The First Interview!

My alarm that I hadn't used in months went off for the first time in a while. I got ready for that interview, but I wasn't sure what I should wear. I went downstairs and Mr. Aizawa was waiting in the kitchen.

"Hey, you're going to need to wear your hero costume, this is your first official interview, so I want you to go in there knowing what to do." Mr. Aizawa told me.

"Okay, I'll go grab it!" I replied.

I went upstairs and grabbed my hero suit. I completely forgot it was trashed from yesterday! I used my Overdrive to quickly patch it up, and I put it on. Luckily it was only about 10:30, so we still had time to get to the news station. The drive there wasn't as scary as I first thought.

"You know what to expect, right?" Mr. Aizawa asked.

"Yeah, but I don't think they'll ask me to showcase any moves, though. I hope, anyway." I responded.

As we were nearing the news station, we noticed a large crowd of people were gathered outside.

"Oh, great. Looks like they've told the entire town about this." Mr. Aizawa sighed.

We pulled up to the front of the news station.

"You ready, Leonidus?" Mr. Aizawa questioned.

"I'm about as ready as I can be." I reassured him.

We stepped out of the car to large cheers and shouts. I didn't really know how to react, so I stood there for a brief second thinking about what to do.

I held my arm up, smiled, and waved at the people, "Hey everyone!"

We quickly walked inside of the news station, and there was Mr. Hadenstrom.

"Hey there you two! Pleasure to see you again!" He beamed.

I smiled and nodded. Mr. Aizawa didn't say anything. I shook Mr. Hadenstrom's hand and we walked into one of the many interview rooms the station had.

"So, this'll be a live interview, which we'll be starting here in just a couple moments." He explained.

Mr. Aizawa was standing outside of the news room and was looking in.

"Aaaand we're on in 3...2...1..." Hadenstrom began.

"GOOOOOOD Afternoon Japan! Today, we've got a special exclusive interview with U.A. High Student, Alyx Leonidus! So, your hero name, It's Leonidus right?" He continued.

"Yes sir, it is." I nodded.

"What's the inspiration behind it?" Hadenstrom asked.

"Well, I didn't want anything to flashy or too exuberant, so I just decided to go with something simple." I explained.

"Ah, I see! Next thing I'd like to ask you that everyone has on their mind, how did you defeat Black-Heart? It happened so quickly!" He moved on.

"Well, if I was going to be honest, the only thing I remember yelling was "Dora" at him for a little bit, then finishing him off. But, hey, at least he's not a threat to society anymore." I smiled.

Hadenstrom let out a slight chuckle before continuing on with his next question.

"Last year, you saved the now U.A. Student Creati from a giant thug, she happens to be in the same class as you. Now, rumor has it you two are U.A.'s power couple! Care to tell us more about it?" Hadenstrom wondered.

U.A.'s power couple? Who's been saying that I wonder?

I felt my face heat up a bit, "A-A rumor? You can call it that if you'd like. But Creati and I have really bonded since we first met, you know? I'm honestly really glad to have someone like her by my side, she's got fantastic leadership skills, combat techniques, she's just a fantastic person in general!"

"Aw, that's so sweet! Speaking of U.A., you're being taught by Eraser Head himself! How's that going for you, Leonidus?" He asked again.

I wonder how many more questions he'll ask me? I was kind of getting hungry.

"It's actually going pretty great. At first, I wasn't so sure about him at the start of the year, but now, he's taught us so many things. I wouldn't be doing this interview if he wasn't around, that's for sure!" I told him.

Hadenstrom nodded his head and smiled, "Okay, one last question, everyone and I mean EVERYONE is dying to know. Do you believe that the next generation of heroes can impact the villain society?"

That was actually a good question, could they?

"We'll just have to wait and see. All of us are looking forward to seeing what the future generation of heroes bring to the table." I smiled.

The interview was finally over, and the cameras cut, "Nice job kid! You did that like a pro!"

I exited the room and walked over to where Mr. Aizawa was sitting.

"Hey! I did it! It went pretty good." I told Mr. Aizawa.

"That's great to hear. Now, let's get out of here, I'm getting tired of this place." Mr. Aizawa slightly smiled.

Thankfully, the crowd was gone, and the ride home went smoothly. There weren't any sort of paparazzi chasing us. Isn't that what normally happens?

Once I got back to the dorms, the first person I heard was Kirishima, "Yo! You crushed that interview bro!"

Momo walked over to me and put her arms around my neck and hugged me.

"You did great, darling!" She beamed.

"She's being all mushy because of your interview." Kaminari chuckled.

I saw Jiro slap him with one of her earphone jacks.

"Shut it, will you?" Jiro fumed.

"Well, it's just that what you said in your interview was really nice, that's all." Momo blushed a bit.

I smiled at her, "Hey, I guess I'm a bit of a charmer, huh?"

"Speaking of charms, where's Tokoyami?" I asked.

I guess everyone was wondering the same thing, Tokoyami did say he was going to watch my interview with everyone else.

"Knowing him, he might be in his room doing rituals or something. Maybe he's out training with Dark Shadow?" Sero suggested.

Well, that's not too far out from the realm of possibility. But, Tokoyami doesn't normally train during the day. Why would he be out training with Dark Shadow?
