Party (4

Virtya waved his hand around which shushed the murmurs. He smiled widely and took his cup into his grip and took a sip before putting the cup back onto the table. The cup released a sound when it was placed down.

"Other than that, we came here to relax and mingle among ourselves, so. Enjoy yourselves." Virtya sat down and looked at Tanya.

Bogdan was given wine and he walked towards the other attendees with a smile.

Currently, there were some of the attendees were now standing up and moving around to talk to their fellows. After all, finding a chance to socialize with the nobles and the top merchants was not that easy and that was why they were moving around.

The music continued and because of how things had escalated, Virtya also had to stand up and with a smile, he asked for Tanya to follow him.

"Do you know how to dance?" Virtya asked Tanya with a tired voice that was barely audible.

He had gripped her hand tightly while staring at her. He moved even much closer to Tanya and even if he had been around with Tanya so many times, his heart still palpitated. After all, Tanya was beautiful and lovely and Virtya had liked her since his eyes saw her face.

Her beautiful blue eyes, her slender body, her smooth skin, her hair, her beautiful face and her charm derived from her coldness just made Virtya want to stay close to her forever, he didn't want anything else but to impress the girl in front of him.

Virtya held Tanya's other hand and right now, they were too close to each other in that he could feel her breath . He was smiling with affection as his hair swayed around but she was confused, slightly embarrassed at how awkward this entanglement was turning to.

"I don't know how to dance. I was only taught about fighting and killing but do we have to hold each other's hands?" Tanya asked as she showed the intention of wanting to detach herself from Virtya.

[What is Virtya doing? I thought the guy is into Catalina.]

[Maybe they are not in love. Virtya simply wanted to move closer to her so that he could tell her a secret that he doesn't want us to hear.]

[That smile of his and the air around him should tell you something but it seems as if he is forcing the girl to be with him. What a joke. I have never seen Catalina and Virtya this close but you say that Catalina is Virtya's companion?? How?? I don't understand.]

[This is normal. We the aristocrats we are not tied to only having one girl. He deserves to be happy. If I were him, I would be preparing to marry the twentieth wife by now. A king without a harem is someone that should be frowned upon and disdained. We derive fun from having many girls around us. That Tanya is not bad but could have Virtya told us that he wants a girl? I have a daughter who is very much beautiful than this Tanya and Catalina, she could make a good queen for Azuhai. I think I will prepare my daughter after this so that I can present her to Virtya next time so that we could foster a good relationship among us. He needs us the dukes after all, he won't reject this companionship, right?]

"The people are badmouthing us. I think this should stop." Tanya urged Virtya. She didn't want to detach herself from Virtya forcefully as she didn't want to hurt him.

Virtya still smiled without uttering a word and then he pulled Tanya even much closer to him until their faces were now closer together.

"Let them say whatever they want. I will teach you how to dance." Of course, Virtya was doing this to Tanya because he knew that Tanya would not go against him and she would only do what he wanted. He didn't care even if Tanya didn't have any feelings for him as Virtya only wanted to enjoy himself by holding Tanya close to him. How could a party be fun without being closer to a girl, a party could only be fun after a girl and a boy came closer to each other.
