Billionaire's Fake Bride

Melvin Williams and Katherine Walker have been inseparable, navigating life's ups and downs since birth. Their bond seems unbreakable until a misunderstanding throws everything into chaos. As they dive deeper into their ruse, navigating a whirlwind of congratulations and wedding plans, they must confront their feelings and the boundaries of their friendship. What begins as a simple deception becomes a test of their loyalty and love, leading to a climax no one sees coming.

On a date

I am currently getting ready for the party that will be held at Miguel's apartment on Saturday night.

My hair is curled and styled half up, half down. There are a pair of curls on the side.

When I am finished applying the pink gloss to my lips, I give them a little smack with my lips. There is a scent of strawberries emanating from the gloss.

Melvin is in awe of the gloss that I put on.

Melvin leaned over me in high school while I wore a raspberry lipliner. We shared a sniff.

"Why are you sniffing me, Melvin?" I am inquiring.

"You smell like raspberry."

I chuckle to myself. Without a doubt, I do. You're wearing me out, you moron.

"What do you mean you're wearing?"

I indicate one of my lips. "The raspberry you're smelling is coming from my lipgloss."

His face becomes flushed. "Oh," Melvin says as he considers my lips. "Can I have some?"

I go into the bag and bring out the gloss, but before I can dispense it to him, his lips are already over mine.

After what seems like only a few seconds, he pulls away. My lips still tingled from his kiss, and I said, "Thank you."

It's hard for me to accept that he did that.

As one of his many potential suitors approached him, he got to his feet. Before returning to me, he conversed with her for a short while. "I have to get together with the guys to play football. After school, I'll be waiting for you, Kathy,"

"Bye," he said as he pushed the girl away.

Melvin may be seen entering the room. He is looking at me. "You look beautiful, Kathy."

I look at the ground in embarrassment and feel my cheeks heat up. "I am grateful," I mutter.

In the next instant, he has my face in his grasp, bringing it up to meet his eyes before doing so. "When I congratulate you, you should never take your gaze off of me. I get a kick out of watching what I do to you. His lips are kissing the crown of my head. This is our first meeting with a room full of influential people, and it will take place tonight. Please know that I am looking forward to showcasing you, Kathy.

A grin appears on my face as I look at you. "Me, too." His tie needs to be tied correctly, and his tie is even crooked. "First, I need to fix this tie."

I remove the toe from him by lifting the collar of his shirt and pulling it up. I untie the knot again.

When I put on the tie, I ensure that the larger end is on my right side and the smaller one is on my left. Then, I twist the wider end around and thread it through.

After taking a small amount of the knot and pulling it up, I removed it from my body and placed it on Melvin.

As I tweak the knot, I pull his collar down and adjust it.

On his twenty-first birthday, his mother presented him with a set of gold cufflinks, which he currently wears.

In addition to taking my jacket out of the closet, Melvin also takes out his own. It is he who assists me with mine.

As I assist him with his jacket, I put my arm through it and then hold it.

After taking my hand, we proceed to leave via the door.

When we arrive, a limousine awaits us in the driveway, and the driver specifically opens the door.

"Good evening, Mr Williams

Good morning, Carlos. I would like you to get to know my fiancée, Katherine Walker.

He shakes my hand. "It's nice to meet you."

I maintain direct eye contact with him. "You too." I get into the car, and Melvin follows me in. Melvin gets into the car after me.

After the door has been shut, the driver will climb into his seat.

There is a car departure from the residence.

****

As soon as we get to Miguel's residence, the area is crowded with people, and paparazzi are present.

Why would Miguel invite them to an event of this nature? When I am on my way to the house with Melvin, I do not want to be harassed by them.

Melvin is a significant person.

Even if I am a nobody, I know this will all change as soon as my face appears on a billboard in LA.

On the other hand, the possibility of it happening is making me anxious.

I never considered myself attractive enough to be a model when I was younger. However, being friends with my managers has shown me they do not care about my size.

Throughout the years, I have realized that they have also been producing clothing for individuals who are obese.

Not so long ago, they informed me that everyone has the right to wear something wonderful and that we are the women who can make that happen.

During yesterday's photo session, I requested that the makeup artist lightly do my makeup, and they did it precisely as I desired.

Melvin's mouth dropped open whenever he saw me wearing a red halter dress that featured a slit that went all the way down to my thigh.

I was getting closer to him when I heard him whispering. "Kathy, you have outstanding good looks. You should wear this to the party tomorrow.

Seraphina heard him. Indeed, you ought to. You must inform the paparazzi that you are wearing clothing designed by Miller.

My smile spreads across my face as I look at the red dress I am currently wearing. "I'm ready to show off my new dress," I say.

Melvin lets out a chuckle. It is obvious that you are. One of your friends and your boss designed it.

After the door to the limousine opens, we exit the vehicle.

I grab Melvin's hand as he extends it to me.

As I exit the vehicle, a few flashes shoot out in the surroundings.

I wouldn't say I like the fact that the flashes tend to make me blind.

Removing my sunglasses from my bag, I put it on.

It won't be as horrible as it was before.

"Melvin, when are you getting married?"

He is looking at me. We are going to be successful the following summer. My chances are that I will have work after that time. You know how the roles come and go for someone like myself.

A reporter has stated. Are you engaged to be married, and does your girlfriend know about it? The most recent information we received from you was that Michelle had to leave for fashion week.

Melvin maintains a low profile. As he does so, his hand is placed on the small of my back. "We should head inside," he says.

I, too, would not want to spend much time with these individuals. They prefer to poke their noses into everything they can find.

Upon opening the door to the mansion, I see Miguel standing among several others.

She smiles broadly as she stands beside him, and Seraphina stands beside him. Her golden dress makes her look stunning.

There is a slit in the back, and her breasts are exposed as a result of this. She is wearing her hair in a bun.

I move over to them while grabbing Melvin's hand firmly.

Miguel takes in the people around him. "Everyone, I want you to meet Melvin Williams and his fiancé."

Another woman interrupts him and says, "Katherine Walker." Taking my hand in hers, she does so. "It's good to meet the face of Miller Inc." When she glances at Seraphina, she does not appear to be in a good mood.

When I ask, "Seraphina?"

The eyes of Seraphina find me. There is no sound coming from her. She grabs my hand and draws Melvin and me away from the gathering.

That was very impolite.

If we are a significant distance apart from the group, she says. "That woman can't shut up for five minutes."

"Why don't you like her?"

"That was Abby Grant," she says with a chuckle. No way, no way. The fact that the nerd we went to high school with turned out to be like that is incomprehensible to me.

Melvin exclaims, "Wow!" "Her appearance is just gorgeous. In comparison to that one, you have some competition.

I slap Melvin on the arm. "Don't be rude."

"I'm being honest." Melvin makes his way towards Seraphina. "Miguel will be an idiot twice over if he lets you walk away again."

There is going to be a lot of excitement tonight.

Miguel looks around the room. As soon as his eyes meet Seraphina's, he makes a statement to the group and strides over to her. Seraphina, please stay by my side for the rest of the night. I don't want you to leave. You are the only person I see on a date.
