First test

(AN: still getting over the jet lag from the plane rides so this chapter might be a little fucked.)

"Now you candidates from the village hidden in the sound knock it off. You want to be failed before we've even begun?" Ibiki yelled out

"Sorry it's our first time we're a little jumpy." The lead sound ninja exclaimed.

"I'll only say this once their will be no battles in this first exam so anyone caught fighting will be expelled." Ibiki stated to the room. "Now it's time to start the exam hand in your paperwork. In return you'll each be given a number this will determine where you will sit. We will start the written test once your all seated."

'Alright finally, now onto the side mission dragon gave me. Where is that red head?' Naruto thought as he looked around. 'Dragon said she was from grass and was an uzumaki.' Finding a bright red head among the sea of brown, grey, and black heads his eyes hardened. 'Please join us I don't want to have to kill you.' He thought as he went over his orders in his head.

*a few minutes later*

Taking his seat naruto sat next to the red haired girl and hinata. Thinking over his options he decided for a more direct approach but not to obvious of one. Looking at the red head for a little to long the girl sent a glare his way "what do you want leaf nin?" She asked

Acting shy and blushing he looked away before looking back while diverting his eyes. "Sorry it's just your hair it's beautiful. My mom had the same color hair dattaboyo."

Blinking a few times the girl also blushed. "Oh umm thanks. You really like it most say I look like a tomato."

"Of course I do." Naruto replied as he held out his hand "I'm Naruto uzumaki."

As the last name hit her she froze as she looked straight into his eyes. Taking in a long breath she closed her eyes as Naruto felt something flow into him. After a second the girl opened her eyes and in a low tone replied "hi naruto I'm Karin uzumaki." Making Naruto's eyes widen in surprise.

"Wit that means your part of the clan, but why are you in grass?" Naruto asked in a whisper

"I don't know, but my mom said that grass was safer than the leaf because no one would expect us to hide there." Karin replied

"Is your mom still alive?" Naruto asked

Looking down as a tear formed in the corner of her eye Karin shook her head. "No she died after the grass nin used her to much."

As she finished Naruto felt an intense amount of blood lust form from within him. As his one blue eye turned into a crimson slit he asked "they did what to her?" Through a low growl.

"Me and my mom have the healing chakra of the uzumaki clan. We can heal people if they bite us." She replied as she rolled up her sleeve revealing multiple bite marks. "They used my mom till she dried up."

Looking around the room naruto found all nine grass nin than asked "you got any friends in grass."

Shaking her head again she replied "no I'm all alone. They all see me as just a mobile healing bank."

"I see well than I guess your luck has finally come." Naruto replied as he took the girl in for a hug. "As uzumaki clan head I hear-by accept Karin uzumaki into my clan. And give you full amnesty within konoha's walls." Than whispering into her ears he spoke "I'll meet you in the forest, act normal till I come and get you." As he placed a tracking seal on her. She returned the hug and nodded into his arms as she whispered thank you over and over. While Naruto thought 'now I just have to kill a few of these grass nin. How dare they treat my clan like this.'

'YES LETS BURN THEIR VILLAGE TO THE GROUND!' The kyuubi exclaimed in the mind scape

Narrowing his eye naruto thought 'maybe, but I'll have to ask dragon-sama.'

Clicking his tongue kyuubi spoke 'fine but if they let us than your letting me take control for a little.'

'Deal but don't kill any friendly's or civilians.' Naruto replied as he cut off the mental connection.

"I didn't know you had a clan Naruto." Hinata spoke from his left.

"Ah, right umm well don't tell anyone it's supposed to be a secret. I was the last of my clan well at least till now." Naruto whispered to hinata making her nod shyly.

"Alright everyone shut up and eyes up front." Ibiki yelled out getting the genins attention. " there are a few rules, first rule the written exam is conducted on a point reduction system. You all begin the test with a perfect score of ten points. One point will be deducted for each answer you get wrong. The second rule is teams will pass or fail based on the final score of all three members of each team. Rule number three the chunins you see posted around the room are there to watch you carefully for any signs of cheating. For any incident they spot they will subtract two points from the culprits score. The final question will be given out ten minutes before the end of the exam, you have three hours NOW BEGIN!"

Flipping over his test Naruto looked at the questions deadpanning he gave a dry look at Ibiki who just gave him a smirk. Looking down he read *where's my money you little shit. Don't give me my money by the end of the test and I'll sick anko on you.* groaning and slamming his head on the table naruto went over his options till an idea hit him. Flipping his test back over naruto watched as hinata activated her byakugan and sasuke activated his sharIngan. The one tails jinchuuriki had a sand eyeball floating around. Then there was a ninja wire pully system connected to a mirror on the roof while the girl with panda ears looked at it and controlled it. 'Well now it's my time.' Naruto thought as he got up while loudly moving his chair. Walking up to the front while all of the genins eyes were on him naruto stopped infront of Ibiki. Reaching into his pocket he pulled out a roll of money. "Can I offer you a deal?" Naruto asked while his eye twitched making Ibiki smirk knowingly.

"Sure what do you want?" Ibiki asked

"The answers for this." Naruto replied while holding out the money.

Taking the money Ibiki hummed before replying "hmm nope now go back to your seat."

Letting out a frustrated breath through his nose Naruto turned and walked back up. Stopping at a row in the middle he walked towards a konoha ninja who wasn't doing anything and had all the questions filled out. Knowing this was one of the plants for the genin to cheat off of Naruto walked infront of him before speaking "sorry." And punching the secret instructor in the face. Than taking his paper Naruto erased the instructors name and filled in his own. Smiling at Ibiki he walked back to his seat and gave a smile and wink to the blushing hyuga and giggling red head.

*later*

"All right listen up here's the last question. But first some more rules. Rule number one you may choose to not take the final question it's your decision, if you choose not to take the final question you get a zero on the exam. The next rule is that if you accept the question but do so incorrectly you will not only fail but barred from taking the chunin exam ever again."

'Damm Ibiki I knew you were a sadist but come on this is your play.' Naruto thought as he watched a few genin get up and leave already. Than seeing sakura about to raise her hand naruto internally cursed 'dammit you damm woman if you raise your hand I'll fail my mission.' Sighing naruto raised his hand and stood up. 'Kami this will be embarrassing.' He thought as he took in a breath. Slamming his hand on the table under the very amused eyes of Ibiki he yelled out "DONT UNDERESTIMATE ME. You guys won't scare me. Anyone who doesn't take this question is a coward that doesn't deserve to be a ninja. If your yo scared to answer a question how will you be a chunin and lead a team in battle." Saying his peace naruto took his seat again. Watching as Sakura lowered her hand naruto let out a breath.

Seeing the others lowering their hands Ibiki took a few steps forward "alright that's it times up. For those of you remaining there's only one thing left for me to do. And that's for me to tell you that you've all passed the first exam."

"Huh what do you mean, what about the the tenth question." Sakura exclaimed

"There never was one." Ibiki laughed out. "Your decision to stay was the answer to the tenth question."

"Than what we're the nine questions before about." The sand kunoichi temari exclaimed

"They were supposed to be a test to see if you could cheat without being to noticeable. Your going to be chunin so you'll have to steal documents at some time or another. Also your ability to gather information" Ibiki waved her off.

"I had three chunin disguised as genin to help you but…" Ibiki trailed off while looking at the knocked out chunin that Naruto punched. "Obviously someone figured that out." He replied dryly. Than slowly removing his head band he revealed his scared head. "It's better not to cheat than to cheat clumsily. Information can be the most valuable resource on a battlefield. This is what happens to those who fail at collecting it."

Than a round object broke through the window on the left. Unfolding a banner and jumping to the center of the stage a purple haired woman wearing a chain mail outfit with nothing beneath and a trench coat. "Heads up boys and girls this is no time to be celebrating. "I'll be your next proctor for the second exam, Anko Mitarashi. Now if your ready follow me." Than looking around she spoke out "damm Ibiki you went easy on these kids huh. 78 genin left that's 28 teams."

"Or this year was the cream of the crop." Ibiki stated as he motioned for anko to look again.

Looking back at the genin anko caught more than a few chunin from other villages parading as genin. Than seeing Naruto she blinked before getting a snake like smile. Disappearing from view she reappeared on top of Naruto's lap. "Well well if it ain't my favorite desk brat. What you doing hear?" She asked while burying Naruto's head in her bust.

"Hakage-sama sent me here to gain experience." He replied than whispered "also to watch over the uchiha."

Nodding anko grinned while grinding her crotch onto Naruto's before disappearing and reappearing on the stage leaving Naruto with a pitched tent. "Now follow me to the next exam." She yelled out before jumping out the window.
