Chapter 68 - A Pre-Lunch Snack
Cadence rinsed her heavily soaped body quickly, trying not to linger in the shower. Still, she kept an ear out for footsteps, half expecting (and desperately wanting) James to join her. Instead, she was able to finish up uninterrupted and wrapped herself in a large fluffy white towel. She stepped out of the bathroom, quickly scanned their suite and realized with disappointment that she was alone. She was not concerned in the slightest though and busied herself with the necessary task of going through her suitcase.
