A few years passed as she lived everyday in desperation. Tired, hungry, bitter, and on the verge of collapse, she was saved by a young boy when things took a turn for the worse. Roommate [Part 2]

"Are you sure that you're feeling fine?" Andrea asked with a worried face. Although her son tried his best to hide it, Andrea noticed Ciel's lethargic state. Every year after his birthday, he would be like this for a day or two. However, this year was the first time that Ciel had fainted and remained unconscious for three days!

"Mother, I'm fine," Ciel answered with a smile. He knew that saying these things to her would not lessen her worry. The most he could do was give his mother some kind of reassurance so she wouldn't stress herself out.

"I promise that I will not go anywhere and just rest here in the dormitory," Ciel compromised. "I will also eat on time and take good care of my health."

Andrea sighed and reluctantly nodded her head. She gave Ciel a hug and kissed his cheeks three times before leaving the dormitory. Ciel watched his mother go with a sad smile. He hated seeing his mother worry about him.
