"Have you kissed before?" He wasn't the type of guy that plays these kind of games but curiosity to know her more was killing him.

Somehow what he said sounded childish in his ears. He was about to paraphrase his words when he heard her reply " No" . Did he hear correctly.

Yueying repeated audibly again thinking that maybe her voice was a bit lower before.

They just sat there in silence. Suddenly, there was gun shots heard from outside.

Surprisedly, Lu Quing didn't seem shaken.

" Go to your room " he said to her

" What is happening" Yueying asked. She was really perplexed. " What the hell is happening" she kept asking. She was shaking uncontrollably, like a leaf rustled by the wind.

She tried to keep her calm but no matter the words she said to herself, she couldn't just stop shaking.

Lu Quing stood there just looking at her.

" I'm leaving, stay inside" he told her

" Huh " Yueying was confused. What was he supposed to do outside.

" Call the police" she said with trembling voice.

The sound of gunshots and voices became louder.

The next moment, Lu Quing jumped the window. He didn't want to do this in her front but he had no option, and besides he wanted to settle scores with this guy himself.

Yueying's mouth was left agape. She ran to the window to check if he has broken a rib or limb but to her surprise he landed perfectly.

Lu Quing brought out his gun.

Yueying ran out of the room to check on Gu Ni. Gu Ni was in the living room drinking tea. Lu Quing had instructed her to keep an eye on Yueying.

Lu Quing walked down. " Boss" someone said. He was called Ta Ming.

He looked at the man that was once his father's butler. The man had taught him different fighting skills after his father died.

Lu Quing raised his gun and pointed at a range close to the man's head. Don't think much, he was not going to shoot the man. He shot one of the baddits that was in hiding.

The baddits were quivering in fear. Lu Quing's aura engulfed all of them. They wanted to retreat. There were pools of blood everywhere. They were mafias but they couldn't match up Lu Quing and his men.

Lu Quing dragged one of the baddits that was still alive. The man has be lying down helplessly on the ground.

" Take him to the basement" Lu Quing told one of his men

" Make sure you torture him until he speaks up" he continued

Yueying has been watching everything since it started. At first, Gu Ni didn't allow her but she had no option since Yueying persisted. To Yueying, Lu Quing action was excessively harsh and violet. Besides, she was taken aback by Gu Ni seemingly untroubled demeanor.Gu Ni appeared calm as though nothing has happened.

" I think is best if you go to your room" Gu Ni told her.

Yueying just simply walked to her room.

She couldn't sleep that night, she was having a hard time falling asleep, she kept rolling around in bed. She walked out of the room to check if Lu Quing was back. He room was unlock. She could hear the sound of rushing water. He was taking a bath. Suddenly the tap was turned off . She wanted to run out when she heard his voic " Do you need something from me " he said with a smirk.

'SCREEEEEEEEEAM' that was her screaming in her head. She turned around to look at him. His body looks like it was chiseled from heaven. His biceps are so defined and he has the perfect V-shape going on,his body so smooth. He looked like a Greek god. Her cheek turned red. Why was she reacting like this, she had better leave the room she said to herself .
