Forever with you

I had not spoken to Ivor for a whole week. He tried to understand why, but I couldn't tell him.

" Aleera please tell me what I did wrong" Ivor said.

I finally decided to tell him what went wrong.

" remember the promise we made each other before our wedding?" I asked.

" look....I'm sorry but I couldn't hide my feelings anymore " Ivor said.

"I could be pregnant Ivor and you just say you're sorry?" I said

" it's been a week Aleera and you could have felt it if you were pregnant " Ivor said.

He was actually true. My mother said she felt me within five days, a tribrid would even be sooner than that.

I walked out on Ivor again. I went to find Dalvin. I found him just at the beach of the island.

" you disturb my peace and quiet hybrid " Dalvin said.

" do you even have a little noise in your life ?" I asked rhetorically.

Dalvin laughed a bit .I sat close to him.

"so when did you love birds do it?" Dalvin asked

" I can sense a small life within you" Dalvin said.

it was then my life went in flames. My biggest fear was coming to reality. My own child could be my death sentence .

Dalvin explained that even before my due date I could die. I was tensed, afraid, I froze.

And yet a way came, but with disadvantages.

Dalvin said he could use forbidden magic to alter one of my baby's powers.The child would be a hybrid, like me.

Dalvin explained that it could also be risky. But both ways were risky. My only decision was to choose which powers to alter. It was all too much for me. I screamed in frustration. Dalvin laughed.

" is this funny to you?" I asked.

"a little bit..... you know, your mother also had this choice to make before you were born. I was there when she cried that she could die giving birth to the hybrid. I told her that I could alter one of your powers, but did she?" Dalvin said.

" I guess not"

I can't possibly handle three powers within me at once. One of them, fire included.

" talk to Ivor about it, he needs to know"Dalvin said.

Ivor could tell me what to do,but I was too angry to tell him. He didn't keep his promise to me, now I'm in this mess.

" Aleera, Aleera!!! " Ivor called.

I didn't answer him. I just wailed in tears. He found me crying. He embraced me , I tried to resist but he continued.

" Ivor I'm pregnant" I said

" oh my God Aleera, are you okay? it's my fault right?, I couldn't control myself" he said.

" I need you Ivor, with you I'll be alright and I'll fight it. Dalvin tells me that there's a way I could alter one of the baby's powers but I don't want to, we'll get through this right?" I said

" I'm forever with you,both of you are my responsibilities now" he said.

Ivor gave me hope and peace . He hugged me. I felt safe . Of course not for long.

A fire arrow landede right next to us. They found us.

" that's a Kasarian fire arrow" Ivor said.

" then your father must be there" I said.

" how did they find my island?, you guys stay back. The barrier spell must be broken I'll use my powers to try and shield us" Dalvin said.

It was already too late. A ship had already crossed. Dalvin told us to run but Ivor and I refused. Ivor told me to run because of my baby. I refused, I had to use my powers once for a good cause.

Dalvin, Ivor and I stood at the beach of the island. A lot of ships approached us. Ivor's father's ship got to the island, Lyla in it.

" my beautiful son, hand over that murderer we gave you as a wife if you don't want people hurt" King Adam said.

I wanted to surrender myself , but Ivor shook his head saying I shouldn't.

" Father, father, my old beautiful father first of all I'm fine thanks for asking. secondly , my wife is not a murderer and lastly you and that witch over there, Lyla and all your men don't stand a chance against the outcast, Dalvin Attor, My wife the hybrid and I one of the strongest fireling in all kingdoms." Ivor said.

" Ivan is dead, Ivor" king Adam shouted.

It was there time stopped to me. I couldn't hear anything apart from my heartbeat .

Ivor was trying to talk to me, I couldn't hear him. I fell on the ground and fainted.

Ivor rushed to me and carried me. He ran into the island and dropped with the other people. Ivor was very angry. He went back to the beach with his eyes red , fire on his hands burning nonstop .

"Lyla!!!!!" Ivor screamed.

"Before you scream your voice out, you are to marry Lyla to honour your brother after I kill your so called wife" King Adam said.

" I'd die before u even harm a hair on her head father, Lyla planned all these , she killed Ivan can't you see" Ivor said as he cried and fell to the ground.

Meanwhile Dalvin was secretly meditating his forbid magic barrier spell. He finished and the spell pushed away all King Adam's ships. They were locked out again.

Dalvin ran to ivor

" Ivor,Ivor you have to be strong, for Aleera,for your child and for your brother " Dalvin said.

" Ivan is not dead, Dalvin. I can feel him. My father tried to play a trick on me " Ivor said .

"that's a relief, at least Aleera is not guilty " Dalvin said.

" I'm not running anymore, I'm going home and I'm taking my wife even if it means killing my father .

Ivor ran to get me. I was still asleep. He packed some of our stuff and carried me to the beach.

" won't you want her awake while your carrying her into danger? " Dalvin asked.

" she'd want to fight for good" Ivor said.

" remember that the child would be born within a month, it's a tribid so it's that quick"

"everything will be settled way before a month passes . Thank you for everything Dalvin, I'll see you again someday" Ivor said.

Ivor carried me to a boat.

"fuck it, have my ship, return it when you've won and bring your tribid baby too " Dalvin said.

Ivor carried me to Dalvin's ship and we set sail. Ivor waved goodbye to Dalvin and we left .
