Long ago, the planets took on the form of humans and started wandering around. Among these was Moon, the embodiment of Earth's moon, and her host planet, Terra, the embodiment of Earth. Moon's loyalty to Terra is undeniable. But there's also a mysterious pull between Moon and Venus, who’s another planetary embodiment. As Moon searches for a way to break the curse on the planets and escape Tory, a small town where they have been trapped, she finds herself drawn to Venus in ways she can't explain. Strangely, Venus has always harbored an unhealthy obsession with Moon, but Moon can't deny the attraction she feels towards him. Perhaps the attention could be good? Moon is torn between her duty to Terra and her growing feelings for Venus. There really isn’t a clean path. As they work together to break the curse, Moon and Venus find themselves drawn to each other more. But what about Terra? Moon feels guilty for the feelings she has for Venus and worries about hurting Terra. Moreover, if her feelings get the better of her, it could be the end for her bond with Terra. The planets could never escape. Venus, however, is determined to pursue his feelings for Moon despite the complications it may cause. Or will definitely cause. As the fog surrounding Tory becomes thicker and time runs out, a choice must be made - will she choose Terra or Venus? Loyalty or love? *read till at least the second chapter before you decide to ditch it pls* *Uhh it's one chapter a day* - EVERY WEEKDAY (Bc I dont type on weekends) I HAVE A CHANNEL NOW !!! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCR6DjAK9vpn_EeDtn4Wr2mw My name at the top got cut out coz it was too big wahhhhhhhhhhhhh
The next day, Moon felt particularly empty. Not that she wasn't happy she had finally met Terra - she was, and the spirits were happy too - but she felt like she had nothing else to do. Terra had returned to her home the next day, and Moon probably wouldn't be able to see her again for a while - but at least she had left a good impression. She was doing good, then. Slowly working her way to her goal. All she had to do was continue acting like a good person. And so here lay Moon, in her bed, on her back, staring at the ceiling, and refusing to move.
One of the water spirits, named Aqua, a delicate water spirit who looked something out of a fairy-tale book, and had manifested into a humanoid shape recently as well, walked up next to her. Even her walk was dripping with grace, and her face was calm and peaceful.
"Hello, Aqua -" Moon began, but she was cut off. Aqua splashed water in her face. Moon instantly sat up, coughing.
"What was that for?!"
Aqua looked at her, face solemn.
"Venus has returned, my lady."
Almost instantly Moon's eyes flew open and she sat up like her life depended on it. She grabbed Aqua's shoulders, which was a bit strange since Aqua was water, and thus there was nothing to grab, but Moon's eyes were so wide and frenzied that she didn't care.
"Aqua! Say that again!" Moon said, and Aqua sighed. "Venus had returned, my lady." Moon stared at her. "What..?" Aqua crossed her arms. Moon slowly sank back into her bed and covered her head with the sheets.
Venus was the worst thing that could happen right now. Venus was the biggest threat to Terra directly - he was a gigantic problem child. Sun had never bothered to do anything - and since Venus was one of the oldest, he had received many, many waves of abuse from her, which, somehow, had caused a descent past sanity. He was nicknamed the 'planet-killer' since he had considered with Ae and Phae to kill Proxima. The planets didn't hear of him a lot - even if he lived in Tory, somehow he was hard to catch - always disappearing for multiple months, sometimes more - but everyone did catch plenty of rumors about him. Furthermore, he was one of only two planets that didn't have a moon, and somehow that bad led him to develop an obsession with Moon, but she was loyal to Terra, who was currently vulnerable.
In other words, a top-notch recipe for disaster.
She had to avoid him at all costs.
"Aqua. I need you to do something." Moon sighed from under the covers. Aqua almost instantly answered, and even though Moon was still covered by sheets, she could imagine the spirit bowing elegantly with a flourish.
"What is it, My Lady?"
"I need you to tell three water spirits to tail Terra. Right now. Don't waste any time."
