Getting To Know You More...

Xian stops further communication after sensing Anna's discomfort tone and eats his food in silence. After finishing he gets up holding the cutlery but Anna stops him and takes it away from his hand and starts walking towards the sink. She puts on her apron and starts washing the dishes.

"You can go and rest in the bedroom, will come in sometime to check your temperature" Anna speaks up still facing her back at Xian.

Xian follows her instructions quietly and walks to her bedroom. He sits at the edge of the bed and starts thinking about the next plan to be placed in picture but gets interrupted by his phone vibration. He leans over and picks up his phone.

"Hello Sir, I have received the complete video clip from your cabin which has the full details of the conversation between your grandpa and Anna. I have already emailed you the same" Ciao hangs up the call after providing the information to Xian and he on other hand starts playing the video on phone as informed.

Anna completes the work and places herself on sofa in the hall before plugging her headphones to play music. She lays her head on the sofa and soon swift off in an open dream. The dream of the night when she and Xian came closer. Anna closes her eyes and starts speaking to herself in her mind.

"It was love at first sight for me when I first saw you on the streets in the dashing outfit though I never believed in this first sight bullshit but could make out what people mean by that when my eyes landed on you, although was a bit disappointed to see a kid around you and got angry with the fact that you have abandoned him but soon after realizing my mistake I was back on the track to like you. The next day when I saw you in the office as my boss, have almost cursed and prayed God at the same time. Cursed because I never wanted to meet you like this after the confusion the other day and prayed because was happy to finally meet you again. I know I was going insane, I am not sure if you have noticed but was trying everything to get a glance of you in the meeting room and that same night when the colleague threw party for me. I was secretly praying to meet you in the party and they you were looking dashing in the formal attire. I thought of approaching you the very same day as this was the first time someone pleased my eyes so much. But everything got ruined because of the alcohol, I can't fully blame of the mistake that night but was more disappointed. No doubt, I was eyeing on you but that doesn't mean I can sleep with you without falling in love with you or knowing each other. I was drunk but you were in full sense, you should have stopped me Xian. That's the only thing which pinch me till now. I thought of giving you a chance but got scared of the fact which everyone says that guys only seek sex from a girl and once they are done will never come back. I wanted pure love and thus ready to wait for one. You took my virginity without my approval and I am scared to lose my heart now Xian."

"I am sorry but you have to earn it and show your sincerity" Anna speaks this line a bit louder and gets a quick response from Xian who was sitting beside her from very long time and was staring at her beautiful face.

"I will Anna, just let me know if you can allow me to try one" Xian speaks out after hearing Anna making her jump out of her day dreaming and roll down from the sofa.

She hits the ground making a thump sound and stands up rubbing her bum. "Ouch, you scared me Xian" Anna speaks up while catching a breath.

"And what were you saying, sorry couldn't catch that"

"Nothing, I was waiting for you in the bedroom to check on my temperature and decided to check on you as didn't hear anything from you back for a longer time. But saw you relaxing on the couch and thought of sitting beside you to give you some time"

"Opss... sorry I was just relaxing. Let me get the thermometer to check your temperature" She walks up to the drawer next to the TV set and gets the thermometer back to him. "Open your mouth and stay still for sometime" Anna places the thermometer in his mouth and kneels in front of him watching her wrist watch.

*Beep *Beep

"It's normal, you don't have temperature now. Are you feeling tired or have body pains?" Anna questioned him while washing the thermometer with water before packing it back.

"Body pains not much but do have sore throat. Any remedy for that?" Xian questions her back with a wink to tease.

Anna starts to reply back but halts after hearing door bell. "Who has come at this time". She walks up to the main door and peak throw the door hole before opening it.

"Hello Mrs. Smith, How are you today?" Anna hugs her while greeting Lara Smith. She has been their neighbor from a very long time. Mr Smith is a popular Lawyer and Mrs Smith is a famous Doctor. They got married after having an affair for almost 10 years and now have a three-year old beautiful daughter named Stacy. She often hangs out with Anna and Sasha in cases when Mr and Mrs Smith are out-of-town.

"Hello Anna, I am fine. What about you?" Lara returns her hug and smiles back.

"I am sorry to bother you on your off. I know Sasha is not in and she informed me that you are back. I have to rush to the hospital for an emergency and Ron is in Africa for a case. Stacy's caretaker has called off sick and I am left with no other option. Will you mind bearing her for few hours until I am back from hospital" Lara speaks in low requesting voice while making a puppy face.

"You know what Lara, you don't have to please me. I and Sasha love spending time with little one and there is nothing to bear her, she is just adorable to be with. You can take care of your patients and she is in safe arms. C'mon now give her bag to me and Stacy come dear let's go inside. Say bye to Mama." Anna grabs the bag from Lara's hand and holds Stacy little hand with other one while pushing the door with her bum to close.

She walks back in the hall with holding Stacy's hand and bag.

"Come sweety, sit beside uncle and let me get you some water" Anna makes Stacy sit next to Xian making him jump on her uncle comment.

"Who is uncle here" Xian replies back without leaving a seconds gap.

"Ofcourse you" Anna speaks while laughing leaving Stacy to stare at Xian and Anna one by one.

"What are you to her aunt?" Xian questions her.

"Ofcourse not. I am her sissy. Right Stacy?" Anna kneels before Stacy while questioning her to which she nods while smiling.

"Then how on earth am I uncle to her, kiddo call me Xian" Xian turns towards Stacy while touching her soft cheeks.

"Xi...Xi..." Stacy tries to pronounce his name but fails making Xian and Anna chuckle to her cuteness.

"Sweetheart just call me Xi. You know what, you are the first person to call me that after my mother" Xian picks her up in his arms and give a soft hug before placing her down on the sofa. Anna just stares at Xian and gets amazed at his gesture as she never saw his this side until now.

She silently clicks a picture of Xian holding Stacy in his arms and hides her phone before Xian could catch her while turning back to kitchen to fetch water for kiddo.
