Chapter 15 A golden opportunity

Sydney much to her own shock felt aroused when Shawn lapped at the bleeding wounds, especially the one that was at the base of her neck. As a 25 year old Virgin, yes that's what she was. This was the first time she was having skinship interactions with the opposite sex and her body seemed to like the sensation. When Shawn lapped at her the second time, she couldn't help clamping her legs together and quivering in place. 'Am I that horny?!' she thought to herself.

"Do you like it?" Sydney shivered in her place hearing Shawn speak in a low and sexy voice just next to her ear. Of course she liked it but wut de hell! She wasn't telling him that! Still in her thoughts, she felt a large palm on her thigh gently massaging her and looking at the owner of the sneaky claws, Caden had a hungry look in his eyes, not the kind of food hunger....the type of hunger that was forbidden. "You don't need to deny it. Even with my dull sense of smell, I can smell how aroused you are!" Caden pointed out as his eyes peered into her own. He was ready to prove himself and his 'abilities'.

"What do you want?!" Sydney asked. Damn yes...she was aroused! So what about it?!

"That's supposed to be my line though...." Caden countered a sly smile gracing his cool features which was a first. He looked deviously handsome. As males, their duty had been to look after their female's in all aspects of life. With their female aroused, they had to help her feel good and they were to do anything she asked them to!

Shawn who had her in his arms didn't move a limb of his as he continued to hold her in his arms taking in deep breaths of the musky scent of her arousal which was only tormenting him. He also knew what males were supposed to do at such a time and he wanted to be the one to help her....but without her permission, they would not do a thing.

The feeling of a bunny in a wolf's den fitted her situation right now. She didn't know if she should cry, hide or cower in fear. These men could smell her arousal? When was she even aroused?! As far as she knew, she wasn't or was she? "You guys won't do what I don't want right?" Sydney asked just to be sure.

"We would never!" Shawn rasped from her ears sending shivers down her spine. "But we ought to help you...it's not mating so you shouldn't worry..." he added his personality completely switching from innocent blind beastman to a young male with high vigor to appease the female he fancied.

Sydney who felt his intentions through his skin skirt just where she sat didn't know whether he was saying all this for her or himself. But she wasn't dense enough to test the waters and besides, she was a little horrified. "I don't wish to be helped." she said stunning both males turning their blood which was initially boiling with youthful vitality turn cold.

She pried Caden's hand from her thigh and got off Shawn's lap as well and walked over to the furthest corner of the bed and shot the two men the sharpest eye she could master! Were they really trying to seduce her?! Not on her watch!! But she noticed the men were stupified with innocent and confused looks. Wtf!! Seconds ago, they were like gods of lust and now what?!!!

"You don't want to?!" Ken who had been present all this time but badly ignored spoke seeing that Caden and Shawn had let such a moment pass.

"Why..is it a crime?" Sydney snapped seeing Ken in her room.

"But I thought they were going to be your mates..why won't you let them help you with your arousal?!" Ken asked again. This female seriously! Was she really going to let such a golden opportunity go to waste?!!!!

"Glad you stated it right! It's mine! It's not like I'm going to walk around with a tent in my pants so what's the big deal!!!" She was losing it and this ken guy was the typical guys she hates. She hardly knows him but he just can't get out of her space!

"That means your males can't satisfy you and being around with an arousal means you want other prospect males. All the single males will walk past you with their penises on display to attract you... Do you want to see mine?!" Ken asked making Sydney choke on her Saliva. Throw him out!" she commanded and Caden stood up to send Ken out. He hated to agree to the fact that what Ken said was true.

Surprisingly, Ken left peacefully and Sydney who was still processing the whole thing remained dazed. Tell me he was lying!" she said and looked at Shawn but the poor guys shook his head. It was the truth!

Why would you have to help me?" she asked since she needed a real understanding of this society of beastmen. Caden smiled at her question. "If a male beastman helps his female with the arousal, it does two things. One, the female's arousal is covered by her prospect mate's scent and second, it allows intimacy between mates so that when the heat season arrives, the female is used to being with her mate and mating can be easy for the female." He explained to the best of his knowledge.

"So..if I don't let you guys help me, does that mean other beastmen will come to parade their things?!" she asked as that was what shocked her the most. Surely, she'll suffer from an eye sty if she saw such a scenery.

"Mm." Shawn replied bitterly. He had just gotten lucky...he didn't wish to have competitors he wouldn't beat. He knew the beast god had endowed him well but since he didn't know what other males had, he grew a little bit insecure about himself.
