"So, he left," I questioned Sam while running towards the cell of the newest addition of Prison 42.

I still remember how it all started In a battle between Nitro and the New Warriors, Nitro exploded, seemingly killing the entire team and a huge number of civilians, including 60 school children nearby. This led the United States government to introduce a "Living Weapon of Mass Destruction" registry for all super-powered individuals.

S.H.I.E.L.D asked me to join a strike force, hunting superhumans in violation of the act.

But I refused and instead retaliated against the act. I gathered like-minded people who were numerous and formed an Underground movement that called itself the Secret Avengers.

"Yes, the Sentry said he doesn't want to involve himself in this matter," Sam replied while flying behind me, his words brought me back from my past musings.

"Leave him for now, Tell me what you find about our next prisoner," I said and pressed the elevator's button.

*Ding* seeing the door open, we both entered and used the security card key to access the secret floor.

Only after the door closed that the Sam started speaking.

"From what I gathered, the prisoner is a Universe traveller, and accidentally entered ours.

Tony, and he had a beef where he destroyed the cell's glass widow by just tapping on them.

From that alone, we can say his threat level is similar to the Hulk." Sam explained in a serious tone and when he mentioned Hulk's name, he winced.

What Tony and Reed did to Hulk is known by all secret Avengers.

"Is that all?"

"No, apparently Tony and Reed had a small argument about him as well," Sam said as the elevator started going down.

"And why's that" I curiously asked while strapping the buckle of my shield. Sam also readied himself for the action waiting on the other side of the door.

"Reed watched the tape of their interaction with the Prisoner they named Purple, and while watching that tape, he concluded that Purple was intentionally staying in the prison, but Tony declined Reed's conclusion and then said that Purple was scared shitless after he threatened to throw him outside the Multiverse," Sam said and scoffed at Tony's arrogance.

"And how did Reed reach such a conclusion," I asked Sam, not minding his scoff.

"Yeah his answer was equally stupid, but I would rather believe him than to believe that arrogant asshole. Anyways, Reed said that he found some clues that could prove that Purple exited the Prison, and returned back in less than a zeptosecond, whatever the hell that is, but Tony declined his hypothesis." I speechlessly turned my head towards him and gave a look that said "Really?"

"Haha, what do think Cap, who do you think is right?" Sam laughed awkwardly at my stare and questioned back, trying to avoid eye contact.

His question made me fall deep in my thoughts, even if I know he was just trying to change the subject.

"Sam…" I called while giving him the best poker face I could. "Although your reasoning is nonsensical, unfortunately, you're conclusion is not wrong." I stopped and chuckled at his nervous face.

"Hey! That wasn't cool man" Sam retorted after seeing me messing with him.

"And I don't think that, just because of Reed being smarter than Tony, or something, but because of Tony's confrontation with the Purple, his Ego won't let him admit he's wrong." I continued speaking without replying to Sam's retort.

"Hahaha! Man, that's a low blow even for me, you know how much Tony hates when someone calls Reed smarter than him." Sam laughingly says, making me shrug my shoulders and point at the door.

"Get ready, it's not going to be easy," I said, making Sam nod with a serious expression.

*Ding* the door opened as soon as Sam nodded, revealing several agents pointing their guns at us.

—— 3rd Person's P.O.V ——

.

*Ding* Captain and Falcon exited the Elevator with their hands above their heads, in a surrendering manner.

Seeing them like that, a senior agent motioned a junior to cuff them.

The junior agent complied and moved towards the superhero duo, but unfortunately for the unlucky man, he was met with a powerful punch that broke his nose and knocked him out cold.

The other agents instantly started open firing at the duo.

Captain used his shield to block the bullets, and Falcon used his wings, but those wings are also hampering his movement, unlike Captain who's going one agent after another, knocking all of them down.

"Shoot them!!!" Shouted the same senior agent after seeing Captain taking down the agents easily.

"We are dammit!!!" A junior agent frustratingly retorted to his stupid senior.

"Aghjj" an agent grunted painfully, from the head-bash, Captain gave.

The speed at which Captain dismantled the group of twenty agents was astonishing if you take that all the agents fighting them were enhanced humans.

"~Haa, I always thought you were just a slow jogger, didn't knew you were also a slow fighter." Captain teased the struggling Falcon, a little out of breath.

"Hey man, it's not funny. It's hard for me to fight with my wings unfolded in such a narrow lobby." Falcon complained as he carefully passed the unconscious bodies.

"Whatever helps you sleep better, Sam." Captain chuckled and moved forward.

They continued moving towards Bryan's prison cell while taking down many agents along the way. Falcon grumbled at the narrow corridors every time he was forced to open his wing to deflect bullets.

Their path was eventually interrupted by one blue and red spandex-wearing hero: Spiderman.

Captain and Falcon immediately became vigilant after Spiderman blocked their path.

"Peter" Captain addressed the web slinger's real name, trying to figure out how to avoid this fight.

Captain knows that if they fought Peter here, their chances of reaching Bryan's cell would be almost impossible. He has fought younger Spiderman a few times and beat him easily because of his inexperience, but this Spiderman is different.

The current Peter Parker unlike his childish younger self has faced many strong opponents, and come out victorious, heck he has even subdued multiple stronger opponents with just his wits and abilities alone. Remember that subduing and killing are two different things.

"Hey man, is there any way you can pretend that you didn't see us here?" Falcon joked, but Spiderman didn't reply.

"Captain, you should not be here," Spiderman said in a downcast tone unlike his normal cheerful one.

Captain immediately deduced how reluctant Peter is from his tone.

"Peter listen, I know Tony said that you're doing the right thing, but you're not. It's easy for him to admit he's Iron Man, but the same cannot be said about everyone, even you, you should be facing some problems after revealing your Identity." Captain spoke, and after seeing his persuasion working he started speaking again.

"Peter, you're a good person, but think, If your identity was revealed from the start, would you have become Spiderman today?" Captain stopped speaking after asking the question, but instead of getting an answer from Spiderman, he got a dark laugh.

"Hahaha! Mr Stark said you would try to persuade me. He also said that I will definitely consider joining you after hearing your heroic speech, although not heroic, but quite a speech that was." Spiderman said and lunged at Captain.

Captain blocked Peter's punch with his Shield, and even with the shield absorbing the vibrations and shock, Captain felt the force behind that punch.

"Easy kid…" Falcon said and attacked Spiderman with his wing blades, but unfortunately for him, Spiderman already anticipated his move and has already flipped his body behind Falcon.

Spiderman landed on the flying Falcon's back and immediately tried to pull the wings out which he almost did with slight effort, but a shield flying towards him, made him jump back from the Falcon's back.

Spiderman charged at Captain the moment his feet touched the ground, but his spidey sense suddenly flared, making him halt and did a back flip.

Spiderman barely dodged Captain's shield that bounced back towards Captain.

Falcon also attacked after seeing Spiderman out of balance, but Spiderman dodged his attack easily.

Thinking about all the time they are wasting here, Captain immediately formed a plan to take down Spiderman.

Captain dashed towards the two fighters, making Spiderman send a web attack which he blocked with his shield.

"Peter, you know your decision has brought your Aunt and Wife's lives in jeopardy, right?" Captain felt dirty for asking such a question of the kid, but baggers can't be choosers, and seeing Spiderman freezing mid-battle, proved the efficacy of his plan.

Falcon didn't let Spiderman's lack of focus go and threw him towards Captain who knocked the absent-minded Spiderman with a bash of his shield.

"Did you really have to say that," Falcon questioned Captain after tying the web-slinger.

"Let's go, we don't have much time." Captain didn't reply to Falcon as he himself was feeling awful for doing that to the kid.
