"Where... is it?!" The Jester's petulant tantrum stunned the security guards, Seething Vipers, and casino guests within the Meister's Casino. They lined up in an orderly fashion, basking in the chaos that ran rampant throughout the multi-million dollar opulence, and how it showed its true colors after explosions and deaths stormed the area. The Jester split the crowd down through the center and paced through the middle, aiming her old-century Colt M1911 pistol at everyone she strolled past.
"Do you know where it is? Huh? Do you?" The Jester asked three suited casino guests whose heads were facing down, scared senseless of the Jester's appearance and interrogation tactics. She slapped one of them in the cheek and fired a bullet into their foot. The guards, vipers, and other customers jolted upward in shock at the sound of the bullet with the cries of despair coming after. "No, you don't, because you're fucking useless!"
The Jester twisted her head, affected by the twisted persona that embodied her mind. A figment of her imagination in the form of a young girl swept past her legs and rushed toward the crowd, giggling. "Not you..." The Jester exhaled. "He... he believed in me! And I believed in all of you. And I am going to look like a fucking idiot if one of you motherfuckers don't tell me where it is."
Silence and tension followed.
"No?" The Jester fumed smoke out of her nostrils, pacing back toward the first few Seething Vipers that she passed earlier. "I don't... I don't seem to understand the fucking problem. Are all of you standing here with the thought that you would walk away tonight without telling me what happened here? Hmm?"
"Madam... the perpetrators slipped-" One of the guards brought up.
The Jester rushed toward the guard at lightning speed, smacking him directly in the side of the neck and dragging him down with a single hand. "Go on then," She began, shaking furiously at the madness enveloping her numbing mind. "Say it."
"I... madam..."
"SAY IT!" The Jester roared.
"The perpetrators... slipped through us..." The guard whimpered, pushed by the pressure of the Jester's hand. "They came disguised as armed patrons and escaped."
"And what, you don't have fucking eyes to tell them apart?" The Jester joked, shrugging her shoulders and spinning around to highlight the guard's visible stupidity. Without another word, the Jester spun back and fired a bullet through the guard's skull, executing him on the spot. "Nope. Lame. You know what, we're gonna stand here until one of you has the balls to tell me where my fucking extractor is!"
"Call Daddy. Call Daddy." The little girl figment whispered into her ear. The Jester swiped against the invisible spirit, snarling at her inner demoness that absconded her pride to handle her situations independently.
"No, no, no... I will not do so even if my life holds me to it..." The Jester cried, pummeling her head with the butt of her pistol. The other guests thought it not to question her insanity, wanting to survive their punishment if possible. "No fucking way is daddy going to solve my problems! So that means I'll just kill every single one of you until one of you tells me the truth!"
"N-no," A family of casino customers collapsed on the ground, kneeling and praying the Jester to not take their life. The patriarch of the family sobbed, praying to God for life and sustenance. "Please, God. Please spare us. Please spare us!"
"Oh? What's this?" The Jester moved toward the family. "There's no God here. If God led people to die, then you've entrusted the wrong person in charge of your health. If God wants you to live, then perhaps he's the dumbest motherfucker in the world," The Jester stepped on the back of the patriarch, squirming her foot to dehumanize the family with a grin on her face. "I am the God now. And I'm in charge of your life-"
"Madam," A Seething Viper called as it touched down from the caved-in ceiling. He saluted the Jester and straightened his posture. The filter of his plague doctor mask muffled his voice. "An unknown explosive detonated at the Pisces penthouse. Your trap caught another intruder at the party. It was a woman with short blonde hair, fairly tall. Is she the woman you're looking for?"
The Jester rammed the base of her foot against the patriarch's face, kicking herself off, and approached the viper. She placed her pistol in her holster, scowling at the information given. "Where is she?"
"She escaped," The viper replied, bowing in respect. "There was a man with a suit who saved her. Tall, black hair. He had speed, unlike anything we had ever seen. We were unable to capture the both of them-"
"Oh, wow...! Can you vipers do anything fucking right?" The Jester cackled, spinning around as her eyes widened in intensity. She groaned, placing her hands around her neck to twist it. She shuddered at the figment of imagination taking flight around her, revealing herself to be a grown-up version of Claire chuckling pitilessly behind her. "And you... you let the girl getaway? You let Claire get away!?"
"Claire?" The viper was puzzled. "I don't understand, madam-"
The Jester slapped the viper across the face, stunning him momentarily. Additional Seething Vipers fell from the ceiling, touching down next to the Jester with a faithful salute and bow. "I know exactly how to draw her out," The Jester mumbled to herself before turning toward her vipers. "Find the Seraphians. Gather them in the Albastor Pavillion, behind the courthouse in Kathuz. We will lure our heroess out, even if it means making a public reveal."
"But madam, there are innocent lives-" One of the viper's mentioned.
"I DON'T CARE!" The Jester screamed, backhanding the viper and pummeling it to the ground. "Do you think I give a flying fuck about what happens to innocent lives? She has my extractor! She's the one who took it! That bitch is gonna get what she deserves, and I'm going to finish her off nice and easy!" The Jester then began panicking, colliding with the guests around her as the others watched. She pressed her hands against her cheeks and playfully sobbed. "She's... she's tormenting me. She, who knows better of all, better than family, better than this world!"
"Yes, madam!" The viper kneeled down and bowed to her once more.
"Find the fucking Seraphians and bring them to the pavilion," The Jester commanded before stomping on the floor in a childish tantrum. "NOW! NOW, NOW, NOW, NOW, NOW!"
The Seething Vipers nodded in understanding and dispersed. Only a handful of them stayed. The Jester made way for the exit, twitching her eyes and hands seeking vengeance. One of the vipers approached her on the opposite side, bowing. "Madam, what about the customers and the guards?" It asked.
"Kill them all." The Jester ordered.
Panged screams of despair immediately surged the desolate casino as the Jester gave the orders. The remaining Seething Vipers approached the crowd as they attempted to escape, armed with their poisonous serrated blades. Their swiftness caught up to everyone in the establishment as they ran for their dear lives, executing them for their cowardly mistakes. The Jester walked out the front door, licking her lips with her elongated tongue as the horrendous screams serenaded her aura.
