The eyeless guard paused and then nodded, showing the way to Juno's lounge. 

She sat on a big chair behind an opulent desk.

"Want to give me a few more toes ?" Juno asked while sorting out some documents.

Anji felt the girl in his arms flinch before she patted him to let her down.

When she was put on the floor, she knelt and said hoarsely,

"You can let me be here, but please..." Tears streamed down her face.

"Please tell him that I'm alright."

"Who?" Juno leaned her head on her hand.

"You can't be talking about the male lead, can you?" She chortled.

"What does he have to do with you? Haven't you already seduced the next one ?" Juno pointedly glanced at Anji, who frowned.

"I'm begging you, Juno." Paige had never done anything like this before, but thinking of Lance's haggard face and bloodshot eyes, she couldn't help it. He had to know at least that she was okay.
