Chapter 29: The Fastest Alive

  Minato was holding his special kunai in his hand with Mirio standing in front of him. Mirio laughed, "My team is down a lot of people so it's up to me to keep my team going strong!" Minato mentioned, "You look like a good guy, I hope we can end this quickly." Mirio smirked before running towards Minato when suddenly he sunk underneath the stage. Minato's eyes widened when suddenly Mirio popped out in front of Minato. Mirio punched Minato who blocked using his forearm, sending him across the stage. Mirio landed on the stage before smirking. Minato asked, "What kinda of power was that?" Mirio chuckled, "If this wasn't a tournament, I'd totally tell you. It's really hard to explain anywa-." Mirio was cut off by Minato's kunai flying through his face. Mirio laughed, "Heh heh, that won't work on me." Minato was behind Mirio when he mentioned, "Oh trust me, I know." Minato touched Mirio's back, placing his technique formula on his back. Mirio gasped before turning around and throwing a punch at Minato who kicked off his fist. Minato flipped onto the stage before running towards Mirio who gasped as he he back stepped. How'd he know about my quirk! Minato tried to kick Mirio who dodged by a mere inch before multiple punching and kicking Minato. Mirio's fist phased through Minato's leg allowing him to punch him in the chest. Minato tumbled across the stage before springing up to his feet. Minato laughed, "Yup, it took a few more blows then I'd want but I know exactly how to defeat you." Mirio chuckled, "I'll admit, it's impressive that you were able to figure out how my quirk works but it would be impossible for you to defeat me!" Minato mumbled, "Its just like that time with Obito, but more pure." Mirio exclaimed, "If you're so sure about you're victory against me then try this!" Mirio sunk underneath the stage again but he almost immediately shot right up into the air. Minato studying Mirio's movement until he finally figured it out. He phasing through objects to build up speed and-! Minato sidestepped away from an incoming Mirio punch which cracked the stage. Accuracy! Mirio was rapidly repelling himself in and out of objects around him building up more and more speed. Mirio shouted, "This is the end!" Mirio launched himself towards Minato, punching him in his chest. Minato turned into a piece of the stage surprising Mirio entirely. Minato was behind Mirio when he stated, "Its called Substitution Justu, I swapped my body with a neat object in the blink of an eye."

  Minato kicked Mirio away and while he was in midair Minato threw his kunai. Minato appeared next to Mirio, axe kicking him into the stage. Mirio coughed up spit as Minato thought to himself. He's losing focus because he's never been in the losing end of a fight. Welp, hopefully this will teach him! Mirio tried to grab Minato who flipped away while throwing his kunai at Mirio. The kunai traveled through Mirio's face causing him to quickly turn around. Minato kicked Mirio in his back, pushing him to the stage. Minato mentioned, "I can teleport to the location of my kunai at will, it isn't forced." Mirio tried to sweep kick Minato who appeared behind Mirio, uppercutting him in the jaw. Minato threw his kunai at Mirio who slightly dodged it in midair. Minato appeared behind Mirio, catching the kunai in slow motion before swinging it at Mirio.

  Blood splattered across the stage before Minato and Mirio landed on their feet. Mirio was in a blocking stance as blood dripped from his right arm. Minato advised, "You're strong, but I'm faster than you. Please surrender." Mirio panted, "Are you kidding me, why would I give up in the heat of the moment? I know you aren't allowed to kill me, so why not go out giving it, my very best?" Minato gripped his kunai while sighing, "Very well, I'll give you the elimination you so very deserve." Minato started running towards Mirio while thinking. Who ever attacks an instant quicker than the other, will win this match! Mirio began running towards Minato while thinking. He thinks I'm going to go straight forward but he's wrong! Minato flipped his kunai into the air while Mirio right through Minato's entire body. Mirio stomped his foot into the stage in order to pivot with his arm cocked back. Minato disappeared as Mirio threw his punch making his eyes widen in utter shock. Minato appeared above Mirio, catching his kunai with a Rasengan in his hand. He thought I wouldn't predict him running straight through me, but I thought well ahead of that. Now it's over! Minato dived down with his Rasengan making Mirio gasp. Minato's attack was inches away from Mirio's head when suddenly Minato appeared in front of Mirio instantly. Minato palmed Mirio's chest with the massive blue ball of wind sending him flying off the stage. Mirio groaned as he fell into the darkness eventually landing in the bleachers.

  Mirio gasped, "W-Wait what, how did he-?!" Minato could be heard explaining, "I knew a surprise attack from above would alert you enough that'd you allow me to phase through. That's why I dropped the kunai as soon as I caught it, that allowed me to attack from your blind spot. If I had been one second late, I would've failed miserably but rest assured my plan worked." Mirio smiled as he sat back in his seat while laughing, "Wow, he adjusted to my quirk so fast. No one has ever found a counter attack against my quirk that fast. That fight encouraged me to train harder in order to be able to defeat any opponent in my path of the number one hero!" Deku chuckled while thinking to himself. Wow, even Mirio got eliminated. That goes to show you there's a whole bunch of different opponents all across the universe. This tournament has inspired me to work harder too!

*Now before you all get in my ass, if you read my message board you'd know I was getting eliminated by school. So I don't wanna here it, what am I talking about lol. I don't have a fan base lol, but I do have a couple of loyal readers that I greatly appreciate with all my heart. Expect a major grind for here until Sunday.
