Brianna sat up on her bed and smiled brightly… a little too brightly for her, but given how giddy she was in anticipation for the upcoming events, nothing could dim that smile, except one tiny thing that made her mood slightly fluctuate.
Her mother, Abi, had just left her room, and Brianna was still fuming, even though days had passed since her punishment. Initially, Brianna thought her mother was calling her bluff, but little did she know Abi's determination.
True to Abi's words, Brianna had not been allowed to step even out of her room for most of the time. Brianna was under strict surveillance, and cameras had been installed in her room so that Abi could confirm where she was at each point in time from her phone.
Brianna did not want to see her mother, but Abi thought that her actions were in Brianna's best interest. It was a mother's instinct to protect her child.
