Danger -- Going North

Emma grimaced. He gnashed his teeth and stared at the Flamingrus with a squinted brow. But when he saw the alarming info on his helmet screen.

He forgets the Flamingrus threat and his skull tinged. 'This can't be happening.' He took a couple of steps back from the Flamingrus and asked Zeus.

"Threat Level"

The Flamingru snorted and jumped forward, leaving a trail of smoke behind. The heavy momentum from the swings of his scythe fell on Emma. Hmm? Emma raised his brow, taking a couple of steps backward, avoiding the attack by an inch.

Without looking at the Flamingru, Emma's spear snake toward the Flamingru in an impossible position. The Flamingru blinked his eyes and the wide grin on his face disappeared.

He tried to defend Emma's sudden attack, but it was too late. How could he notice that small opening in my attack?

Emma's spear lodge deep inside the waist side of the Flamingrus. The Flamingru grimace in pain and took a couple of steps backward. Emma creased his brow, watching the drop in the Flamingru HP.

'Is this a game or what?' He thought with his heart racing. His muscle constricted and a frigid breath escape from his lips.

"I have to give it to you. You are strong. But not strong enough to defeat us." The Flamingru announced with a blank expression.

He looked at his teammate beside him and nodded. At once, two Flamingrus rushed toward Emma on both sides, waving their deadly scythe, going for a kill.

Inside Emma's helmet. He saw the trajectory of the attack. Zeus showed the optimum path to avoid the attack and a position to attack the three Flamingrus at the same time.

Emma didn't have any change in expression. Instead of retreating, he dashed toward the attack while his step was never too fast nor too slow.

He maneuver the attack skillfully, leaving the Flamingrus aghast. Emma spear danced in his hand. He attacked the closet enemy, going for the heart.

The second Flamingru widened his eyes. The flame on its body swayed and his yellow pupil dilated. A gush of air rushed to it heart. He wanted to move his body, but his body failed to respond on time. Ah!

He withdrew his attacked and perform a cartwheel, appearing in front of the last Flamingrus. Before the Flamingrus could raise his weapon.

A sudden shortwave spread throughout his body. His body crack and the flame on his body swayed and dimmed. Emma's powerful punch sent him flying in the sky with loud howling coming from his mouth.

Emma's face was devoid of any emotion. He prepared to rush toward the injured Flamingrus when his body failed to respond to his body.

"What!" Emma snapped. He saw the others retreating quickly with a dejected look. Though they haven't killed the Flamingrus. They are not losing. They glance at Emma, waiting for his command.

Suddenly, a loud voice reverberated throughout the sky. "7 minutes remaining." Follow by the tolling of the bell.

The atmosphere was quiet and everyone's eyes was raised up at the sky. A sudden heaviness descended on at the surrounding. The Flamingrus and Emma's team stared at each other for a moment.

Ah! The Flamingrus dash toward Emma's team with their flames burning like never before, leaving a trail of smoke behind.

"Retreat!" Emma commanded. 'We need to solve this fucking time bomb on our head.' He cursed with gnashed teeth.

"Coward." The leader of the Flamingrus shouted, looking at the retreating Emma's team in disdain. "Let go and picked the Alizda mark."
