**(Next Day)**
.
*Bam~*
"AHHH! What was that!?" Bennett jumped.
David suddenly appeared right in front of him, "Wakey, wakey!"
"AHH! What the hell!?"
Bennett was currently in his pajamas, in a... weird kung-fu position.
"Pfft. Get down, it's time for breakfast, then school." David smiled.
It was a great day, not many clouds, the bright sun was shining, brightening up everyone's day.
Bennett and David were walking around the campus, eating some fried dough for breakfast.
"It was freaking disgusting! They actually did that!" Bennett grumbled.
He was reminiscing about yesterday. During the exercise, when his group encountered the goblin hideout, they saw everything in action, the feasting, fighting, and raping as well, all at once!
Agreed by Feil, Hana, and Bennett, they wanted, no, they needed to clean their eyes out for the next few days.
David took another bite of his breakfast, "Oh... you got the bad end then, heh. By the way, I'm pretty sure that other than me, everyone else only had two hobgoblins, so how did Hana panic so much that she shot a fire-type spell in an enclosed space?"
He sighed, "Since I was the only third-tier there, and Feil was having a hard time with the hobgoblins since he had to block off the other goblins, some of them slipped through."
"Considering Hana saw what she saw when we entered the cave, I guess she panicked that she would be...?" David stopped.
"Exactly. She screamed and slammed her staff. Everything was burning..."
The two were joking around with each other, with mostly David teasing him about the sloppy skills that he showed was almost outdone by some who weren't even in the same tier as him.
*Bam~*
They turned their head instinctively. Bennett saw a weak man lying on the floor, but in David's perspective, he saw a group of people bullying Jackson!
He knew that Jackson's constitution was very weak, but even then, with his skills and perception, he wouldn't trip so easily with his class of assassin.
Bennett squinted his eyes, "Hey, what's going on over there?"
David frowned, "Someone's being bullied."
Before Bennett could reply, he saw that David already walked off, onto the direction where they were just staring at.
While David was walking, he could see more clearly. There were four people, each of their temperaments was like that of a noble young master.
David didn't need any sort of appraisal to notice that three of them were on the first rank, while that one in the middle was a second rank.
'But what about self-defense? Jack should be able to defend himself with this setup...'
He picked up the pace without any hesitation, the man was a good potential party member and scout that he wasn't willing to let go of.
Bennett followed closely, his face was gloomy, anyone looking his way would be able to see his irritation.
To both of them, whether it'd be a school or an academy, it's still a place for learning, a safe place for other students to learn here. It would've been fine with competition, but from their actions, it definitely didn't seem like it.
Neither of them was bullied in the past, so neither of them could even comprehend why people would do this.
Seeing that they were about to really give him a beating, David swiped his hand down, targeting the four with his mana pressure.
*Thud~*
"Guh! Wha-t... the hell?"
"Why... can't... I move?"
"Ow..."
"Wh-who's there?"
The leader of the three was the only one kneeling, while the others fell straight to the ground.
*Step~ Step~*
"Jack, are you alright?" Asked David.
Jack looked up as he heard the screams of the four who fell down. He was still on guard, but as soon as he saw that it David, he calmed down.
"D... Sir David?"
"No need for the sir part. Are you alright?" David asked again.
Jack snapped out of his daze at David's question, "Don't worry, I'm fine."
*Step~ Step~*
Bennett stopped right next to David, "Hah... hah... You need to slow down... I can't catch up."
Although David allowed their mouths to move, the four on the ground didn't dare to speak. There were two third ranks right in front of them, and just one of them was already enough to bring them all down without any effort, so they just laid their, silent.
David didn't answer him, but instead glanced at the four on the ground, "Hello, my name is David Vale for the Vale family, can any one of you please tell me what is going on?"
Bennett saw his expression, sighed to himself, and nudged Jack several times, signaling for him to move away. His expression revealing some fright: "If you don't wanna die, M.O.V.E."
The two moved away, instead of being scared, both of them stared at the four on the ground as if they were about to watch a show.
Hearing his name rang a large bell on their ears... from the VALE family!?
Although the Vale family was one of the weaker families in terms of strength to rank ratio, as it's still in the first generation... but! The current head and mistress of the family weren't even 100 years old yet!
It was because of that fact that they were considered talents that would reach the fifth rank before reaching 100. This kind of talent is recognized even by the king, giving them strong social status amongst the other high-ranking nobles.
There was also the point where every... single... one of their children... are geniuses as well! Samuel, a legendary swordsman who helped repel demons with his parents quite recently. Then, it was confirmed that Bennett and David both had reached the third tier, perfectly fitting of the title genius!
All of them were frozen on the spot, except for their leader who spoke up, "We're sorry! We knew that he isn't in a good condition... so we wanted to get some extra credits from him."
Hearing their dumb reason for robbing someone on campus... David didn't even want to try anymore.
"You are doing this on Balfone Academy's campus, one of... if not, the best school in the country, and you think you can get away from robbing another student? Where there was most likely a recording device watching you from above?"
David pointed to the sky, revealing a round black sphere that was watching the entire thing play through.
He released his aura, allowing them to move and let the words he just said sink in.
"On top of that... robbing a student for credits... are you even worthy of the title, noble? Most likely not, riding your parent's coattail to scare others..."
He didn't assume, from the moment they entered the academy, he had remembered those who entered with large carriages, who were most likely nobles or influential 'peasants', and those who came here by walking, which would usually mean peasants.
The group of four he saw just now, he had seen with their parents who were wearing expensive clothes and jewelry, sending them off.
He didn't need to think anymore and let them go, "I don't need to waste my time. You might as well just go to the office and apologize for your behavior before you lose your reputation in class when they call you out."
"Y-yes! Thank you for being merciful, sir David!" All of them left in a rush, none of them even had thoughts of revenge, they knew that if they were kicked out of the academy, they would be disowned by their parents!
Seeing them leave and even tripping on the way, Bennett chuckled, "That was quick..."
David turned to them, "Come on. Finish your breakfast. Jack, you can go to class."
Jack bowed in gratitude, "Thank you, David!"
"Come on. We need to get to class as well... can't be late anytime during the first week especially knowing what we have to do today." David waved, running away.
"Mhphmphmphmphm! (Let me finish eating first!)"

Chapter 107 End...
More of a practice chapter... there wasn't much to write so I just went with a cliche...
