As the sound ninja dosu was about to kill Sakura with his Kunai a

*clang*

Rang out as dosu was launched backwards back towards the other two sound nin. "Thanks for letting us figure out your jutsu." Sasuke's voice echoed into the ears around the clearing.

"Yes and your weakness." Sai's voice followed

"Sasuke, sai when…" Sakura's question trailed off as she let a smile overcome her fears.

"So you two were faking it this hole time?" Dosu asked

"Yes, we wanted to see how your jutsu's work and how to find their weaknesses." Sai replied

"Weakness our jutsu have none." Zaku shouted out arrogantly.

"Don't be so cocky your sound jutsu is just a different type of wind jutsu. Your weakness is the same." Sasuke stated as he and sai went through hand seals. As they finished a large gust of wind emanated from sai's palm as a sasuke breathed out a large fire ball that took the form of a dragon in front of sasuke. Combining the wind jutsu was engulfed into the fire dragon as the fire dragon tripled in size.

"Shit." Zaku shouted as he blasted his sound waves at the fire.

"Idiot stop." Dosu shouted as he dove behind a tree.

As zaku's sound waves hit the fire dragon it only increased in size. "Dumbass!" Kin shouted as she dodged out of the way and tried running away.

As the fire dragon blazed a path through where the sound genin were sasuke and sai waited for the flames to die down. "You think we got them?" Sai asked

"No, zaku used his air waves to soften up the ground and burrowed down with dosu, I do y know about the girl." Sasuke replied while his three tomoe sharingan spun. Than turning to the side and looking up he spoke out "you can come out now."

A few seconds later there was some ruffling in the tree he was looking at before two figures dropped down. It was tenten and neji as neji spoke they walked towards the downed Lee. "We're here to pick up our teammate uchiha."

Nodding sasuke let them grab Lee as he turned to look at some other bushes "you three come out as well." He stated

Walked out of the bushes was team ten. "Sasuke that was so cool." Ino shouted as she tried to jump on him, but he just moved out of the way.

Looking around sai asked "where is Naruto?" As he finished Sakura flinched. "Sakura?"

"I….uh…well he stayed behind to fend off that crazy ninja." Sakura lied

"What we have to go back." Sasuke spoke while looking around with his sharingan.

"We can't!" Sakura yelled in panic "if we do we all die."

"Remember what sensei taught us 'while those who break the rules of the ninja world are scum, but those who abandon their friends are worse than scum" Sasuke rebuffed

"Sasuke it's been two days, he's either dead or he got away." Sakura spoke while looking down.

"Two days?" Sai asked

"Yes you two passed out from chakra exhaustion, and your injuries." Sakura stated

Clenching his fists sasuke nodded begrudgingly. "Fine let's go to the tower." He finally bit out.

"Let's travel together." Shikamaru stated.

"Why?" Asked sasuke while on guard 'could they want our scroll. "Also we still need a scroll."

"Not true, Naruto gave me one of his." Sakura lied again.

"Why would he do that?" Asked ino

"Because of his crush on me obviously." Sakura replied as she gave sasuke the heaven scroll she took from Naruto.

While they were talking Shikamaru narrowed his eyes at Sakura 'something isn't right.' He thought

As they finished talking neji, tenten, and the passed out Lee left into the trees.

*in the trees*

As neji and his team entered the tree tops he stopped on a branch. "You know they're talking about you." He stated to seemingly no one.

Walking out of a shadowed corner naruto stopped next to neji. "Ya, but I'm not in the mood for drama. I just want to get this exam over with so I can get my money and go to bed." Naruto replied as tenten looked at the bloody and serious Naruto in both confusion.

"Who are you?" She asked

"Hmm oh me, I'm Naruto uzumaki son of Kushina uzumaki konohas red death." Naruto stated with a smirk.

"Your her child." Tenten gasped as she dug into her pocket. "Yes, yes I see it now you have her face and last name." She added as she stared at a card she pulled out. Turning it around she showed neji and Naruto what the card showed. "Kushina uzumaki AKA konohas red death. She caught in the second and third shinobi wars, she was a jonin by 14 and anbu at 15. She was also a fuinjutsu master that could rival the yondaime, and a kenjutsu master. Unfortunately she…"

"Died during the kyuubi attack." Naruto finished interrupting tenten. 'Dammit why am I telling them this.' Naruto thought inwardly

'It's the curse mark brat it's affecting your personality, that vile chakra is messing with your head. I'm offsetting most of the corruption by burning the chakra away, but I'm also trying not to kill you or erode the evil sealing method.' The kyuubi answered him.

'Damm so I'm going to need more control over my emotions.' Naruto thought as he looked back at tenten and neji. 'Ok damage control.' He thought before speaking "ya and I'd like it if you two could keep this quiet, I'd rather not have to deal with the fan girls and other responsibilities that come with being a clan head just yet."

"Clan head?" Tenten asked

'Shit I made it worse.' Naruto cursed in his mind much to the amusement of the kyuubi.

'Haha dumbass.' The kyuuubi laughed out

'Shut it fox.' Naruto thought before speaking again. "Yes I'm the uzumaki clan head, as well as the last known male uzumaki."

At that neji winced "you have my condolences."

"Mine as well it must suck to be the last." Tenten added

"Ya it sucks, but I luckily don't have to follow the CRA." Naruto replied "anyways this is where we part, I'll be seeing you at the tower." As Naruto finished he disappeared in a burst of speed. After going away from team nine Naruto stopped on a branch while looking down, seeing the sound kunoichi laying down on the ground holding her broken and burnt arm he smirked 'oh what do we have here.' He thought as he dropped down.
