Chapter 9: Together

"Lucas, I can feel the pureness in your heart. I can't explain my feelings but I also like you Lucas.", Lara said.

I was so happy in that moment. I felt that I'm the luckiest guy in the world. We hugged each other like it's the end of the world. I can't sleep easily after that day because many things came into my mind and I don't feel alone anymore.

As days pass, we get closer and closer. We're always together in eating and I take Lara into her house after our work.

One night, I dreamed about finding the watch. Eventhough it can be found here, I didn't choose to go back to the past.

Next morning, I was assigned to work at the second floor. Many historical things are placed there. When I was cleaning, I saw the watch there with a picture of me. I didn't expect that the watch is here.

Then Lara came and she noticed the picture. "He looks exactly like you. Oh is that the watch you are looking for? ", she asked.

"He is my grandpa and yes that thing is what I'm looking.", I answered. I no longer need the watch. "Oh, alright." She exclaimed.

Then after a week, I was assigned at the third floor. I was excited because I might discover new things. When I was checking the war history section, I found something that loosed out myself. My tears suddenly fell on my eyes.

We lost the war. I saw images of soldiers who served the war. Jonas and I are in the picture. I thinked seriously and said something to myself.

Should I come back on the past and change our future or just choose to live with Lara, the one that I love.
