"Sit" said Natasha as she sounded very cold.

"Yes Madam, thank you" said Lexi as she immediately scurried to sit down across Natasha at her desk, she was fidgeting and scared, well who would not be, after the last time Natasha put her in her place and humiliated her.

Lexi never thought that she would ever beg anyone like that, she never even thought she would be able to cry to heavily and bitterly, oh well there was a first time for everything.

"So, what is it that you want to talk to me about??" asked Natasha as she sounded very annoyed.

"And be quick, I do not have all day" she said as she gathered some scattered papers on her desk together, and she put them in her drawer.

"Ahhh, yes Madam" said Lexi as she started to stutter on her words.

"I... I..." said Lexi as stuttered, she was very scared of Natasha.

"You what??" asked Natasha as she eyed Lexi, the girl should have just spoke up, so she could get this over and done with.

"You do know that you are wasting my time right??" asked Natasha as looked at Lexi with annoyance.

"Well Madam" said Lexi as she took a deep breath and she decided to finally say what had brought her here.

"I am here… I am here to thank you" said Lexi as she sighed and she looked up to make eye contact with Natasha's chilling eyes.

"Thank me??" asked Natasha as Lexi nodded her head.

"Thank me for what??" she asked.

"Well Madam, I received my pay for this month today" said Lexi as she stopped her tears from dropping down.

"And I am well aware that I would not have been paid, if you did not show me any mercy" said Lexi.

"And for that I thank you, really from the bottom of my heart I thank you" said Lexi as she smiled.

"You truly do not know how much this means to me" she said.

"I was already thinking of ways to manage my expenses for next month, and what to do and all, and I was just really devastated, till this morning that I received an alert on my phone" said Lexi.

"I know that I was wrong Madam, I disrespected you, and I over crossed my boundaries, I insulted you badly, and I was just not a good person, I was a gossip" said Lexi as she truly did feel sorry for what she had done.

While she was serving the punishment Natasha gave to her, she had some time to think and she had realized that she had truly been a bad person, she was someone who would stand her ground no matter what, and if someone insulted her, she would have retaliated, and yet she had done the same to Natasha, and now she felt very bad that she had done such a thing.

"I truly do feel sorry for what I have done, I was very stupid and insensitive, and I want you to please forgive me" said Lexi as she sighed.

"I have learnt my lesson" said Lexi as she looked at Natasha who was just looking at her In silence the whole time she was talking.

"I am glad that you have learnt your lesson Lexi" said Natasha as she sounded less cold to Lexi.

It would seem that Lexi was really remorseful for what she had done, and if her remorse was true, then Natasha had no reason at all to keep on being angry at her, it would seem that people just needed to be taught a lesson and suffer a bit before they could change their ways, but then again some people were so hardened in heart that they would not yield to correction at all.

Natasha was sure that Lexi had changed because she was punished for her actions, the thought that she would not get paid for what she had done was always at the back of her mind, and that allowed her to really reflect on her actions and accept her faults.

"Yes Madam, I truly have learnt my lesson" said Lexi quickly.

"I will never do such again, and I will keep my mouth shut" said Lexi.

"Thank you Madam, because I am sure that if you did not change your mind, I would not have been paid at all" said Lexi as she smiled.

Lexi was right, Natasha had just decided to forgive Lexi and just give her a slight punishment, but when she actually thought about it, she did not want the girl to suffer, in fact no one deserved to suffer, so she had called Alfred to make sure her let Lexi receive her pay.

"You just needed to learn a lesson, and I am sure that you have learnt that lesson, with the way you are speaking now" said Natasha

"Yes Madam I have" said Lexi as she nodded her head.

"That is good, although, I am not the one you should be thanking" said Natasha.

"Hmmm??" asked Lexi as she was confused, if she was not supposed to be thanking the Madam, then who should she have thanked??

"Yes, it is true" said Natasha.

"The person you should be thanking is Amalia" said Natasha.

"Amalia???" asked Lexi in shock, what did Amalia do??

"Yes Amalia" said Natasha as she nodded her head.

"She is a very good friend, you should hold on to her, and appreciate her" said Natasha.

"She came over here to see me, and she begged me to please spare you, and she seemed really worried for you" said Natasha.

"Didn't she tell you??" asked Natasha

"No… No she did not Madam" said Lexi as she shook her head, she could not believe this, and Amalia did not say anything at all.

"Well she is the true definition of a good friend" said Natasha as she smiled.

"If not for her, I would not have changed my mind" said Natasha.

"Oh Madam, thank you, thank you very much, I need to go and see Amalia" said Lexi as she smiled.

"Well you can leave now" said Natasha.

"And remember this valuable lesson that you have been taught" said Natasha.

"I will Madam, I will, thank you" said Lexi as she smiled and she stood up.

"You are welcome" said Natasha as Lexi left her office.

"Well I should also go now" said Natasha to herself as she stood up from her desk and she closed her office door behind her.

It was time for breakfast, and she was sure that her baby had already had more than enough hours of sleep, the rate at which Joy was sleeping nowadays worried Natasha, she never used to sleep too late before, but now she did.

Natasha opened the door of Joy's room and she furrowed her brows when she looked at Joy's bed and Joy was nowhere to be found, Natasha started to get worried, did Joy wake up?? And where was she then??

"My baby??" called out Natasha as she walked to Joy's bed.

"My baby, where are you??" asked Natasha as she was worried and she received no reply, she was about to rush out to go and ask Alfred if Joy was with him, when she heard Joy's bathroom door opened and a cute little voice followed after.

"Mommy, I am here" said Joy as she giggled as she walked out of her bathroom.

"*Sigh*, Oh my baby, you scared me" said Natasha as she sighed a sigh of relief and she rushed to hug Joy.

"But Mommy why were you scared??" asked Joy as she looked at her mother with curiosity.

"Well I could not find you on your bed" said Natasha as she laughed at her silliness, what sort of mother was she?? She did not even think to check the bathroom first before she began to panic.

"Well Mommy that is because I woke up and I went to brush my teeth and take my shower by myself, because I am a big girl" said Joy as she giggled, and it was at that time that Natasha noticed that Joy had a towel messily wrapped around her head.

"Ooh I see now my baby" said Natasha as she laughed and she walked to Joy's bed and she placed Joy on her bed as she removed the wet towel from Joy's hair and she began to dry her baby's hair.

"You really are growing very fast, you do not need me anymore" said Natasha as she laughed.

"No Mommy, I always need you" said Joy as she smiled.

"Aww my baby, but you are no longer my baby, you are a big girl now" said Natasha as she laughed, her daughter was now capable of taking her bath herself and even dressing herself.

"No Mommy, I am always your baby" said Joy as she laughed and she gave her mommy a kiss on the cheek.

"Oh my baby, you say the nicest things" said Natasha as she laughed and she kissed Joy back, her baby was always so mature, Natasha wondered where she got that maturity from.

"I am hungry mommy" said Joy as she smiled.

"Well let me just finish drying your hair first my baby, then we can go have breakfast" said Natasha as she laughed.

"Okay Mommy" said Joy as she laughed.
