The Beginning.

James was lonely, he had just come back from the hospital with his butler Philip. The Doctor had said that he would never walk again, and just like that, his dreams of regaining his mobility had gone down the drain. He began to wreck his already dilapidated room with the bare furniture he had. His anger fumed with every action, when he attempted to grab the flower vase beside him, he fell to the floor and began to weep. He wept for half an hour before he fell asleep.

"Master, it's time to eat", Philip said, as he knocked lightly on the door but no answer came, so he quietly left.

James dreamt of the past, he remembered his time with his parents before they died from a chronic disease when he was just 12. His parents were space explorers, they had found a way to mine ALICE – Advanced Liquid Integrated Crystallized Elements, the groundbreaking mineral of the century.

His father, Andrew Ribs and his Mother, Susanna Ribs, were the main explorers and researchers involved in the discovery, mining, and mass production of ALICE.  They rose to world fame and enjoyed wealth and fortune until 4 years later. The crew that discovered ALICE came down with a chronic illness since no cure existed, Mr and Mrs Ribs died a year later, along with all their crew members. Susanna Ribs was 2 weeks pregnant when she died, leaving these last words with him,

"James we love you, and we are so sorry to leave you this way, make sure you take care of yourself and always listen to Mr Philip. He will take good care of you, always remember, may the promise with you." Six years later, James got caught up in a car accident, claiming both his legs.

Having woken up from his dream drenched in sweat, James awoke to find himself on the floor. He quickly crawled towards his wheelchair and climbed back in. That was why he did not see the meteor falling on the outskirts of the city.

One hour after the meteor fell.

James went down to the kitchen to eat dinner, the food was cold since he slept off, and he couldn't bring himself to ask Philip to make a new one.

He rolled his wheelchair to the living room and switched on the TV, changing channels until a certain headline caught his attention.

A meteor falls on the outskirts of the city, shockingly no destruction occurred. This bizarre sight roused attention and people were flocking in their masses to get pictures of the meteor, while the AI security tried their best to keep people away from the scene. James got comfortable and ate while listening to the news, just then something shocking happened.

A petite woman with ebony hair was on-screen giving briefings on the breaking news. "Coming to you live from the scene, a meteor crash occurred at Bette city this evening, there have been no casualties and reports say that the government is doing their best to handle the situation as…"

Behind the reporter, the meteor began to shimmer, it opened up, and a naked woman walked out from the meteor.

The crowd were surprised by her appearance, even the reporters stopped talking, everywhere was silent. Just then, An AIP BOT (ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE POLICE) approached her,

"We welcome to Earth. For what purpose are you…"

The woman's hand turned into a sharp sword and struck the robot in half, then she began to speak,

"Warning, requesting passcode."

"Warning, requesting passcode, defence mode engaged."

"Killing all creature's insight."

She leapt into the air and lunged at the bots around her and began to decapitate them at an alarming speed.

Everyone became mesmerized at the sight of her, not moving until someone in the crowd yelled, "Runaway! We are all going to die."

The crowd came to their senses and began to run, but unfortunately for them, there would be no escape.

The Alien finished her slaughter a few moments later and began to go after the civilians. She ran towards them catching up in the blink of an eye, then she began to cut them down one after the other, starting with the ebony-haired reporter, and when she was done none remained. The bots had already sent distress signals across to the main tower, sending in drones and airborne rifles.

The alien avoided all incoming attacks without a problem, as if at a ballet recital, but the terror was only just beginning.

"Warning, threat level detected, high, re-routing main command system, switch from defence to combat mode, command execution successful. All power switch to combat mode, all weapons engaged."

With a swing of her hand, all drones fell from the sky as they were decimated in a single attack. She proceeded onwards with no interruption, destroying building after building along with whatever blocked her path. Then she picked clothes off the dead bodies and put them on her body before proceeding forward with her march.

James couldn't take his eyes off the screen, he began to wonder, "Was this the end of humanity." He was afraid, he couldn't believe what was happening, and began to shudder in fear. Then suddenly he felt a hand on his shoulder and looked up to see Mr Philip behind him. "It's OK master, we'll be safe here," Philip smiled with a bowl of hot soup in his hand.

"So then, why was he holding a gun?"
