A Collection Of Dreams

There's World Travel, Action, and blah blah blah you can read it to find out. I should probably mention MC is in the world of BOFURI right now. I'll put some of my dreams in here and mix them into my story. Don't expect much from me I'm not really experienced yet... I'll try my best though, so thanks for having me. I own nothing other than my OC's

Guild Base Acquired!

"Rawr! Rawr! Good work, everyone! That's the end of the second event!" The mascot dragon said as he flew around us.

"Players with more than 10 medals will be given a choice to choose a skill, so don't anyone log out just yet!" It said with its cheerful expression.

We all sigh in relief.

Maple opened up the event interface and saw that she had 1 gold medal and 20 silver medals collected.

"Impressive!" Kasumi exclaimed while looking closely at the interface.

"Yup, it's all thanks to grouping with Sally! But more importantly..." Maple replied mysteriously.

"Hmm?" We all curiously say at the same time.

Maple grabbed my hand and leaned on my shoulder.

"We get to live with Ma- I mean, Al now!" Maple excitedly says, almost slipping up but quickly stopping herself from saying my name.

"Mhm, this event was worth it!" Sally shouts excitedly.

Don't they have to get their parent's permission first?

After Maple turned in all of her Medals I had seven left.

What the heck was I going to get with seven medals?

(I'll take those off your hands) Komeko told me telepathically.

(Would I get something in return for them?) I ask her.

(I could let you buy some stuff off of me with them.) She tells me

(Off of you? As in your clothes? Sorry, I don't have a crossdressing fetish...) I say in a slightly weirded out tone.

(You know that's not what I'm talking about!) Komeko scowled

(I have some stuff you can trade medals for.) She tells me

(That's good, but why do you want the medals?) I ask

(If I had a reason it would be none of your business, but I'm doing this out of the goodness of my heart you know.) Komeko snapped at me.

(Oh, ok...my bad...) I replied, slightly shocked.

An interface appeared in front of me with a list of many skills and a small picture of a...gacha machine?

(I'm way better than those trashy administrators. I'll give you skills for 2 silver medals each, and random things for one silver medal!) Komeko began boasting

I drowned out the rest of her bragging and began to scroll through the list.

(I'll pick three skills, then do a gacha pull, that will add up to seven medals.) I think as I select the skills.

The skills I select are,

[Flame Combat] The next punch or kick you send out will be covered in fire. Drains your stamina. Improves when trained.

[Crystal Shot] Materialize and fire red crystals out of your hand. Can't be used consecutively. Improves when trained.

[Shadow Rush] A shadow will materialize in front of you and copy an action you want it to do. Improves when trained.

Now time for my gacha pull.

I tap on the icon and hope I don't get any trash.

The icon began shaking left to right before showing a ball fall out into my hand.

(What'd ya get?) Komeko asked me with interest

[Ding!]

[Frozen Chains of Endless Frost]

After telling Komeko what I got, Maple was ready to show us her new skills.

"Oh, I see you already met Syrup and Oboro!" Maple says excitedly.

While I was choosing my skills the two pets were staring at me, sitting obediently in a well-disciplined manner.

"You two were able to get pets?" I questioned.

"Yeah, wanna see a trick?" Sally asks me

"Sure," I reply

"Oboro, use Fire Tail!" Sally shouts as she points at a small monster in the cave.

The white fox jumps into the air and does a flip, it's tail catches on fire and the flames shoot from its tail, slamming against the monster.

The monster is no match for Oboro and is set ablaze, causing it to run around and die from burn damage.

"Woah nice, it's like a pocket monster!" I remark.

"I guess you could call it that..." Sally responded, trying to understand why I called it that.

I look at Maple and her eyes widen, ready to show off her new skills.

"My turn!" Maple said as she dragged me out of the cave.

Sally, Sachi, and Kasumi followed.

"Ok Maple, what now?" I ask with anticipation.

"Look at this!" Maple said as her turtle, Syrup, began to grow in size.

Other than Sachi, everyone's jaws dropped as Syrup reached at least four times my size.

"It's the new Megamorph skill Syrup learned," Maple said as she got on top of it's back.

"Please work. Psychokinesis!" Maple said as she put all of her hope in this working.

Suddenly, the turtle began to float into the air and stopped a few meters high.

"Yippe! It worked after all!" Maple shouted with glee

"Um, so... The skill you earned from gathering all those medals is..."

"Yeah! Physchokenisis! I wanted to fly through the sky with Syrup!" Maple exclaimed.

"Oh... Hold on a sec!" Maple said as if she forgot something.

She flew Syrup a bit ahead of us and pointed her short sword above a small herd of monsters in an area.

"Acid Rain!" She said, causing purple clouds of acid to gather above the group of monsters.

The monsters made high pitched noises of anguish before dying to the acid raining down on them.

Kasumi and Sally looked at Maple with a deadpan facial expression.

After that, I introduced Sachi.

"This is my maid, Sachi," I say while using my had to gesture for Sachi to greet them.

"Nice to meet you, my name is Sachi." She stated emotionless, bowing.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Sally," Sally said while cupping one of her hands and shaking it.

"Nice to meet you too, let's get along ok!" Maple said while grabbing her other hand and doing the same to Sachi.

"Very well," Sachi says as she shakes their hand with the same expressionless face of hers.

"Sachi, show them something cool! We can't be outdone by pets!" I whisper in her ear.

"Very well, Master" Sachi responded as she nodded her head.

"Sachi is cool too, watch this," I say as Sachi suddenly disappears.

We look around and see nothing until we look upwards.

Sachi is coming down from the sky, covered in lightning.

Like a thunderbolt, the moment we saw a glimpse of her, she struck the ground!

A huge explosion followed right in the spot she landed, causing a shockwave we could feel from the distance we stood away.

Once the explosion cleared up, what was in its place was a huge crater that seemed to have a small vortex in the middle.

Suddenly Sachi appeared next to us as if she was always there.

We all silently left the day like that.

Nobody talked about this again.

Nor did anyone want to remember this again.

The next day Maple decided to take a break from the game for a few days.

After all, staying on the whole event had caused some of her in-game habits to creep up on her.

When three days had passed, Maple had logged in and was caught up to speed by Sally and I.

Sally had caught a new creature called "Bright bug" that allowed you to purchase a guild house after catching it.

It only will appear in some areas but she managed to get one.

Now I'm in my soul, talking to Komeko before I join Sachi, Maple, and Sally to choose a guild house.

(Hey, Komeko, I'm ready to use that uber class upgrade of my choice.) I think.

I had finally decided what class I wanted.

(And what would that be?) Komeko asked me with an interested tone.

"After thinking it out, I decided to go with upgrading blacksmith," I tell her.

(There is no Uber Blacksmith class.) Komeko informs me.

(Oh...) I let out a dejected sigh.

(Well, I can make an exception, but are you sure this is what you want?) Komeko asks

(Yeah! I figured that I won't be able to do as much as I can with a group than I could alone. I may as well make myself stronger and the people around me stronger right?) I ask her

(Well, it's all up to you i guess. Are you sure this is what you want?) Komeko says, trying to dissuade me

(I'll be fine with this. Will my stuff from the game transfer to my real world?) I ask

(Nope, I'll be upgrading it now.) She informed me.

I close my eyes for a few seconds and let the information seep into me.

(Well this is interesting) I thought as I go over the new things I gained.

There wasn't a lot of things I gained, but I think that they were actually pretty valuable.

The most important thing though, was that I can create "artifacts" now.

And it just so happens that I had gained material to make one during the event.

[Ice Essence x1]

(Looks like I made a good choice, I'll see you later then.) I say as I wave goodbye to Komeko.

(I'm always near you, and you can come in here anytime you know.) Komeko reminds me.

(Oh, right... see you then.) I tell her as I leave my soul

"Well then, let's get going," I say as Maple and Sally both hold onto my arms, Sachi following closely behind us.

Yesterday I had introduced Sachi as my maid, and they both have taken a liking to her.

We are currently looking for a guild house, I guess this is where Maple Tree will finally begin.

After looking for a long time at many houses, it seemed that all of the good ones were taken already.

(How long have we been doing this again?) I think as we walk out of the city and through a forest.

"Huh, that one seems to be unoccupied," I comment as we begin to walk toward a big tree.

The tree was huge, easily comparable to some buildings. It had a wooden door, three wooden windows, and at the top of the tree, instead of a bunch of leaves and branches, there was a balcony with a wooden railing.

The sunlight passed through the other trees and shined on this one as if it was a treasure being presented to us.

It looked like a treehouse, except the house was built inside the tree...

"Let's go check it out!" Sally says excitedly as they both drag me over to the house.

We look inside and see it's very well put together and already furnished.

"This might be the one!" Sally says as we observe more.

There are many things in there, and every single one of them is clean to the point where they shine.

Not an inch of dust in sight!

"It kind of reminds me of a hideout," Sally said with a smile on her face.

The moment we made our way upstairs, Maple immediately looked for a window and pushed it open with both hands.

The window is shaped like a door but is cut in half.

The moment she pushed the window open both doors moved to the side, allowing more light to enter the room, and maple to stick her head out of the opening.

(She really likes doing that huh?) I think as I observe the look of joy on her face.

I look at Sally and see her satisfied smile.

(So cute!) I think as I hold back the urge to cuddle them right now.

"Do you two like it?" Sally asks

"I think it's the best one so far," I say, knowing this will be our new guild base.

"Yeah, I think it's great!" Maple exclaimed

"Then let's go ahead and claim it," I say as we all walk to the door in front of the tree.

Sally took out a golden coin and pressed it against the entrance.

Maple and I look at Sally and nod our heads at her in union.

"As of now this house is officially ours!" Sally said excitedly

"Woo hoo!" Maple exclaimed

Sachi looked at the guild house, and nodded her head slightly in approval.

As we saw down at the long wooden table in the room, Sachi made us tea.

I picked it up and slowly sipped from my teacup elegantly.

"You're like a noble, wow!" Maple exclaimed as she tried to mimic the way I drink my tea.

"I was training during the event and was taught things like etiquette. I learned how to fight using more weapons, I learned about the demon's history, and more." I responded

"Where did you learn that? I noticed you've gotten a lot of new habits lately." Sally asked as she observed me.

"Yeah, they make you look even cooler than before!" Maple exclaimed with stars in her eyes.

"I told you didn't I? I'm the heir to the demon world, it's only natural that I learn these things." I say as I slowly run my hand through my hair, maximizing my ego.

"Don't you think it's a little too big for just the four of us?" Maple asked, not forgetting about the silent Sachi who stood near the table, ready to serve us more tea if needed.

Sally then stood up and walked over to the huge screen that was mounted on the wall at the front of the table.

She tapped the screen and an interface of the guild house popped up.

"This guild house lets us recruit up to 50 people! What should we do?" She turned around.

Maple was playing with the pets when she heard this and two people instantly came to mind.

"Let's invite Kasumi and Kanade." Maple said with a radiant smile.

"I knew you'd say that! I'll shoot a message their way!" Sally said while opening her system interface.

I sigh and get ready for the day we'll be spending recruiting.
