Liu (Musk) is a man that is reinacanated from modern earth, in an era of primitive beasts and humans competing to reign supreme. Due to chance, he embarks on cultivation and manages to reach the limit of strength in his current world, being forced to flee due to sense of crisis he feels getting closer the longer he stays. On his escape journey in space, he is swept by void tide into another dimension. Where he finds himself a new purpose and opponents on his rise to claim opportunity for eternity. On the ship, Musk was currently sitting crosslegged on the gravity platform and left the navigation to the AI, but a huge boom occurred.
Boom!
Boom!
It repeated several times before it stopped and one could clearly see that the source was in Musk's body but the effect seemed to be affecting the outside, vibrations also followed on his body surface. On the gravity Platform, it was now changed from before indicating 100. In the period he spent on the ship, it seems that his improvement was not small.
All around his body, some kind of magnetic field was oscillating like rings crisscrossing each other forcing his body to levitate several centimeters from the gravity platform. Perhaps if he was on earth at this moment he could be capable of flight.
But Musk did not stand up at all, rather kept his body in the original position and kept practicing with some sweat flowing from all over his body.
He himself might have not realized what had happened and kept trying to deduce a way forward for the martial arts on the fourth level. It was not that he had failed to break through due to the world previously, maybe even lack of a proper way was an issue too.
With this in thought thus, his body kept floating until he seemed to have stood up, he did not realize he was in a floating position as he stepped back on the platform and walked to the edge taking a metallic rod made from some asteroid fragments, his weapon of choice. He did not use much power just the moves, swinging the stick over and over and then swinging it in angles, the speed was too fast.
In the end, he sighed, "It is still short!" He sighed and as he was moving to put the metal rod back, he realized he had just stepped in the air as though it was nothing. Looking at the front he saw a number that made him excited, it was showing 100x on the gravity platform monitor.
His expression was full of ecstasy, he knew that the more gravity he had his body adapt to the stronger it become, and this moment he saw something that made him excited. "After three hundred years I have achieved this result eventually."
He could feel that the speed at which his body was improving seemed faster. But there was more to that, as he realized that in the ten years, he set off that space was very lonely and had no activity considering he did not head in the direction that humans were exploring at all. In that way, he let the AI take over the pilot system and in the period of serious practice results can be obtained which is in itself exciting regardless of anything else.
But the downside was that he could only float a small distance from the ground. He did not have any understanding of this but was happy. He also seemed to have set another goal, but looking at the gravity platform he knew it was not achievable, and as he was contemplating his next move, the whole inside of the ship started to blink blue.
"Attention! .."
"Attention!.."
"Massive body identified in the path."
"Permission to change paths?"
Listening to the notifications from the AI, Musk was very much more willing to move closer to the huge body than change course, without even hesitation, he moved over to the control panel.
"Show me the object blocking our path." He issued an order as the Ship had already stopped moving completely. On the front glass, a huge continent-like body could is seen projected.
Over the years, Musk realized that deep space was more beyond human understanding than he initially thought. Everywhere there are some stars, and some even rival the sun from the planet he had left. These stars seemed to exist independently without any other celestial bodies close to them and he did not have any interest in getting close to them. Some stars seemed to have different characteristics and the most he has seen are either releasing coldness or heat. But all look like flames but the colors each are different and he has the ship keep a distance from such bodies when in sight to avoid trouble.
"So huge?" Over the years he had seen a lot of things but this continent was something unlike any other. Just standing there he could tell that this was bigger than the moon, he had stayed on for more than fifty years. In that case, this was not some kind of planet shaped like this since the edges obviously seem to be cracked.
The only thing that was missing was some moon and a star such as a sun close by and this would pass for a habitable earth2.0. This thought only passed through his mind for a short amount of time before pushing it aside. He had just moved around for a small period and it did not even compare with his lifespan so what area of the deep space had he covered?
This time he saw a huge massive content being projected on the glass screen, and his first reaction is obviously to go on it and carry out some exploration. Even if he is anxious it does not stop him from doing everything to head toward the massive piece of land. He can take some time on it or even try to locate any signs of civilization as every human would do. In the same way, he needs to be careful as the nearest star to this floating continent is very far.
The star was so far that he could barely see it and the fact that the huge continent was not covered in darkness was something he could never understand. The star after all seemed to appear like some dot in the distance.
In the same way, he could tell this continent was very cold and the star only probably was a source of light but not heat. But he assumed that his body should be capable of handling it and if not, he would have to put some unique clothing on going to carry out exploration. The real reason for taking risks is also to see if he can locate materials to use for reinforcing the ship. It has been traveling for more than three hundred years.
Even though it is made up of some asteroids some maintenance is not bad, and that goes for the gravity platform that can at most support his practice to another 30x. That in itself is even a stretch as he is not very sure it can reach that much. In that case, he would have to come up with another way and the only floating piece of land before him could have some hope of achieving this.
He sat there observing the piece of the continent for a while before actually deciding to go on and land on it. In the end, he had nothing of significance to do drifting in space all the time and the second thing was that the need for resources was there. In fact, the fact that he ventured into deep space in itself is taking a risk and everything he did after that would be less worrying.
Deep space is so silent that it is depressing and had it not been for the fact that he had the AI to take charge as he put his attention on cultivating it would have become a big issue. Anyone else that had not lived long enough like Musk would also have a mental breakdown from it. As he sat closer to the control panel he picked up some candy-like object and swallowed it making his stomach stop growling. In this period of time, he had almost consumed one bag that had this kind of stuff. He consumed them when he felt like eating which in itself happened rarely when he was cultivating.
Sitting there he could see the piece of land magnifying under his eyes and the place was indeed frozen all over the closer the ship got the more shocked he was as the place had large mountains towering and all were covered in snow. The place had no specific location he could see as more hospitable but the energy source of the ship was cable supporting it in such an environment without many issues. The only concern was on his part, whether he could move in the snow without any worries of being frozen to death.
If that were to happen to him, however, he would not be reconciled at all after all he left earth to be killed by some cold in space. In the end, the ship just went to the side of one of the huge mountains, present. He still also needed some landmarks and when he reached closer to the mountain he was glad the cold was far from affecting the operations of the ship.
