"Whoosh!" Josh let out an involuntary sigh of relief as Rocky exited Ava's room in haste. He had only met the boy for a few short moments spanning barely half an hour, but he hated his guts to the pits of his stomach.
"What's that sound for?"
"Nothing, babe; I am just glad that he is out of our hair, and I can have you all to myself!"
Josh approached Ava and encircled his arms around her waist.
However, Ava was really not in the mood for anything. Her thoughts were on the phone call Rocky had received.
'I hope that everything is okay with Clara!'
She never paid much heed to Rocky's rumblings about being the better boyfriend. She just wondered why he had brought it up there. Rocky had been saying those words to her since he was about fourteen or fifteen. She just took it as he was playing with her, but it was about time she put a stop to it.
'Isn't he too old for some childish games?'
