"NNOITRA!!!" Nel shouted in worry. Quickly rushing to his side, she used sonido to get out of there. They hugely underestimated their opponent. 

After traveling considerable distance till she couldn't sense any reiatsu anymore, she stopped to heal nnoitra. Her saliva contained some healing properties. She looked at his still deteriorating wound confused,

"That slash had very small reiatsu. So how did it pass through his hierro?"

"Aaaaand there she goes. Time to chase after her."

'Wait! Don't! She is stronger than you are now.'

"So?"

'What do you mean by "So?" '

"So means So. All the more reason to chase after her."

'You IDIOT! IDIOT! IDIOT! IDIOT!'

Ignoring the sword's complaints and curses, Subaru chased after the hollow girl. She was already way out of his sight. But he had his ways.

"Kenbunshoku no Haki"

Haki, a special type of power that utilizes one's spiritual power for mainly three things observation, defence and intimidation, thus separated in three forms: 

Kenbunshoku Haki, Busoshoku Haki and Haoshoku Haki respectively.

'Kenbunshoku Haki, One of the haki from the three forms of haki. Enhances my observation to instinctual level. Other than that it lets me process the information from surrounding in more precision. It's usage are diverse, one of which is-'

"Found her. Let's go partner."

'-to track her down.'

'How many times do I have to tell you that she is dangerous? Atleast train a bit more, go and kill some of those hollows.'

"Now, now don't get unreasonable. They are also hollows, you know. Besides, where's fun in defeating the weak?"

'You Battle Maniac! I should have never taught you those haki.'

"You still haven't taught me Haoshoku Haki."

'Hmph! Figure that out by yourself. Ew! What the hell that's gross!'

Nel was using Nel shower to give quick treatment to Nnoitra but she stopped using it and immediately moved him and herself just in time before anyone would get hurt by the blackish purple slash.

"Why do you chase after us?" Nel asked ready to draw out her sword.

"Why do you think so?" In contrast Subaru was quite relaxed when facing against her.

"Personally I don't want to draw my sword." Nel said.

"Me too. But can you say the same for your friend?" 

"He is already incapacitated right now. What reason is there to kill a weak?"

"You bring up a nice point. What's good in killing a weak and a pacifist? I just wanted a good battle."

'No! No! Your original reason was to gather information.'

"Oh yeah! yeah! I nearly forgot. Since you don't seem to wanna fight. Can you atleast share some information?"

Relaxing a bit, Nel dropped her hand from the sword hilt. 

"Sure. I can give you all the information that I am able to."

"Wow! A not so unreasonable witchfiend. That's new."

"So, there's no one called Satella or any witch of envy in this world?"

"No, I don't think I know anyone like that. If you're talking about witches, there were ones called bount."

"Hmm….No, I am not referring to them. Anyway, it's fine. So, why did he attack me?"

"We weren't supposed to but he is just like a child. I see no reason in his actions. We were ordered by Aizen-sama to recruit Vasto Lorde. Now that I think of it do you want to join us?"

"Tell me a bit more about your "Aizen-sama" first."

"Aizen-sama was the one who gave us this form. Before, we were like any other Vasto lorde then he granted us the greater power. Now, we are called Arrancars. And the ones in the rank from 1-10 are called Espadas. He is Espada no.8 and I am Espada no.3." 

"Holy Shit! You are kinda big shot. Damn!"

Nel smiled at his remarks and continued, "We are in a war with Shinigami so we were ordered to recruit Vasto Lorde."

"Is that so? Maybe I should join Shinigami."

"NO!!"

Subaru got startled at Nel's outburst, "Jesus! That scared me."

"Shinigami are evil. You cannot join them. They will kill you."

"No! No! Judging by your story. You guys are more evil."

'Master, I agree with her. They will kill you. I think it's best to join her. Afterall you are-"

Subaru had a complex expression. He didn't want to admit it but there was nothing he could do. He reached his left side. It was covered with a hard mask. Even if he shattered it, it would regrow anyway.

'At the bright part, you can grow stronger that way and you get to fight those Shinigami too…. i am sorry.'

"It's okay. Atleast, it makes me happy I am not a witchfiend. And Everything is possible only because of you, Ariel. So, it's fine. Hah! Hey Nelliel Let me join your team."

Nel clasped her hand happily, "Sure, Of course. You can just call me Nel. You will have to meet Aizen-sama though. Are you alright with that?"

"Yeah, I am fine with that."

"But I am not."

Both of them looked at Nnoitra who had just woken up. 

Nnoitra stood up and pointed his weapon at Subaru and challenged him, "Fight me! I will only let you join after you kill me."

Nel raised her voice, "Nnoitra That's Enough! You are going against the Aizen-sama order right now."

Nnoitra knew his limits. He gritted his teeth. His pride couldn't let it go, "I will kill you."

Subaru smirked at Nnoitra's words, "Get good first idiot."

Before Nnoitra could vent his anger, Nel interrupted, "Looks like you can move now. Let's not make Aizen-sama wait anymore. Let's go."

Finishing her words, Nel ran towards Las Noches. So did Subaru following her. Nnoitra stood there like a statue for a moment with anger blowing in his heart, "I will kill them. Both that bastard and that bitch. How dare they look down on me. I will kill them. Just wait."

And he followed after them too.
