Chapter 50: Interim (Edited!)

As I settle Karen into the bed, rather than falling asleep, she snuggles against my chest and begins to share her life story.

Karen's life had been anything but easy. She grew up in a small town, managing her family's motel while caring for her father and younger brother.

Her mother had passed away from cancer when Karen was eighteen, an event that led her father to neglect the family business and squander their money.

During this tumultuous time, as the motel teetered on the brink of bankruptcy, Karen found herself drawn to a dangerous crowd. She began using drugs, particularly cocaine, and immersed herself in a party lifestyle. It was in these circles that she met her boyfriend Todd, who was a drug supplier.

Her family frequently clashed over Todd, warning Karen of his bad influence, but she was defiant and eventually, she moved into Todd's mobile van, embracing a reckless life of sex and substance abuse.

Concerned for her future, her younger brother secretly enrolled her in college, hoping she would seize the opportunity to escape their small town.

However, Karen was infuriated by his interference and tore up the acceptance letter and returned to Todd. Unable to watch his sister destroy her life, her brother took drastic action one night by setting fire to Todd's van.

Returning to the scene to find the van engulfed in flames, Todd flew into a rage and attacked Karen's brother, mercilessly beating him with a metal stick. In an attempt to save him, Karen intervened, but Todd violently slapped her aside.

Panicked and desperate, Karen grabbed Todd's revolver. Despite her firing a warning shot in the air, Todd continued his assault on her brother, leaving her with no choice but to shoot him in the chest, ending Todd's life.

Subsequently, Karen and her brother hastily fled the scene in her younger brother's car while he was still severely injured by the assault.

Tragically, while driving, Karen, who was very high on drugs, lost control of the vehicle. It veered off the road, struck a guardrail, and flipped over. When Karen regained consciousness, she discovered her brother had died in the accident.

Her father arrived at the crash site, grief-stricken as he cradled his dead son. The next day, he devised a plan to pin Todd's murder on his son, sparing Karen from any legal consequences, as he couldn't bear the thought of losing her to prison as well.

When Karen, overwhelmed with guilt, expressed her sorrow and offered to handle her brother's funeral arrangements, her father, consumed by anguish and anger, told her to leave and never return back to their town.

With nothing left for her there, Karen packed her belongings and moved to New York City, where she eventually found a job as a secretary at a construction company.

Throughout her recount, I held her close, offering comfort as she wept and released the burdens of her past into my embrace.

Before, I simply desired to have sex with the hot beautiful blonde, especially tonight, when I wanted to test if my healing capabilities worked on myself during intercourse.

However, listening to her heartfelt story, I found myself genuinely moved and emotionally attached to the woman nestled in my arms. She has suffered so much even at such a young age, and more importantly I can feel her resolve to not repeat her past mistakes and make her life better. 

"Sleep, and let go of all those painful memories," I whisper softly, kissing her forehead. "I will make sure your future is filled with happiness."

Karen's breathing evens out as she finds comfort in my embrace, sleeping peacefully in my arms, her grip tightening gently around me.

"I am hanging up, bye!" I cut off the call before Skye can start lecturing.

On my phone, I open up the video and raise my eyebrows at the video feed.

"Well, isn't this a pleasant surprise," I say with a smile.

"April, I think we will have to finish things in half an hour," I say, looking down at the eager woman.

"Well, I will hurry up then," April says in a sultry tone as she goes back to chocking on my dick.

"Maybe I can delay it for another hour," I say with a contented sigh.
