I cover my mouth when a loud gasp escapes my lips. My eyes widen, I could feel how my body start trembling. A blur of images double-crosses my mind. The repeated laugh of Alder that sounds like an evil cackle to my ears gives me a terrifying feeling.
I step back, I almost fell on the floor because of the sudden weakening of my legs. My other hand held on the wall, finding support to my body. My head throbs in pain as the familiar images came crashing inside my head again. For a long time of concealing it to the deepest part of my brain, it suddenly invades me again just because of Alder's voice that seems like a reflection of my past.
My breathing went heavy as I tighten my grip on the phone. I clench my jaw, fisting my head fighting the possibility of breakdown. I shut my eyes close and open it once again. I stared at the painted wall with my dead eyes, a tear well out from my eyes as I open my mouth to speak.
