The air was sombre. They all had taken shelter in a cave nearby to shelter from the rain. It was good that they did because as soon as they took shelter the rain began pouring in biuckets.
Ho Seok sat in the damp cave staring at Jin's body. They had refused to leave his body behind to be eaten by wild animals they could not do that.
Everyone was quiet, they all didn't have it in them to talk. Their brother with whom they had been through everything with was gone.
Turning his head he stared at Jin's body. He looked so pale and cold. Reaching out he grasped his ice cold hand. He wanted to give warmth to him. he did not want the cold Jin, he wanted the warm and alive one.
That was strange, he thought, Jin's hand feels warm. He laughed bitterly, he must've been driven crazy by his sadness. How could a dead person have warm hands?
He felt Jin's hand twitch. He inhaled sharply. Could it be? Not daring to hope, Ho Seok immediately placed his ear against Jin's chest.
Sitting back up he felt tears falling from his eyes. He couldn't hold back anymore, he broke down into loud sobs.
