Chapter 009: Movies

Eri and Enyu gobble down all the fried rice in thirty minutes, their stomaches full to the brim, all they could do was lay down in delight. "That was great and all but my stomache is so bloated that it might even pop" Enyu groans trying to make a funny remark but can't help being in pain.

Eri, sitting up, pats her stomache and makes a remark of her own. With her usual quiet voice, she says "Yeah, it looks like im pregnant" craddeling her arm around her tummy. Enyu looks up at her and responds "Would the baby be mines?" He says giving her a mischievous grin. Eri gets flustered by the remark and tries to say something, mumbling to herself.

Enyu laughs at her for a bit before he started coughing and falling back down in pain. "Ughhh, I can feel my stomache crawling up my throat." Eri turns on the TV to change to mood and get their minds off of the pain and relax to let their bodies digest all the food. Enyu has to bend his head back a bit, as the TV was right behind him.

Eri asked what Enyu would like to watch as he gets up and takes a seat beside her. "It's been awhile since i've watched anything, we could watch some movies your interested in." As Eri nods and scrolls to find a movie that she thinks Enyu might enjoy. She stumbles upon an iconic movie and ask if he's seen it. Enyu shakes his head, "Surprisingly, no, though i've heard a lot about it, so I know whats to come."

Eri gives him a smirk as she plays the movie, the two sit there enjoying the scenes of the two characters running around and being all cute, before tragedy hit. As the heroine lays on the ship's door, she watches her lover sink down to the deep ocean. At this point Enyu was burst into tears, throughout the whole movie, Eri was reading his Aura time to time. She's realized a lot about him, that he's a much more sweet and emotional person, though she already knew most of that.

His aura would turn yellow when he got happy at the scene where the protagonist held onto the heroine at the edge of the ship. Purple when he got scared and axious when the ship hit the iceberg. And eventually blue with saddness as he watches the current scene. Eri sat there in silence, just smiling to herself from the inside as she's enjoyed watching Enyu's reactions.

As the credit rolls Enyu's aura slowly returns ro eats normal calm greenish yellow, as he turns to Eri wiping the residue of tears in his eyes. "Wow, I really wasn't prepared for that" he says hiccuping and laughing. Eri nods "it's a great movie, i enjoyed it evertime i watched it, a lot more...this time...with you" as she gets quiter with each word looking down in emberrasment and twirling her thumbs.

"Agreed" Enyu replies, hearing her "I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much if i was alone" he gives Eri a soft smile, though she noticed his aura a bit pink and shakey around showing his nervousness. She returns his smile with her own.

"Why dont we watch..." Enyu says while picking up the remote and scrolling through the list of movies. "Aha, here we go, how about a scary movie" he says stopping at a with a terryfying monster on it. Eri's eyes light up as she is incredibly fond of scary, thriller, dark movies of that sort. As she nods her head in excitment, Enyu presses play, his hands a bit shakey.

Turns out, Enyu, out of all things, didn't have as much of a tolarance for scary movie as his aura was shaking in fear and it with spike everytime a jumpscare happened. Eri would occasionally ask if he wanted to watch something else, as he tells her its fine with a shakey voice. Who knew, a tough looking person could be so sweethearted and a childlike, though Eri enjoyed this side of him to.

As the movie ends, Eri see's Enyu being both shaken up and relieved as he's puts a hand on his heart and catches his breath. Though Enyu wasn't much of a screamer, he would fling his arm around frantically covering his face at the scarier parts of the movie and would jump at every scare. Eri laughed to herself everytime that would happen.

Enyu's auta begins to return from purple back to his normal colors though his aura was still spikey from the adrenline. Eri stood up and went to grab some water and a bag of marshemellow bears, as she hands the water to Enyu and sits back down. Enyu carefully grabs the water and thanks her as he drinks it up.

As they move through the list of movies again, Enyu got excited when he noticed one of the movies. As Eri clicks on the movie, she notices that it's one of her favorite childhood movies to. They both had a fond memories of watching this fairytale movie, though, Eri use to watch it with her parents, Enyu would read it with his mother time to time.

As they watch the movie in enjoyment and happiness, the room lit up at the scene where the kitchen and dining items start to sing and dance for the protagonist. Eri and Enyu both stood up excitment with joy in the eyes as they sang along to lyrics together in synchronization. At the end of the song, they would fall back onto the ground from exhaustion but laughing and smiling at each other from the special moment they just had

The two of them gave off similar reactions everytime a scene happens, as they got upset at the antagonist boo'd him. They both cheered and yelled in joy and happiness as they watched the protagonist kiss the beast ans he turns back into a human.

The movie ends as the two of them talk about the scenes and everything they loved about it, smiling and laughing, it was a warm and lovley moment. Eri and Enyu enjoyed each others company a whole bunch, and in their minds, and much more in their hearts something started to grow, something very special, and very, very, fragile.
