The Origin

The pair made their way through the halls of the castle and Ezekiel was incredibly worried about how the council would react to him.

He knew that they could not deny their queen but he was concerned about them making his life hard on their own.

As they got near a specific set of doors he heard loud voices arguing from within.

"The queen said to leave him alone!"

"As soon as he arrived an army appeared above our city! How can you ignore this!"

"Because we are not foolish wnough to believe an otherworlder that barely reached the level of Lesser Archdevil can muster an army!"

He flinched as he figured out what the argument was over and he knew that both were technically correct.

He was not the one who brought the army but he was the reason they attacked.

The queen had a look of fury on her face as she pushed the doors open.
