I am pulling the black Audi R8. While driving into Miller Industries' parking lot, I locate a parking spot adjacent to Seraphina's black BMW. Zinnia owns the slot next to hers, and she also drives a black BMW to get around. Nameplates are affixed to the wall so individuals know where to park.
The parking area adjacent to Seraphina's is available. When she told me that she wanted me to park my car next to hers when I started driving a car, I had no idea what she meant. Whenever I lived alone, I would go to the office to catch the public transportation. Being stuck in traffic was something I tried to avoid at all costs. In addition, I lived right around the corner from the workplace, and walking was the most convenient form of transportation, except when it was raining.
When Seraphina enters the parking garage through the door, she takes a peek at the vehicle I am exiting. She flashes a grin. "It's about time you got a car."
I place my hand on top of the car. "She looks great, doesn't she?"
When Seraphina laughs. "Please, tell me the car doesn't have a name?"
It is true. Melvin decided that the car needed a name and named it Belle.
I've always wanted to own an Audi R8. As I was growing up, I would tell Melvin about my favourite cars, and it was rather amusing to see that the cars he had in his collection were the ones I used to say to him I wanted. I finally got to explore Los Angeles's streets in my favorite car.
He thinks about me when he thinks about them and not about the woman he wants to marry.
While opening the trunk, Seraphina takes a box out of them. "Can you help me with these?"
After saying, "Sure," I approach her and remove the box from her hands.
Melvin's car is the subject of her gaze. "What did he name her?"
"Belle," she says with a mock chuckle as she throws her head back. "He can select them," she said. Which is more critical: names or cars? "Seraphina?"
She pauses and raises her gaze to mine. "Yes?"
"My sister and brothers are coming here for their headshots, and I was wondering if you would like to meet them."
She breaks into a broad smile. I would really like to get to know the rest of the Walker siblings. What are their thoughts on the possibility of modeling for the company?
"Yes,"
My footsteps follow her as she continues to make her way to her office. After opening the door to her office with a push, she enters the space. She positions the boxes near the entrance: "Put your box next to one I just put down." After making her way to her desk, Seraphina takes a seat there. Please take a seat, Katherine. I would like to have a conversation with you.
I glance around the office, which is filled with eight boxes, each positioned against the walls. The wall has been painted light purple, and images of Seraphina and her sister in various locations, including Paris, Sydney, London, and Berlin, are all over it.
Each of the photographs shows them smiling.
I wish I had someone to do all of the stuff with. I wish I had someone.
As she does so, Seraphina places her hands on the table. I would also like you to model some of our products. I'm going to strike a bargain with you, in other words. Provided that you are prepared to model alongside your siblings, I will hire them together.
"Whose going to take the pictures when I'm in front of the camera?"
After the door is opened, Miguel enters the room. I get a grin from him. "I will." Taking the seat next to mine, he sits down. I began my career as a fashion designer after working as a photographer. That is how Seraphina and I met. Before she held her building and the clothesline began to gain popularity, I used to collaborate with her.
She is looking at me. "Do we have a deal?"
A grin appears on my face as I look at you. Then I get up and walk over to her. "Sure," I say. You are so appreciative. Because my parents are going to have jobs, they will no longer be required to provide financial support for my siblings. My path leads me to the entrance. "I still want to work behind the camera, too, Seraphina."
"I can't turn you away from the job I hired you for."
"Thanks, Seraphina." After securing the door, I proceed to my office and close it behind me.
The moment I turn on the light in my office, I am greeted with photographs of my family taken by me. This image of Melvin and me was taken by Zinnia when I brought him into the workplace, and it is currently displayed on the desk. When we were not looking, she took a picture to capture it.
I turn on the computer and wait for it to load before continuing.
My brothers gave me the CD, which is currently in my handbag, and I took it out.
I must watch it right now.
While I wait for the computer to load the disc, I insert it into the computer. The screen shows that the play button is available, and I press it.
I see myself leaving my dorm room in the image on the screen. I make my way towards the stairs, and I see that no one else is in the hall. I notice a hand, and then the power suddenly stops working.
When the building completely goes dark, I let out a scream. My phone is pulled out of my pocket, and I turn on the flashlight at the same time. As I approach the entrance, I notice Seraphina and Miguel descending the hallway.
Is the backup generator located somewhere? It was supposed to switch on immediately after the power interruption.
You can see Zinnia approaching me. "Are you alright?"
"I'm doing good. Did you have a backup generator?
Her head shakes in shock. I am going to dismiss everyone for the day and let them go home. I recommend that you go outside and bask in the sun. Zinnia stares at me with awe. "You're looking a little pale," she says.
I have a shade of paleness. The vast majority of my time is spent inside.
As I took my phone out of my pocket, I got on the phone with Alanie.
After the third ring, Alanie picked up the phone and answered it.
"Hey, Kathy," said Alanie. I am on my way to the office at this very moment. Taylor and Walden are present.
I won't be out of the office today; my superiors ordered me home because I would not be at the office. Can we meet at the beach? Swimming and shopping are both options for us.
It does sound good, Alanie. What beach would you recommend I meet you at?
I am in Venice.
We'll talk again soon, Alanie.
When she hangs up the phone, I immediately get in my car and drive away. I get inside and give Melvin a call.
After the first ring, Melvin responds to the call.
Are you feeling okay, Kathy? Melvin asks.
I chuckle to myself.
Whenever he is concerned about me, he is adorable.
"I'm doing good. I am phoning because there was a power outage at my employment, and I will go to the beach. Would you be interested in spending time with my siblings and me?"
That sounds like a lot of fun. Would you like me to pack your bikini? I understand that you would rather put your money aside than spend it on something you already possess.
That would be wonderful—many, many thanks to you.
I am Melvin. Thank you very much. Leo and his girlfriend plan to accompany us. Before I received your call, they pleaded with me to take them to the beach. Where would you like to meet me?
I am in Venice. I will miss you, Mel.
So long, Melvin.
Immediately after hanging up the phone, I crank the engine. I then proceed to the exit after leaving the parking area.
The security guard flashes a grin. "Have a good day, Miss Walker."
You too, Mike. You can expect to see me tomorrow. I will leave the parking garage and head toward the beach.
