MY STORY CON..
After we walk down the corridor we took a turn down to the to the ICU ward.and soon we reached my dad's room.
"Take a deep breath" he told me.
" okay" I said and took a deep and long breath.
"Exhale". He said with a hand movement.
I Exhaled.
" are you ready?.
"Yes I am".
He opened the door.
I stepped into the room immediately.
I saw a figure in the bed. It was so hideous and unrecognizable.
" Umm where's my dad? I asked the doctor who was right behind me.
He pointed at the figure lying in the bed.
"M.M.My dad? I stuttered.
"Yes don't worry you will be fine kid". He replied while nodding his head. He opened the door and left us alone.
I rushed to the bed and looked at my father whom I could barely recognize.
" Dad? Dad? I called out to him gently.
" Sam? He asked.
"Yes dad".i said with tears flowing down my cheeks.
He held out his hand and I quickly reached out and took it.
He raised his hand and tried to wipe my tears.
I quickly held his hand to stop is movements.
I was so nervous that I couldn't stop shaking.
" how's your mom?
"She's fine" I replied him.
"Sam?
"Yes dad".
"No matter what will happen in this life never forget that your dad loves you".
"Don't forget that I love you and your mom so much".
" we love you too dad" I replied him while kissing his hand with tears adorning my face.
" you both made me complete". He continued.
" you were all I hoped for, the best thing that happened in my was having your mother as my wife and you as my daughter".
" I couldn't ask God for more became you were enough for me.
"Same here dad. You are the best dad in the world.i love you so much and we will grow with mum". I said why sniffing.
" I want you to make a promise". He asked while trying to clean my tears with his hand.
" anything for you dad".
" promise me that you will take care of your mother, she is weaker than she appears. Always make her happy okay?
"I promise to take care of you and mum, I will make you proud". I said why looking at him and wondering why he was exempting himself.
