Chapter 12 Birthday present

After I done with the shopping.I got a new message, I took out my phone and see who it from and it was from Tina, says that she is free and asking me why I asked and I text her back to meet, tonight.

I knew it was selfish of me to ask her now when ignored her for over five years but my needs are more important than anything else.

"Three silver please." said cloths store lady

"Oh...right. "I replied and pays her in digital currency.

I open my account balance , it shows

' it can take care of couple of months, three atleast.'

[ Tina: sure, see you tonight then. ]

Replied from Tina came.

I put my phone in the pocket and head back home.

I organised kitchen grocery, take out the necessary ingredients for lunch as I was planning to cook dinner myself.

I did several part time jobs and cooking was one of them, so I learned how to cook but the main reason, I was cooking lunch was because my sisters really it.

An hour later, my sisters came home and we had a lunch, they ask about my last night,why and where I spend the night which i didn't answer honestly just give them vague answer with somewhat truth.

' it's not like I can talk about it with them.'

I thought.

After the lunch, we talked about several things, they wanted to know about my awakening, again I gave them half honest answers and patiently wait for day to fall.

Tina and I set her mansion as a meeting place, which I arrived at fifteen minutes earlier before our schedule time and her servant guided me to their guestroom. After few minutes,Tina came in.

"Hufff...you are early julieee.." she was panting as if she rushed here, she was wearing a fancy skirt which makes me think if she's planning to go out, her hair was done in a rushed which didn't effect on her appearance at all she was still cute with her big breast and hourglass figure.

"Were you going somewhere ?"

I asked.

"Hmm? What, why would I go somewhere when I made plans with you?" She answer my question with another question.

"It's just...that you were getting ready for somthing."

Her cheek turned red at my answer.

'what... Is she really doing this for me?'

I thought in suprised.

I mean, the only thing she want for me is my body which she can replace it with girls far more beautiful than me. I didn't pinpoint the exact reason.

"S-sorry for yesterday."

She said without making eye contact to me.

"We didn't be able to spend much... I mean it's your birthday so....sorry"

She apologized again.

"No....it's okay." I replied

'but it's not you were busy or if fucking some chicks, you considered busy then '

I thought.

" S-so, how was your birthday?" She was still flustered which I don't understand and I dare not to ask I was afraid for her reason but today I have my own reason to coming to her. So, I have to make it work no matter how shameless I can be.

"Well, I got birthday present from my sisters."

She said while giving her proud smile. Gesture towards the my shoes.

Her face dropped because of pity as the shoes wasn't luxurious and also because of guilt, that she didn't gave me one.

After the accident of parent, although we don't celebrate birthdays but she always comes to my house with a present but I ignored her, simply because I thought that I can't afford such luxury as I become the family head of my family. So ,I don't think she should be feeling guilty just because of it after what I did to her.

"I-is there something you want?" She asked still not looking at me.

"I want to give it to you as your birthday present."

"There is and something only you can gave me."

I replied. Her eyes-shot towards me as if she given a second chance to redeem herself.

"I...I need a ...crystal stone of D-rank."

I said with hesitation.

She frown, with serious face, she started to think with all her mind capacity.

'of course she would, and why wouldn't she, why do I need a crystal stones and D-Rank at the..' my thoughts cut out as a she speaks.

"I think dad have some in his collections,wait for a moment." She jumps off from the couch and dashed out from the room, without paying attention to me.

"W-wait...." I tried to stop her but she was already gone.

"That's what, she was thinking about."

I murmured. My mind got jumbled with questions by her sudden action.

' Was she trying to considerate to me?'

' Or was she just carefree free?'

But I already knew the answers of all questions for five years at that but I didn't want to admit that she cares about me, I knew that she loved me but I considered that love as just a lust for my body, I did that because I know that I will fall for her, lost in her and drawn myself in her warmth and afraid that I will neglect my sisters.

No, I think I already had feelings that's why I knew that I will get addicted to her.

"Dammit" I said in frustration.

A few minutes later, she came back with a cylindrical crystal that have pointy end.

"Huff... According to the label, this crystal stone is of D-Rank, but we don't know for sure as my dad is non-awakened and he moves his stuff all the time." I explained as she offered me the crystal stone which I didn't take because crystal stones reacts to Hunters as they have sensitivity to Mana.

"Aren't you curious, why I want this?"

I asked.

"Hmm...I do, but you don't have to tell me if don't want to and it's just a birthday gift."

I answered.

I covered my face with both hands, as she reminded me of how sweet she was and still is.

"Jullie? What's wrong?" She asked, worried as if she did something wrong.

"Beside, is it okay for you take things from your.... Dad's collection, you said?" I asked.

"Totally, he has several, so it's okay. In fact won't even realised that something is missing and if he do, he will just give me a new one with higher rank which I don't want so it's better it he didn't found out.ohh, if you want higher level crystal then I can ask him for one...hmm?"

She rambled on, till she saw me smiling to her.

"I need to tell you something."

"But we need some privacy."

I declared.

"W-we can go to my room."

She suggested. As she got up and I followed her.

' I can't ignored her anymore, both her and my feelings.' I solid my resolve, as I keeped eyes on her which she felt but didn't implore and continue to walk to her room.
