91. Anji

Paige didn't let go and just cried silently while still biting.

"It will hurt now." He said in a calming voice. 

Anji was cautious while disinfecting. Nevertheless, he heard her whimper while doing so. When he was finished, she wetted his collar with her hot tears.

He bandaged her gingerly, and although he was finished, he waited patiently for her to relax finally.

When Paige finally let go, he was bleeding, too. 

"Thank you..." She mumbled and leaned weakly against him. 

He looked at her face; she was really beautiful when she was not going around biting people. Anji touched her forehead, and she felt hot. He carried her to the bed and laid her down.

He left the room and told the guard on the door that he needed clothes, new bedding, some soup and water, and warm clothes for her.

The other only nodded and went to get them, Anji returned to Paige and stood by her bed, while she had closed her eyes.
