Knowing You More...

Anna picks up Stacy in her arms and starts feeding her with her meals which Lara has packed for her. Xian sits on the opposite side of the dinning table and silently watch both of them. He was picturing Anna with his kid in future and giggles softly while imagining the scene. He picks his phone and clicks couple of photos of Anna feeding Stacy while making all childish faces to the her. This is the first time Xian was seeing Anna's this side. Anna turns towards Xian making him off his camera and jump on his seat to hide what he was doing. Anna lifts his face to question him about his sudden jump and he just smiles back signalling her with her hand about nothing. Anna smiles back at him and turns towards Stacey.

"You like Barbie a lot right, aunt Anna will give you a new big Barbie. But for that our little princess should complete her yummy snacks" Anna speaks in kiddish language making Xian to laugh to death.

She turns to him making an angry face "Can you please stop laughing, you have to feed the kids in the ways possible. If you are so good at it then try by your own. You will come to know the struggle when you have yours"

"I would love to feed our kids" Xian replies instantly making Anna to freeze for a moment.

"What did you say" Anna turns back to Xian to clarify with him again about his words earlier.

"No nothing, I was just saying I will wait for that day" Xian twist his words after realizing Anna's mood change to which Anna rolls her eyes and switch back to Stacy.

After feeding Stacy, she asks Xian to clean up the dinning table and wash Stacy's box while she picks the kid and walks towards the sink to clean her face and hands.

Stacy was full and starts rubbing her eyes. "I think she is sleepy, let me hold her and make her sleep" Xian takes her in his arms before Anna could speak up.

"You need to make her burp, don't let her sleep else she will vomit"

"What?" Xian screams in shock "How am I suppose to make her burp, do kids burp?" Xian makes an innocent face while staring at Stacy who just laughs at Xian.

"Give her back to me, let me show you" Anna takes her back and starts rubbing and patting her back slowly to help her burp and after some pats she finally release a small burp "Good girl, now it's your nap time. Come let's change your diaper and get you to the bed" Anna starts walking in her room throwing Stacy's bag at Xian to carry it and follow her towards the room.

"When did you learn all these" Xian stands at the edge of the bed watching Anna cleaning Stacy's little bum and then wrapping the new diaper around it nicely.

"Watch her for a minute, let me throw this in the dustbin and come back" Anna picks up the waste tissues and used diaper and walks towards outside of the room. She comes back after throwing the stuff and washing her hands back to the room. "Now let's make you sleep" Anna jumps on the bed and places Stacy in the middle of the bed before lying next to her. Stacy turns towards her the moment she hears similar music coming from Anna's side. Anna starts singing Stacy's favorite song while patting her slowly on her forehead. It was only few minutes when Stacy dozes off to sleep. Xian was standing at the bed edge the whole time staring at Anna and Stacy. Anna gets up from the bed after hearing soft snoring from Stacy's side. She placed all the pillows surrounding Stacy to make her safe from falling off the bed. Anna closes the window shields to darken the room for Stacy and walks out holding Xian's hand.

"Let her sleep for sometime" Anna whispers to him while walking out and closing the door behind.

"Are you tired, I can make up the other room for you" Anna questions Xian to which he nods negative.

"I am fine, but if you feel tired then carry on. I can help in watching Stacy" Xian replied back.

"By the way, you haven't answered me yet?" Xian continues.

"Answer for what?" Anna replies while wrapping her hair in a messy bun and arranging her top which got messed up while lifting and shifting Stacy.

"When did you learn all these?" Xian questions her again while gesturing the same with his hands.

"Learn what?" Anna replies in the same tone as Xian and repeating the same action as his with her hands.

"All this, how to take care of the kid. It looks like you have been a nanny for a longer time" Xian blabbers out his thought in one go making Anna giggle.

"What's so funny?" Xian questions her again.

"No nothing, Actually Susan use to do all this for Stacy and I have learned from her. We have Stacy with us most of the times and have seen her from the time she was born so knows all the things she likes and how to handle her in worst cases. Susan is far better than me. You should see her, she gives tough competition to Lara as well when it comes to taking care of Stacy" Anna laughs while remembering the memories.

"Sure, she must have done better but to me you have done an awesome job. I have never seen you like this. I actually make me fall more for you" Xian speaks in low husky voice while closing the gap between them and making Anna take the steps back until she finds her back hit the wall and stares Xian for his next move.

Xian places both his hands on each side of her shoulder blocking her way to run and leans his head forwards closing the gap between their lips. Anna could sense his breath and closes her eyes thinking he is about to kiss her but Xian stares at her while smiling.
