"Thank you Karin san, you have done more for me by telling me all this then you realize. Hey, how about you all join me for Ramen? I will show you guys the best place for ramen in town." Naruto said with a smile.

"Are you sure?" Karin asked "Being with us will not be doing you any favors, as things are tense between upper management of Leaf and us. You might get bullied for being with us."

"As if I already am not" Naruto scoffed "It is fine, come on. I will introduce you to one of my two favorite adults."

Naruto then led the three of them to Ichiraku Ramen. Seeing him enter, a pretty long-haired brunette greeted him happily "Hi there Naruto-Kun, brought over friends of yours today."

"Yes, Ayame-nee" Naruto called back happily, surprising Karin and Haku with how easily he gave away his trust and treated them as friends "They are new to Leaf and I wanted to show them the place that sells the food of the Gods."

"Aw, aren't you the sweetest today," Ayame said while softly patting his head "Also, congratulations on finally becoming a Genin Naruto. The first bowl for you is On the House. Go and tell father your orders."

They sat on the long stools then at the counter, as Naruto called out to a middle-aged uncle who had a jovial smile with an earnest face "Teuchi san, Ayame-Nee said I can have a Sweet and Sour Pork Ramen with Naruto fishcake on the house today since I became a Genin."

Teuchi turned to Naruto and grinned "Of course, Naruto. We do need to celebrate our best customer's achievement. What would your friends like to eat?"

"Same as Naruto," Karin said, her mouth-watering from the delicious smells wafting from the kitchen.

"I will take Seafood Ramen Special with some chilled lemonade," Haku said quietly

"A Vegetarian Sweetcorn Ramen for me, with some salt-pepper garnished fried veggies side-dish" Bahamut ordered

"Ah, long time since I had a vegetarian customer," Teuchi said happily "My late wife was also one you know. I learned Vegetarian Ramen dishes just to please her. You just wait, you are in for a treat."

While Teuchi prepared their orders, Karin and Bahamut engaged in casual conversation with Naruto. Haku kept watch and even dissuaded some ill-intention holding civilians from coming near them through some focused killing intent.

A certain obese, yet important-looking man, who was looking at Karin lustily, nearly pissed and crapped in his pants, before crawling away in fear after Haku retracted his intent. After seeing how those with ill-intention ended up when approaching the group, other like-minded people wizened up and turned their courses away from the group.

Naruto was surprised at not getting even a single foul-mouthed comment or dirty glares today. This had not happened in forever, not since his friend Jun had disappeared.

Though Hokage said it was under mysterious circumstances and that there were very less chances of Jun surviving or returning, Naruto had always felt that Jun could never be stopped. He was always the mature one in their group, having changed the course of many of his friends including Hinata and Ino.

He was also the reason Naruto trained so well and passed the graduation exams so easily. He didn't do well in writing, but was leaps and bounds ahead of others in stamina, Taijutsu, and had invented some very interesting applications of transformation Jutsu for his arsenal.

Naruto had discovered the effect his immense amount of chakra had in his transformation. Hence he had made himself a walking armory, able to transform pure dirt, stones, leaves, and branches into solid weapons. Unlike other shinobi's transformations, he had both mass and power.

After having a delicious meal, the Uzu team accompanied Naruto to his home. Naruto offered water to everyone as they relaxed in his home, as he had forgotten to buy milk or any other beverage.

"So Naruto," Bahamut asked, "Are you confident about tomorrow?"

"Umm, I don't know really" Naruto confessed honestly "I can only say I have trained my best all this time. As to what will happen tomorrow, I can only improvise according to the situation."

"What are your strengths? What do you fall back on when you are desperate?" Bahamut probed.

"Well, if I had to pick one, I would say it is my Transformation Jutsu," Naruto said

"Transformation? A weird choice, but can you elaborate?" Bahamut asked

"Well, I don't know if it happens to anyone else, but my transformations are different from the usual ones. I have a bit too much chakra, leading to me overloading most of the delicate Jutsus with excess chakra. You have no idea how hard I had to work to produce a basic clone, that too a single one."

"Anyway, I noticed like unlike others, when my chakra overloads the Transformation Jutsu, it created a different phenomenon rather than failing. When provided excess chakra, my transformation actually solidified rather than being just a flimsy cover."

"Through exploiting this, I was able to create a special technique of mine, which I named Armory of Weapons. I can transform anything and everything into what I want as long as I have chakra" Naruto demonstrated by turning a pair of chopsticks into two Kunai and proved their solidity by clashing them against each other.

Bahamut and others were pleasantly surprised, especially because they knew chakra doesn't work like that. It was not a wish-granting ability, one had to work hard and research to create new techniques. Yet Naruto had discovered this technique instinctively, something they couldn't duplicate even by seeing it first hand.

Bahamut had years ago created the True Body Transformation technique after being inspired by Naruto's peculiarity. However, he now saw that Naruto had taken his talent in a different direction from him. This was not just a Jutsu, this showed hints of Naruto's elusive bloodline, something beyond what an Uzumaki should be capable of.

Making a note mentally to look into it and teach Naruto more in the future, Bahamut then spent the rest of the time showing and instructing Naruto about different weapons.

They even summoned a few of the more common ones such as Senbons, Fuma Shuriken, Katana, Tanto, Kodachi, Staff, Mace, Claws, etc from their scrolls. Naruto was immensely pleased to get a chance to expand his Armory.

He spent the time Bahamut and Others were in his home to get familiar with all the weapons they showed him. This was to make sure that he can transform them in the future.

Apart from Bahamut, Karin also instructed him in a secret technique she devised after seeing Naruto's peculiarity. She used Naruto's excess chakra as a way to upgrade one of the basic Shinobi techniques, Chakra strings.

Chakra Strings usually involved shaping and molding chakra into an extremely thin string of chakra and connecting it to various stuff to manipulate it. However, Karin's modification turned it into a new technique, Chakra Tentacle.

It was many times thicker than Chakra String and required as much chakra as a Shun-shin for each tentacle. But in return it had a much lower requirement for Chakra Control and had much greater power, making it perfect to be used for direct offense rather than just control.

Karin managed to teach Naruto the technique before they had to leave for the night, making the sunny guy ecstatic for improving on a previous Jutsu he knew and learning a new one on the same day. Since he barely got any companionship or guidance usually, even this little bit made him very grateful.

The next day, Team 8 of Konoha and Team 1 of Uzu assembled in Training Ground 4 to meet Kurenai. They didn't have to wait for long as Kurenai arrived shortly after they themselves did.

"Good, you are all on time" Kurenai nodded with satisfaction "Now, for the Genin Qualification test, we are going to have a three-way battle. Team 8 of Konoha vs Team 1 of Uzu vs Me. If Team 8's performance fails to satisfy me, then they will be disqualified as Genin. If Uzu Team fails in showing satisfactory performance, then they will no longer be assigned to me and Team 8. Everyone got it? Then let's go!"

In the next moment, a clash ensued between the three parties. Naruto and Bahamut attacked Kurenai with close combat, delivering a barrage of fast-paced Taijutsu attacks to Kurenai, which she either blocked or gracefully dodged. Before she could counterattack, a hail of senbons was sent by Hinata and Haku, making Kurenai Shun-shin to the treeline.

However, they were still not done, as a swarm of bugs appeared from the forest, in the direction Kurenai was fleeing to, shocking her in the coordinated attacks of these kids.

'How are they doing this so seamlessly' Kurenai thought before realizing that she could only see five of them 'Where is that Uzumaki girl?'

They didn't give Kurenai much time to think as they kept coming in pairs to keep her busy and Shino attacked in the gaps of her defense. Kurenai now was truly desperate, and she stopped holding back.

Forming a series of signs swiftly, she began weaving her Genjutsu, 'Demonic Illusion: Flower Mist'

An illusory pink mist was released from Kurenai, swiftly spreading everywhere. Bahamut and Haku disappeared in a flash, managing to escape it. However, Hinata, Naruto, and Shino were caught in it, finding themselves in a mysterious place with blooming giant pink flowers.

Hinata, Naruto, and Shino looked down and found that they were on top of one of the flowers each. Before they could do something, the flowers closed their petals around the kids, trapping them, before exploding in a pink explosion.

Once the explosion was done, Naruto and the other two, found themselves back in the real world. However, apart from Naruto, the other two were in no shape to continue, already unconscious. Even Naruto was barely standing on his feet, his whole body feeling as if it had been put through the wringer. He positioned himself in front of the other two to protect them.

Kurenai smiled at that, "You did very well Naruto-Kun, protecting your teammates to the very last moment. Now, let's see if you manage to endure the final attack. Demonic --"

"And 3, 2, 1 …. Game over. Kyoka Suigetsu!"
