Building a Guild in a Fiction World using my Gamer System

Waking up in a fictional world where different movies combined to form a gigantic world of a sort. How would an ordinary guy become the strongest entity? By building a guild, of course. This is a harem novel so before anyone complains, I'll just put it out there. The harem isn't that large and is slow going. Movies include: Marvel, DC, John Wick, Fast and Furious Saga and so on.

Feelings.

Suki quietly listened as Bruce continued,

"I am not special because I was adopted by them because there are hundreds of others like me. We don't really share a family type of relation there, it is kill or be killed. And from a young age, I've been taught to do so."

"We are all disciplined and trained through ways that were akin to torture and only the fittest survive." Bruce said continuing to soothe her, "I somehow managed to get out for reasons I am not even sure of, but being an orphan with no knowledge other than to kill, I joined this place called The Continental."

"It's basically a hotel, where people like me could get a job. And not wanting to rot in the streets I did what I had to do, and joined them. And before long, I was doing nothing but murdering people. I killed my way through everything."

"I saw things, that I want to forget. I did things, I wish I never did. The consolation being that I never harmed any innocent people, but once you've killed enough those words don't really weigh that much. It's practically a lie that I have created to help me keep afloat."

"I am not a good man, and I know for a fact that the things I did have affected innocents, but since my hands weren't dirty I never looked back to it. After an incident during one of my so-called missions, things went a little south and I saw for myself, what the consequences of my action were. The lie that I build up crumbled within itself."

"But as they say, everything happens for a reason and I like to believe that to be the case, as that incident helped me open my eyes to see what I was becoming."

"The way I was going, I would've ended up becoming the same person that I kill. By killing a bunch of bad guys, I was making other evil men more powerful. So I knew I had to get out before it was too late. Before I reached a point where there was no turning back. So I tried everything in my power but things aren't so simple in the underworld."

"The simple outlook of life I had, was becoming my downfall and in my desperation, I would've done something completely insane to get out if it came down to it. But as far as how I could see it, the only way I would be able to get out was if I killed more and become strong enough."

"That's why I didn't join any group of mobs and I only picked jobs that could assure me that I wouldn't be doing the wrong thing all over again. And I did that quite well, in fact, I might have done it too well that some people had begun paying attention to me."

"Being young and good at my job, this group of people wanted me so they could shape me in however way they wanted and earn my loyalty. But the thought of not being in control came back all over again, and the thing that I have been trying to fight just kept beating me down over and over again."

"As I was pushed against the wall, not sure as to what I should do. I got this job offer, my ticket to get out. The job that bought me out here to Miami."

"Things weren't meant to be this complicated but sometimes no matter how good your plan is things don't necessarily work out. It was just supposed to be about Carter and the hard drive but here we are now."

It was the first time he was sharing his feelings and his truth with someone so he couldn't help but feel awkward about it. The things he did were not something he was proud of, so this wasn't a badge of honor he could wear around and show off.

And having been repressing his feelings for so long, it was hard to get sentimental about it out of the blue. So he just said out everything he wanted to say exactly the way he felt about it.

Suki looked back at him as Bruce chuckled, "Are you disgusted by me?"

"You really are an idiot." Suki out of the blue kissed him.

Bruce who was surprised by the certain kiss, kissed her back. The kiss lasted for quite a time, as they deeply entwined with one another barely letting go.

"I take that as a no." Bruce smiled, "I shouldn't be surprised since we've already established that you've weird choice in men."

"That was to assure you in case you begin to overthink," Suki said looking into his eyes, "Having self-awareness is a good thing, but you can't just decide what the other person is feeling just using common sense alone. Humans are more complicated than that."

"Sorry, it's just with my line of work, I am used to predicting people's move and their behavior." Bruce apologized, "And being right most of the time, has made me develop this sense of assurance over my abilities, but I am glad you're different."

"I really wonder how you can stay like this."

"It's quite common," Bruce shrugged, after all, he was the only one with a system cheat and as for the rest of the assassins they just got used to it as they had already killed the part of them that cared, "So what do you think, do you wanna take on the job? I wouldn't ask if it wasn't necessary since I need someone I can trust."

"Can you take them down?"

"Well, you're underestimating my abilities by a lot you know, and besides I am not alone." Bruce said, "The man I was talking about earlier, we sort of share the same objective, so if I can get him to work with me, I am certain that I will be able to complete it."

Suki took a deep breath as she nodded, "I will do it!"

Bruce's eyes went wide open, not because he was surprised by Suki's acceptance but rather what was in front of him. Guild? Trust level?

Bruce wanted to delve in further into what the hell this thing was about but with Suki around and the conversation they were having, it wasn't an appropriate time to do so.
