"Is she gone?"
Theodore turned back to find a silhouette in the dark coming towards him. He was standing on the balcony as all the lights of the villa were turned off. The pitch-black darkness was making the color of the villa look more enticing and ghostly.
Theodore thought that Annabelle was fast asleep again as he found his room door locked. The balcony he was standing in was adjacent to another room.
The white curtains were moving in the darkness as the cold wind came inside through the balcony. Annabelle felt a little cold as she shivered a bit. Tonight was a full moon too.
She came forward, encircling her arms around his waist while grabbing them in response. She rested her head onto his wide back.
The rigidness which she felt whenever he was around was no longer inside her. They were slowly growing used to each other's presence in their life. Sometimes, she thinks about whether these moments might be hard for her to forget later.
