Chapter 010: Walking

The two of them settle down as they finish up their talk about movies. Enyu looks at his phone to check the time an noticed that it was already twelve in the afternoon. "Time sure flies when your having fun" Enyu says while putting down his phone.

Eri replies with a nod, smiling. In her mind, she wished it could slow down a bit, so she could spend more time with Enyu. They both agreed that it was probably time to get up and do something, they've already spent half their day watching movies.

Eri stood up and turned around, remembering that they still need to get the couch back inside. Though Enyu was already a step ahead of her as he makes his way to the garage. Eri follows behind him to lend him a hand, as they go to the back of the car and lifted the couch out the trunk.

They carried it back inside the couch inside the house, but along the way they were carrying it, Enyu notices one of the tires flatten. He groans assuming that it probably popped from all the weight the couch was putting on it. "Looks like we won't be driving anywhere for awhile" he says with a disapointed face as they set down the couch to its rightful spot.

Eri falls flat on her back, onto the couch as she makes a reccomandation to Enyu, "then, what about walking around the neighborhood" she says as she tilts her head back to look up at Enyu. As their eye makes contact, Eri got a bit flustered seeing how close their faces are, as Enyu backs away and sits on the floor in front of the couch.

"That actually sounds fun and calming, sure, let's do it" He says closing his eyes and laying his head on the couch. Eri stares at the top of his head, quietly and sneakily, she moves her hand across his messy, fluffy hair. Eri enjoys the feeling of Enyu's hair, as Enyu continues to close his eyes and let Eri have her fun.

Once Eri stopped after realizing how long she was she was playing with his hair. She got up and asked if they wanted to go walk around know, coughing as she tries to hide her emberrsment. Enyu grins giving a soft chuckle, "Alright, let's get going then." He gets up and the two of them walk out the house, locking the door behind them.

Even though Eri has already been living in this house for most of her life, it felt like a new sight walking around the neighborhood. She never really did go walk around and talk ti people outside. To keep her body fit and healthy, she would do yoga in the living room or on the porch in the backyard. So walking around with Enyu felt like the two of them were seeing something new and special together.

As they walk further down the neighborhood, they ended up going down town, as it wasn't very far from Eri's house. They walked around, the place was packed with people walking around to, though it be to eat out, shop, or just hang out with friends, there was a widespread of emotions.

Usually it wouldn't be this packed but it seems that a festival will be happening tommorow and people came to check on the progress. Eri felt a bit sick as all the aura's around her and feelings she felt made her a bit nauseated. Enyu notice her face getting red and her body wobbling a bit as he holds on the her to keep her balance.

"Let's go sit somewhere real quick and take a break" as Enyu guided Eri to a bench in front of a fountain. As the watched the water squirt out in a rhythmic and soothing pattern, it was able to help ease Eri's head a bit. Enyu pulled out a cold bottle of water out from his bag for Eri to drink. She thanks him as she takes a gulp.

"You get sick a lot when there's a lot of people, i've noticed" he says while checking Eri's forhead, it was a bit warm but nothing to severe. "Is it a extreme case of social axiety...or something?" Enyu says taking out some tabs out of his bag.

He tells Eri to take some since it would help her stomache calm down. Enyu reassured her that it's safe and isn't any special perscription or anything and is free for anyone to take. Though Eri wasn't worried Enyu pulling any shceme as she fully trust him and could read his aura. She puts a tab in her mouth and swollowed it down with water.

Eri starts thinking about how to respond to Enyu's question, should she, tell him about her ability to see others aura. The thought makes her worried as it might make him uncomfortable knowing she can know his emotions no matter what. Enyu might find her weird, though she knows Enyu wouldn't think that way, the slight worry prevents her from saying anything.

The two of them sat there quietly as they watched people pass by, kids playing around the fountain, people carrying and eating foods, friends hanging out and talking, and even an eldery couple holding hands. Eri never seen so many interactions before, and it made her feel lonley inside.

She thinks about all the times and friends she could've made during childhood, though she had no one but herself to blame that. Eri couldn't find anyone to trust except her close family and one single friend she made long ago. Her abilities to read other's aura faultered her mindset and caused her to shut herself away from people in the past.

Though now, after so long, she has the courage and right mindset to be a more social person. She already made a image of herself that others see her as, the bullying she recives time to time at school, and the recent incident of the girl taking her picture. It all made her want to cry and shrivle up to a speck of nothing.

"Wow, that looks delicous" Enyu says his mouth drooling as he stares at the carmel apple someone was carrying around. "C'mon Eri, let's go find where they got those and try some" as he gets and a grabs her hand. What was she thinking about again as she smiles at Enyu and gets up from her seat.

Yes, though things will be difficult at times, Eri knows she has an amazing friend by her side to help her out, have fun, and overshadow all the negitive times with his overwhelmingly warm and comfortable aura.
