a working desk and a chair. On top of the table,there were many files piled up, pens and pencils were scattered and staples. There was a coffee mug and her photo again. I looked at her warm smile and the bright skin that she had. I missed her so bad. I could still hear her voice echoing in my ears.

' Baby you need to rest! You have worked so hard today'  I stood still while seeing her in my imaginary world... I wish I could see her again, just one last chance!  I was startled when Cara spoke

   " Your girlfriend or something?" She was holding the photo, I was like

   " Follow me"

She put the photo down on the table and spoke

   " Where are you taking me? "

   " Can you just shut up Cara?"

Behind my working desk, there was a huge paint hanged on the wall. I took off the paint and there was a small touch screen. I put my palm there and my finger prints were recognized. The wall before us was the secret door, the door opened. I took Cara with me to the underground chamber, we took an elevator downwards. Reaching there, I looked at Cara who was still amazed. I was like

   " It's an underground chamber. I usually treat myself here, make plans, torture people, I store all of my weapons here and...I stay here if I want to be away from everyone."

I looked at the huge space in front of me.  There was a chair and a table, small buckets which were displaced and towels thrown on the floor. There was also a bed with a table beside it. The table had many syringes and scalpels, razors and scissors. I looked at Cara and told her

   " Go and seat on the bed. We need to get your arm treated"

She obeyed me and sat there. I took my first aid box and while I was coming back to her, I spoke to her

" You need to remove the cardigan" I Saw her trying to take it off but she ended up feeling the pain and screamed

"Ouch...it hurts" I put the first aid kit on the table and sat beside her. I tried to help her take it off and I succeeded. She had worn a white tank top inside and I could see her glowing skin more clearly. She was embarrassed and looked at the other side. Her chest rising and falling as she kept breathing. She cleared her throat to startle me and I finally remembered that I needed to treat her arm. I looked at her arm and realized that, the bullet was fired just through her flesh and not the bone.

   I asked her  " did you try to avoid the bullet or what?"

  " Noo... I didn't get the chance to do so, it was so sudden though I expected it."

    " That's odd! Why didn't he cause more damage? He only aimed at your flesh and not bones" I looked at her arm once again and I wore gloves. I took a Big piece of cotton wool and cleaned the blood around her wound. I was able to touch her soft skin that made me to feel chills... I never knew why she had some power over me ever since I met her.

I removed the bullet and dressed her wound carefully, after finishing I spoke

  " Am done! We will come here again tomorrow... We need to dress it again."

   " Fine... thank you Xavier" she said and gave a smile. That radiant smile made me to get lost in my world, for some seconds I kept staring at her and she was like

    " Uum, Mr Xavier... Why don't you show me around?"

     I replied while packing up the stuff,

" It's too early to do that." The moment I finished packing everything, she was already exploring the area. I was like

  " Cara, we need to go" I took her back to the house. I noted one thing from her, she was trying to avoid me after the kiss, she seemed uncomfortable around me. When we got back to the house, I talked to her

" You can keep the money for yourself."

  " I have the drugs too" she spoke and I smiled then replied

   " Interesting! You seem better than what I expected... okay! Bring me the drugs." She was almost replying and that's when Becca and Bella entered my room. It was so embarrassing but I just needed to take care of it. I was like

  " Wow! You guys are back already!" They ran to me and gave me the biggest hug in the world. I spoke after hugging them

" Did you guys enjoy?"

   " Yes uncle! We had a great time, we ate ice creams, pizzas and took a lot of pictures" Becca replied. I asked Bella

   " What about you?" She was like

   " Why is aunty Cara inside your room!? "

I blinked several times and ended up looking at the other side. I gathered my courage and replied

   " Well... guys, aunty Cara is your new nanny. She is inside my room because I wanted to give her some instructions". Finally Cara spoke to the kids

" So from now onwards, we won't buy flowers. We will be planting them."

         The kids smiled and hugged her. That moment of their happiness reminded me a lot. I missed her so much!! She always made me happy, coloured my days and gave me the love that I was craving for. Maybe she was never meant to be with me, Her death has left a scar on my heart and whatever I did made me miss her. I missed the way she was... How she smelled, her body and her eyes, I missed Everything from her. But, there was something about Cara... something that I couldn't explain. I looked at them and spoke

" Enough with the hugs. " I paused while they let go of each other. I was like

   " We need to plan and get ready for your  fifth birthday party." Becca and Bella smiled then high fived. Cara was like

   " I didn't know my babies have grown that big"  she kissed them then spoke

   " Don't worry guys....we will dress you up like barbie, get the biggest cake and make the event perfect." She paused for a while and continued

   " C'mon guys.... let's go to your room. You need to take a shower,eat and then we can seat and choose dresses for your birthday party... Let's go" they left me behind still smiling. I then heard my phone beeping. I took my phone and saw the text written

' Get ready to attack. I will send you the information...if you win, you will get to see the cold bloodied island "

It was Mr Hutchinson. I smirked,.. the Cold bloodied island, it's where all people that have taken the M2V pills stay. It's the land of unactivated vampires. I always desired to see it....I gave a big smile.
