CHAPTER 1 CONTINUATION

 it was a normal day there on earth where my little sister and my mother, And my beloved of a father sigh….

were rambling about this so-called popular "game" which has been trending online. Yes, all my family are getting updated to this so-called game, it's all my sister's fault. 

At first it started with our "family bonding time", together were we sit and watch a movie together and have some bonding quality time for the family, my dad suggested on what should we watch, and my sister came to the 'rescue'  suggesting a very popular game which been adapted to an series episode, and she said it was good my dad was recruclant at first since my sister said it was animated, and my dad don't like the so called "cartoon" stuff but my sister insisted it was good ,so we watch it at the end.   

And at the end, my dad Loved it. He was crying, getting angry and even was flustered, from all those scenes. I was flabbergasted, it's not like I don't like it it's just, i don't like romance in a way and ofc i can't say it was bad it was definitely good the plot was ok it's just i don't really like romance and the series is a romance genre itself I prefer action and fantasy movies, it is fantasy series but there's romance in it so it's not my cup of tea, but I can see the appeal why the reason the "game" and animation version is popular itself and I admit it the animation was good and even though there's a lot of romance on it in a way by 'romance' I mean the ahem..ahem yes, we watch it is not that explicit but it's there, There's still some plot and some action scene which isn't that bad it was good, you can clearly tell how the animator really worked their blood, sweat and tears for those animation scenes.

But I felt betrayed.

 My mom also like it and she asked my sister if there are any more genre and plot like this one and ofc my sister said the "game" was also adapted to a novel and my mom was swooned she was so happy that she checked if there are any physical copy of the novel so she could read it asap.

 My mother's hobby was reading, if you want to talk to her you have to go through the library where it was basically her room itself almost 24/7 she's always there and if anyone even disturb her reading time( which is all the time) she get a little moody with it ofc doesn't mean she's personality introverted my mom is always socially active, she always brings guessed on our house which is a bit crampy because of the space but as long as they're in the library they're fine with it, were not really that rich were not that poor either but our library itself is the biggest space for our house.

But my dad on the other hand,  He Is eccentric in a way he do things with work, the way he talk and many more he don't really talk much and he always has that straight face on his face but it's really different when he feel excited tho, my dad's hobby was painting yes, his hobby was painting but he doesn't like 'cartoony' stuff since his outdated so his kinda biased in a way. Since he draw realistic painting almost all our family picture are made by him he just paint us like it was nothing and I gotta tell you my father's art are so realistic to the point if you even wonder if it's a painting or just a print family picture that's how talented he is but his also has a quirk where he played games with me

Me and my dad like to play game's whether it's by computer or a straight up activity game, you name it we know it.

I still remember the time where I first taught my dad how to play a video game he wasn't really on it at first since there's alot of guidelines and a lot of clicking for the world play to the game so we take it a easy paced so he can get used to it and of course after some understanding of the guidelines we finally played the game we pick the 'easy' button so he can get used to it thoroughly. And at our first game 

I won.

He was depressed, he was sad and even though you can't really tell because of his poker face you can feel his slumped back and his ideably depressed aura that he was not satisfied with the result I kinda feel bad but my dad isn't that stupid enough that he would know for the 2nd round that i would go easy in him.

So he became determined.

After playing a lot of tries here and there we finally played the 'mild' button which means it's gonna get a bit hard and I can tell he really understands the game thoroughly so finally we played it.

It was intense trinkled with our sweat going through our jaw, the sound of a click and tapping noises you can only hear, beads of sweat and a beaten heart became faster and faster a slow breathing and eyes determined tangled through the screen 

Beep Beep,beep

You won

"WOOOOOOO!!!! YEAAAAHHHH '' my father jumped on his feet waving his hand up, creating a victory pose. Ofc me myself and i , was flabbergasted at such a scene since when did my father learn to do that? it's the  first time i saw my dad  react such strong reaction it's not everyday you saw your poker face of a dad act like this  and i then also smiled with his victory after recovering from the shocked he then ran through the door to get downstairs still shouting

Bang!

"What happened here?" my sister asked as she kicked the door open without hesitation she then looked at me and the tv raising her brow.

"Oh.. dad won in a game it was quite fun" I said as I stood on my feet and cleared the invisible dust through my knee she proceeded to look up and down at me and then walked away through the door to get downstairs I also followed her because i wanna see Mom's reaction.

We finally get through the library and then we see dad rambling about something as then we get closed we can hear their conversation.

"My love,my love I won!" my dad said still holding the game controller showing it to her like it's kinda a prized possession my Mom looked at my dad astonished since dad literally ran through the stairs then through  the library ofc no offence my dad itself looked like he's too old enough to even walk properly it's just my opinion not tryna be mean.

My mom then recovered from the shocked as she then straighten her back and put her book down she looked at my dad with enigmatic smile as her eyes looked at my dad fondly filled with memorial nostalgia she then nod and chuckled

"Haha, I guess we should celebrate the victory?" My Mom asked teasingly the moments she said that it feels like my dad came to his senses he momentary stop waving his hand and looked at the room looking embarrassed on how he acted his smile faded as he stand awkwardly in his position

"Ahem….ahem yeah..i guess we should" he said awkwardly seeing dad like this makes everyone kinda happy.

We smiled

"Yeah i guess we should" I said

"Oh let's order pizza" 

"Seriously? Dad's cooking is the best lets just made homemade cooking" I said disagreeing my sister comment

"Well it's 𝘩𝘪𝘴 victory, shouldn't it be his time to take a break?" 

Well she's kinda not wrong....before I could think of anything else my mom then said 

"Nonsense today i should be the one to coo-" 

"LET'S ORDER" Me and my sister said in unison as before she could finish her sentence.

My mom cracked a benevolent smile which looked….quite scary

"Dear" 

"Y-yes?" …

"You cooked the dinner" She said slowly fading her smile

Scary

"Ah...yes.." My father did not object to any further objection in case angering our mother anymore.

But we did in fact have a hearty meal.
