CHAPTER 26

Joan guided Sebastian and Leon, who had arrived at Gabby's Palace, to meet Gabby. Sebastian is surprised to learn that Joan is now Gabie's Knight because all he knows is that Prince Emilio said that Joan disappeared a few years ago.

"Where have you been all this time, Joan?" Sebastian said, opening the voice of their silence.

"I was ordered by Her Majesty the Queen to guard the Palace in the forest of death," Joan answered, making Sebastian and Leon surprised.

Sebastian looked at the back of Joan, who was walking in front of him. He felt a different aura than Sebastian felt. Even Leon also felt it.

"Does this have anything to do with Prince Emilio?" Leon asked curiously.

Joan walked away, shaking his head. "No," answered Joan.

"Aren't you Emilio's bodyguard?" This time it was Sebastian who asked.

"Yes, but that was then, Sir. After Prince Emilion said he would follow Her Majesty the Queen, I became part of Her Majesty the Queen." Joan answered without looking up.

"I don't understand why Prince Emilio is Queen Gabby's subordinate," Sebastian said, following Joan.

Joan was silent and stopped in front of the door. Joan held the doorknob but stopped looking at Sebastian and Leon for a moment. "Master, do you believe in Reincarnation?" asked Joan looking at them.

They looked at each other, and they looked very confused by Joan's question.

Joan smiled faintly at their reaction, and he opened the door to see a girl who was none other than the Queen staring out the window.

"Your Excellency."

"Joan," Gabby smiled back. "Come have tea together," Gabby called the three of them in.

The atmosphere in the room was very awkward, especially Leon and Sebastian, who were nervous to start a conversation.

"Joan after Emilio, maybe he needs some help," said Gabby, breaking the silence. Joan nodded and bowed respectfully, leaving the three of them.

Gabby walked to the Window and looked out. "Are Mia and Grandma okay?" Gabby asked. "I've only seen them a few times." she continued turning to them and smiling.

Gabby's words took Sebastian and Leon by surprise. "Older sister!" Leon said, holding back his tears.

"Yes, brother," Gabby replied with a gentle smile.

Leon immediately got up from his chair and rushed to hug Gabby. "Sis Ella... Sis Ella." Leon said in Gabby's tight embrace.

Leon seemed to be sobbing in Gabby's arms, and Gabby rubbed Leon's back, which was now bigger than Gabby's size. Occasionally Gabby gently stroked Leon's head.

Sebastian couldn't hold back his tears, and he slowly approached Leon and Gabby. He extended his hand and smiled at Sebastian. Sebastian hugged Leon and Gabby tightly and burst into tears. After they hugged, they sat back down.

"Where have you been all this time, honey?" asked Sebastian because he never found Gabby during the search.

"Ella lives with Grandpa Albert and Grandma Liliana," Gabby replied. "They adopted Ella as their granddaughter." she continued.

"Why did you never say it, Sis," said Leon. "Are they, sis?" continued Leon looking at the Painting on the wall.

Gabby and Sebastian turned to the Painting. "Yes," Gabby answered shortly.

"I'm sorry, grandpa, Leon." she turned to Leon and Sebastian.

Sebastian shook his head. "No, dear, Grandpa is glad you're doing well," Sebastian said. "Grandfather wants to thank them, can you meet them?" Sebastian asked.

Gabby's face turned sad. "They are gone," Gabby replied sadly.

"Sorry, Grandpa didn't mean to make you sad," Sebastian said, rubbing Gabby's head. Gabby just nodded and smiled.

"Sis, Mother..." Leon's words stopped for a moment. "Mom misses you too." he continued sadly. Gabby turned her face towards the window when Leon said to her mother.

Sebastian, who saw Gabby, could also feel what he was feeling. "Honey, forgive your mother. She has changed." Sebastian said. Gabby was silent for a moment.

"Ella will meet Mom, but not now, Grandpa."

Leon nodded in agreement with Gabby. "Okay," Sebastian said. Finally, they chatted for a long time while releasing a longing that had been buried for a long time.

"Shushu"

Shushu turned to the person who called out to him. "What!" Shushu replied, showing a sullen face.

"Hey, why are you frowning like that. Your beauty is running away." Baba replied, teasing Shushu.

Shushu raised an eyebrow. "What!" Shushu replied lazily once again.

Baba came closer and pinched Shushu's cheek. "Tsk… you are. There are no sweets." Baba said.

Shushu pushed Baba's hand away. "Tch… what do you want?" asked Shushu, looking fierce.

Baba laughed, seeing Shushu's ferocity, and he thought it was adorable. "Come closer, and I have something to say," Baba said, bringing his face close to Shushu's ear.

Shushu instead walked away from Baba. "Just tell me how hard it is," Shushu replied, holding Baba's body.

Baba took a deep breath. "It's about miss, and I don't want others to hear about it," Baba said seriously.

Shushu was very curious if it was about Gabby, she couldn't help but put her ear to Baba's lips.

"Let's Get Married," Baba whispered as he breathed into Shushu's ear.

Shushu immediately pulled her head away from Baba and hugged her shuddering body. "You…" Shushu pointed at Baba.

Baba laughed at Shushu's red face. "Sorry, Sorry," Baba said, putting his hands together.

Shushu, who was annoyed at Baba's teasing, was about to leave Baba, but Shushu's hand was pulled by Baba, causing her to fall into Baba's arms. Shushu looked at Baba's light blue Pupils, which fascinated her.

"Sorry, I'm serious this time," Baba said, still holding Shushu's body. Baba brought his Head closer, whispering something to Shushu.

Immediately the aura of the Demon Goddess Shushu burst out hearing what Baba whispered. The color of Shushu's pupils turning blood red indicated that she was already furious.

The entire palace felt an aura so thick that it made several female servants faint. Sebastian and Leon felt the powerful aura made them weak and couldn't stand up.

As Leon and Sebastian gasped for the Aura they were feeling, Gabby stood up and turned to the door. Gabby waved her hand, releasing Light and forming a Barrier for Sebastian and Leon so they could breathe normally.

"Shushu," Gabby muttered as she left Leon and Sebastian.

Baba, still holding Shushu's body, suppressed Shushu's dense Aura to disappear spontaneously. Shushu was shocked that his Aura was suppressed by Baba and glared at Baba.

"Shushu," Gabby called. "What is it, Shushu?" asked Gabby seeing Baba and Shushu still hugging each other. Baba and Shushu immediately let go of their embrace and turned to Gabby.

Shushu trotted over to Gabby and clung to Gabby's arms. "Miss, let me lead the troops during the war," Shushu asked.

Gabby looked at Shushu confusedly and turned to Baba, and Baba just smiled, bowing his head to Gabby.

"Miss went to the Empire with Scarla and Baba alone," said Shushu.

"Okay," Gabby replied with a sigh. Shushu immediately smirked after getting permission from Miss.
