ANBU NARUTO

(AN: hello this is my second fan-fic and I'm still not that good at writing but bear with me on this story. I've had it in the back of my mind since I started my first fan-fic. So enjoy and leave comments on what you like and what you don't so I can improve.)

*hokages office*

"Let me get this straight you want me to allow this to happen?" Asked an old and tied voice

"Yes I want to show you why he should join my corps." Replied a monotone voice that held no emotion. It also had both feminine and masculine inflections preventing anyone from knowing the gender of the individual.

"I won't let him join your corps he's not ready. He's just a kid let him have a childhood." Replied the old voice in a stricter tone

"Kids aren't found beaten and bloody in alleyways hiruzen. You've already failed him enough times I'm taking him." The monotone voice sounded out again but even with the emotionless tone you could somehow still feel the anger behind the individual.

"No kakashi has already taken him along with the last uchiha. I'm ordering you to stand down." Replied the old man

"Kakashi, your giving him to that fucking idiot. We both know how that will play out he'll only train the boy enough to be a rival for his uchiha student. He never got over loosing Obito he'll focus on sasuke and leave Naruto scrolls or just tell him to go work on teamwork." The monotone voice called out before stepping into the light revealing a dragon masked anbu. "Think hiruzen, your letting personal feeling cloud your judgment. If this keeps up we will loose our jinchuuriki. You already failed your promise to minato and Kushina, to keep him safe." Seeing the stubbornness in the old man's eyes the dragon masked anbu took in a breath before continuing "fine a bet than if he's able to steal the scroll and beat mizuki than I take him. If he fails I back off and won't ask again until or if he makes chunin."

Indecision showing in his eyes the old man replied after a minute of thought. "Deal."

"Good now you can use your little crystal ball to watch the kid I'm going to watch him up close. Also look at the monument old man he can paint the monument without anyone the wiser in bright fucking orange. Imagine him in actual stealth clothes." By the end dragon disappeared into a retreating shadow as the sun rose washing away the the cover of the night.

The old man turned to the window seeing the painted hokage monument and a small blond kid wearing bright orange. 'Fucking terrifying.' Was his thoughts as he imagined the blond who had a stealth ability rivaling those of his jonin that specialized in it, when the boy wasn't even trained. 'Kami help us if he gets stealth training and better clothes.'

*hokages monument*

"GOOD MORNING KONOHA!" Screamed the blond as civilians and shinobi alike looked up and widened their eyes.

"DAMM IT NARUTO GET DOWN HERE!" Screamed some jonin

Seeing there was ganna be a chase the blind now named Naruto cut a rope activating a reverse pully system making him fall at a controlled speed. As he lined up with the rooftops he jumped off the small wooden plank that he was standing on. Landing on a roof with a roll as two chunin landed on the opposite side. Grinning Naruto yelled out "CATCH ME IF YOU CAN!" Before keeping to the rooftop ti the right.

"DAMMIT WE'LL GET YOU THIS TIME!" Screened one of the chunin.

"Come on if we catch him we take home the winners pot for catching Naruto." Stated the other as they grinned and took off.

As they gave chase a deer masked anbu came out of a corner "haha the kids at it again."

"Ya and this is his biggest prank yet." Replied a owl masked anbu as he stared up at the hokage monument

"Hmm you got a point wish dragon-sama would let us join in on that catch Naruto pot bet going on." Replied a female cat masked anbu as she joined the other two.

"Yes but if we did imagine if we didn't catch him. The kids got to many tricks up his sleeves and grew up in the streets he knows them and where all his little traps are. We know where a few are due to being on his guard detail sometimes but the other anbu teams won't tell us where his other traps are and I don't want my anbu uniform dowsed in bright orange paint." Spoke a lion masked anbu as he joined the other three anbu.

"Or glue and feathers." Replied deer.

"It would be a good exercise for trap evading and tracking though." Added owl

"Hmm your all right. But don't worry you'll have your chance to go and catch him soon, we'll that is if everything goes to plan. Now follow me I have specific instructions for all of you tomorrows going to be a interesting day." Announced a dragon masked anbu as he walked out from behind a wall.

"Dragon-sama" the anbu announced as they stood straight and formed up in a line.

"Relax and follow." Repeated the dragon masked anbu as he walked away.

Back with Naruto we see that he now has multiple chunin and a few jonin keeping their speed in check to make it fair as some had smiles while others looked serious or mad. As Naruto jumped down onto the street and disappeared into an ally way the chunin infront seeing how close he was sped around the corner without thinking and were immediately blasted with orange paint. The others more cautious slowly peaked the corner. Seeing the blond jump up back to the roofs they followed him up.

Jumping into another ally Naruto hid under the ledge of the roof as the chunin in front went down and to the left or right. Some getting caught up in wires and ropes. One of them looked back up and yelled "HES UP THERE!"

Seeing his position was blown he swung back up to the roof. Met with the sight of two grinning jonin he just ginned back as two round objects fell from his coat. "SMOKE BOMBS GET HIM!" One of the jonin screamed as they jumped at Naruto.

The smoke bombs went off as the jonin grabbed Naruto and dragged him across the roof and out of the smoke. But before the jonin could celebrate looking down instead of Naruto was a chunin. "HAHA WRONG PERSON!" Screamed a voice from a few roofs away.

The two jonin now joined by the hand full of remaining chunin looked over and saw the blond waving at them from a ways away. "THERE HE IS GET HIM!" One chunin yelled.

While they jumped after the blond one of the jonin looked at the other and asked "how'd he do that so quick."

"I don't know body replacement with the chunin. You know what he is and heard what the sensors said his chakra level makes the sandaime's chakra look like a academy student." Replied the other

"Ya with that much chakra it wouldn't be hard to just overpower even our chakra and use a body replacement on us." Added the first jonin.

As they went into the distance another anbu walked out of a corner this one wearing a rhino mask "hmm chunin level speed, anbu level stealth, jonin level in traps, can execute the body replacement jutsu without hand seals." Than looking at a air vent he continued. "If only his taijutsu wasn't absolutely shit. Oh ya and also he can execute a true henge without hand seals." As he finished he threw a kunai at the air vent.

The ring side hitting the air vent a "OWE SHIT!" Was hard as the air vent turned into Naruto while he rubbed his forehead as a red bump was quickly healing. "How I was I. The smoke and I placed a fake air vent there before replacing it."

"I'm a sensor and you have absolutely no chakra control. Your like a shining beacon for any sensor or anyone sensitive to chakra." Replied the anbu as he added "also your shit at dodging that kunai was thrown at chunin level you could of blocked it."

"Haha well I didn't see it coming." Replied the blond while his ever present smile was on his face.

Seeing the smile that looked so real but he knew wasn't the anbu sighed before speaking "schools already started iruka will be coming for you soon. Tomorrow is the final exams at least try."

"I do try it's just the clone jutsu that I can't get no matter how hard I try dattebayo" exclaimed the blond as the anbu saw his mask fall for a moment before he regained the happy smile "But don't worry I trained really hard this time I'll get it."

Seeing this the anbu just gave an encouraging nod while thinking 'sorry kid but without amazing chakra control there's no way you'll ever be able to do the basic clone jutsu. It just takes to little chakra for someone with beyond kage level reserves.'

Than feeling iruka enter his sensor range he added "see ya kid good luck with the exam." While thinking 'and I hope you can one day go around without that happy mask.' Before disappearing in a burst of speed.
