Hermia Point of View
I woke up dreaming of Brother again, he was trying to say something, but I couldn't understand him. Of course, you wouldn't understand because he was smiling creepily; what does he mean by that.
"Brother, your playing with me again," I whined at him, being scared.
The cold wind entered my room from the open window, making me scared; he pulls pranks on me instead of being scared. I came back to my senses, starting my usual routine of getting ready for school.
I walk into the bathroom, getting a shower. Times like this, I'm in the shower, I think a lot of negative thoughts brother brushes it off when we are young by joking and making me laugh hard.
After taking a nice shower, I brush my teeth change into my uniform before going in the kitchen to prepare breakfast and my bento. The doorbell rang, making me roll my eyes. I open the door without glancing at Clyde.
"I thought you're still sleeping, you slept like three in the morning, you should stay home or you'll get sick because of lack of sleep."
And there goes Clyde Smith, the significant nagging at Hermia Lois Fierce. I roll my eyes cooking.
"Did you finish your essay on Geometry?" I changed the topic eating some strawberries finishing my bento.
He throws the pillow from the open living room, making me groan, throwing it back to him.
"Don't change the subject! You silly head," He scolded me.
"Aiisshh then stops nagging at me," I backed at him.
He hissed, hearing me shout.
"See?? You sound like an ostrich, eat some citrus fruits so you won't get sick or anything." He nagged again.
I tsked at him putting my bento inside the bag. We walk out of my studio, locking it with a passcode.
"What were you doing last night?" I ask him, walking in the elevator, trying to put my bag on my back.
He sighs, snatching it from my hands.
"Stop carrying heavy things and look at your back, it looks so stiff because of your weighty bag." He said.
"Don't change the topic!!" I mocked him.
He chuckled, surprised at me.
"So you're mocking me now??" He scoffed.
I chuckle sarcastically.
"I'm being serious, what were you doing last night?? You seemed busy all the time Facetiming me." I respond to him.
"Signing papers, dad gave me some work last night. I slept maybe just 2hours I don't know." He chuckled.
I looked at him, 2hours?? I look at him like, 'What.'
"2hours, dude do you want me to talk to Uncle?? He must be pressuring you, your studying and now-"
"It's okay, I volunteered to help him he often rest because of work and responsibilities in the house." He answered.
"What about Auntie?? Where's your Mom??" I asked.
An awkward silence filled the whole elevator until it dinged. I check out first, walking to the exit. Clyde didn't answer my question and just remained quiet. Maybe he doesn't want to talk about Auntie.
I smiled and walked to his side.
"Mrs. Grace was looking for you yesterday," I spoke, breaking the silence between the both of us.
"Why? Did she said something important??" He asks frantically.
I smirked.
"Yeah, she asked if you can drop by her office." I teased him.
In the blink of an eye, a hand hits my head, making me pout, caressing the area he just hit.
"Stop with your silliness, what did she say?" He asks.
We began to walk again.
"She asked me if you could be a nominee for our club, you're so good at Martial Arts," I exclaim at him.
He didn't answer, focused on his phone. I sigh, huffing as I balance myself on the seawall making him quickly look at me because of how I hold his shoulder.
"H-What are you doing?! Get down now, you might fall!" He scolded, holding my hands quickly.
I giggle, still walking on the seawall. After two hours of arguing, we finally walk inside the school, gossips began to, you know, mouthy monkeys. I glared at them, making Clyde chuckle putting his arms around my shoulder.
"Come on ignore them, your too cute to be scary." He teased.
I elbowed his stomach, making him groan.
"Stop being a tease, I just want to send the message that I don't like their drama." I roll my eyes.
He chuckled, caressing my hair. We both stood at the door of my classroom, seeing Mrs. Grace as my first teacher of the day.
"Mrs. Grace, I'm sorry that we're late." I apologize.
She smiled.
"It's okay,"
Clyde tsked, rolling his eyes.
"Ms. Okay- I mean Mrs. Grace," He giggled.
The whole class laughed at him, and I looked up the beanstalk rolling my eyes as I step on his foot.
"Stop," I glared at him.
He rolled his eyes, entering my classroom putting my bag down my chair as he sat beside me; I began to write some notes as Mrs. Grace talked to Clyde about our club.
"Why would you nominate me?? It's so clear that Mia has the skills," Clyde reasoned.
Mrs. Grace nodded.
"Yes she has the skills, but she's the President of
the Student council and the whole school... She's the President of all of the clubs here in our school, we can't pass her all of the work." Mrs. Grace defended.
Clyde sighed.
"Then don't let her work, she slept Three in the morning and what time is it? It's 7 am and she wakes up at 5 am, she might collapse in a few minutes because of lacking sleep." He sighed, massaging his temples.
I sigh, hiding my face hearing some gossips again; that's why there are new gossips every day.
"Shut your mouths or you want me to shut it for you!!" He exclaims sternly.
"Clyde calms down," I cooed at him.
"How can I calm down?? They're overworking you! and I can't stand this gossip mess every day you walk in the halls or anywhere!" He shouted, banging on the desk.
I sigh in frustration, always making a scene. Clyde finally walks out of the room after leaving me a kiss on my forehead, literally like my brother.
Time passes as we were finally classmates taking a quiz on Geometry. I was working on the Music Club event for next month when he slides a paper.
'Overworking yourself is not good for you, your getting yourself sick.' It said.
I sigh and look up at him, his overreacting.
"Your overreacting," I whispered.
Mr. Chan was discussing a new lesson, and he let me work on this as long as I stay quiet. If not, I'm finishing this in the library.
"I'm not, it's the truth." He defended.
I roll my eyes, palming my forehead as I began to type on my MacBook again, doing the report.
"I don't know you," I spoke, clicking on the keyboard.
He huffed, poking his inner cheek with his tongue; now he looks so pissed.
"Okay so you're being like that now, I'm sorry okay. I'm just concerned that you might get sick like last month." He said, sighing worriedly.
I look up at him raising my hand to get Mr. Chan's attention; he nods and points at me.
"Can you just Email me the lesson?? I need to work on the Music & Arts event," I sighed, annoyed at Clyde.
He smiled and nod; I collect my things along with my MacBook walking out of the room, earning compliments and smiles as I pass by Junior's hallway for checking.
"Nice Bum,"
I sigh, frustrated. Juniors can be a whole real pervert. I turn to them, glaring.
"Why?? Is it the first time that you see a bum?? Look in the mirror and stare at your butt, my butt is expensive stop starring at it. I'm your senior and the President of the student council, if you haven't heard I'm the President of the whole school. So if you can't respect me, kindly throw yourself in the trashcan and stop being a jerk," I rolled my eyes.
Turning back to my gaze as I began to walk again, taking a turn to the left walking in the library.
"You look not so good Ms. Fierce," Mrs. Scott smiled, welcoming me in the library.
She's the librarian; she's like my grandma here because of how she takes care of me. I smile back at her, nodding.
"Yeah, Clyde made a scene again. Anyways, I've got to work on the Music & Arts event, excuse me." I bowed.
She nods, patting my head; I walk to my place, working on the report.
A few hours pass, and it was lunchtime; I sigh, closing my laptop; I walk out of the library after leaving my laptop close and, of course, leaving it to Mrs. Scott for safekeeping.
"I thought you're not having lunch," Clyde sighed, preparing my bento on the desk.
I tsked at him.
"I can't stop you nagging at me so for you to shut your mouth, I'll eat." I smiled and began to eat.
He chuckles and eats with me. While eating, he was signing some papers making me frown at it.
"What is it?" I ask, eating my sandwich.
"Papers?" He responds bluntly.
"I know it papers!! I'm not stupid," I huff at him.
He chuckled, patting my head; the door opened, revealing a student from the Junior building.
"Ms. Fierce!" She exclaims, panting.
I stood up, patting her back giving her some water. Her heartbeat lowered down as she calmed.
"There, what's happening??" I ask her.
Instead of speaking, she showed me her phone; I frown at her, looking at it.
I squinted my eyes.
"What nonsense is this!?" I shouted.
She looked scared, putting her phone back in her pocket.
"I don't know Ms. Fierce, It's spreading fast." She worriedly answers.
Clyde and I looked at each other, hearing the rumor spread inside the classroom.
Oh, brother of squid!! How could they spread such nonsense!!
