There were a total of three giants facing them, all three of which were bigger than the first giant. They roared angrily at them when they saw the damage they had done to their friend. They looked like rabid animals and madly rushed at them. There was nothing the boys could do other than to defend.
The injured giant looked on in mad glee as his guards forced the puny humans into defending. He could not deny that these humans were stronger than the ones he had seen before. Compared to the supposed heroes in the human villages, these were much more dangerous. That's why they needed to die now. If they were allowed to live, they would hinder his race's plan. When he thought of his race he could not help but sweat. Once his father found out that, he the son of the race's leader, next in line to the throne had almost been killed by a bunch of humans, he would be punished greatly.
They continued to dodge the giant's attacks, slowly tiring, the hope slowly fading. Jin was the first to fall. He had been injured by the power backlash and had lost a lot of blood. He was not able to dodge in time as one of the giants smashed their fist down on him.
Tae Hyung who was the nearest to Jin watched as his brother was pounded to the ground, his body looking broken. The giant was happy that it finally hit one of them. Gleefully it raised its hands above its head and brought them down on Jin, to finish him once and for all.
All the brothers looked on in desperation, they wanted to save Jin but they were stopped by the other two giants. The monsters looked at them in, enjoying the desperation in their eyes. What they loved more than eating was toying with their food.
Just as the fists were about to land on Jin, flames shot towards the giant's fists. The flames were so hot that they burned the giant's hands to a crisp, the giant roared in agony. Before the other giants could react a rain of sharp stones fell on them. The force behind each stone was not be underestimated. A normal stone would shatter to pieces if thrown at the giants with the same force as the giants' skin were thick and tough. However these stones were different, they pierced right through the giants and did not shatter. Not only that when the stones pierced through the giants covered in their blood it would fly in the air and attack the giants again.
