Virtya wrapped his left hand around the confused Tanya's waist and then he held her left hand with his right hand after placing her right hand on his shoulder.
"Dancing is not hard. You just have to follow the rhythm of the song and then move the body alongside it. Of course, dancing styles are many but most of them are derived from our own daily activities, actions or after seeing how the animals moved or behaved. For example, the rapid movement of the praying mantis could be turned to a dance, the slow walking of a penguin could be a dance, the action of washing the clothes or husking grain - all these are the actions that we could copy and turn them into a dance... Well, don't forget that even your fighting styles could also be a dance but it also depend on which action you apply to the rhythm of a song because each of these actions had their own activities that they could be applied onto. However, the dance that I want you to dance with me is a famous one. Just look at the people who have joined us.. they are dancing the same way."
Virtya danced with Tanya even if it was a hard for her to catch up, it was not that she was a slow learner but this was just too awkward for her and it was overwhelming her endurance. Every second, every minute, it all felt like an eternity for her.
"Galina. What do you think? We should also jump around like Virtya. My blood is boiling. I can't wait anymore. I want to dance with you Galina." Alexandre knelt down and begged. However, Galina's attention was not even upon Alexandre as all of her view was taken by Virtya and Tanya.
"Please Galina... Just once... I wont ask anymore." Alexandre stood up under the confused gazes of the attendees and uttered into Galina's ear,
"Come. Let's dance."
"No! I don't wanna dance. Look for someone else!" Galina shifted to Alexandre and shouted coldly before she turned to stare at Virtya who was forcing Tanya to a dance. Her voice was loud but the music had muffled it and it was only the people around them who heard.
Alexandre stood there for a moment as he wallowed in this awkwardness and embarrassment.
He stomped his feet to the ground and threw a look towards the smiling Virtya and frowned. Slowly by slowly, he walked towards the singer. He brushed himself upon the people who were dancing but he didn't care, he was disappointed and skeptical about himself.
Nonetheless, after Alexandre was almost closer to the singer, he stopped and stared at her and put on a weak smile.
The song was slow like an RnB but when one perked their ear and concentrated to the song, they would realize that the rhythm was changing.
It started with a slow beating of the drum and then the beatings started to move faster and then faster, the other musical instruments followed the same and the music was now not slow but it had been brought to a dance-hall genre.
The movement of the dancing attendees also changed as they were not moving their bodies around slowly but it had became as it they were fighting each other but it was still a dance.
However, Virtya and Tanya were not like the others, Virtya was still dancing slowly as he didn't realize the change of the rhythm, all his attention was on Tanya and even Tanya was also lost. The knights didn't allow anyone to move closer to Virtya and Tanya and therefore, the attendees could not brush onto them to bring them back.
On the other hand, Alexandre grinned, he watched the singer moving her waist following the rhythm of the song and then he moved towards her while dancing.
Alexandre caressed her arm and then her waist while dancing.
One should know that the singer had not stopped singing. Her energy had just been amplified with Alexander's presence and she seemed like she liked his touch as it could be seen from the way her voice was changing now and again.
However, not everyone was dancing, the palace maids were still moving around while giving out wine and the merchants were engaged in discussions with the dukes and their fellow merchants.
Bogdan didn't even find a chance to rest or dance with the girls that showed the interest to dance with him because he was wholly occupied as the merchants and the dukes keep asking him questions about the cement factory and how they could procure this cement.
