By the time a week has passed since I was reincarnated I finally found a sign of civilization.
A concrete road and bridge that goes over the river.
From there, I followed the road until I eventually came upon a few signs that let me know where I was.
Currently, I was a few hundred miles north of the border of Canada and the US, and the closest town to me...was also a few hundred miles away...
And it was a small town at that with little to no travelers...
Meaning, it will be quite a while until I see another face.
But it also means that I will be able to train and hone my skills and magic.
Plus, I also got to thinking.
If my origin is 'Demi-God' then that could only mean, that in this world the Gods are real.
And that big snake?
I could only think of calling it a monster, or beast.
Which got me more into thinking.
How could the snake have found me?
Then it clicked.
It tracked me down by my smell...
Which meant, there could be more out there tracking me.
And while I could stop and prevent this, I would need a challenge in order to truly grow in skill and strength.
So, I didn't cover up my smell or scent and started traveling south and while I was traveling south, I noticed that the snake seemed to give me 25 KP after killing it, making my KP count 55 as of now, which only convinced me more on not masking my scent.
But just to be careful, I found a spell from the Nature Domain that would help escape from anyone and anything that were to chase me if I could not handle them myself.
...
Time passed as I traveled slowly to the south, and I have been attacked by 4 more similar monsters to the massive snake.
They were all just larger variants of normal animals, such as Snakes, Wolves, and I have even been attacked by a bird the size of a car.
From these fights and my training, Cosmic Energy Manipulation and Cosmic Energy Constructs have gone up a level, giving me 10 KP for both levels.
I have also gotten a few new skills, such as Survival, Hunting, Bow Mastery, and Spear Mastery, giving me yet another 20 KP.
I have also been experimenting with my other usable domain of magic, death.
I would have also started experimenting with my Technology Domain, but want to wait until I gain a bit more strength to protect myself.
But from my experimentation with my magic domain of Death, I have learned a skill called Vampiric Drain and another skill called Necrotic Touch.
[Vampiric Drain(G) - With this spell from the Domain of Death the caster is able to absorb and drain the lifeforce of their foe from their body for themselves. Vampires are known to be able to use this themselves but usually, the extent they can use it is through sucking the blood and lifeforce of their victims with their fangs that allow the Vampires to become stronger with time]
[Necrotic Touch(G) - Through the Magic Domain of Death, the caster's hands are coated in magic that rapidly decays and is drained of their lifeforce]
[A/N: Remember that if a skill has only its name, then it's a G Ranked Skill, if its prefix is Minor then it's an F-Ranked Skill, and so on]
[A/N: Here's a list of the skill levels if you have forgotten: (G) Name of the Ability, (F) Minor, (E) Basic, (D) Intermediate, (C) Advanced, (B) Expert, (A) Master, and (S) Godly]

Looking at my status, I couldn't help but smile at my progress in these past couple of days.
Something I did notice in these past couple of days, however, was that the monsters started appearing more and more frequently.
For example, after walking for yet another hour, I was attacked yet again by another monster.
This time...it was a strange large humanoid with only a single eye.
A Cyclops.
It wore nothing but fur and wielded a large bone club.
An easy target I must say.
And a rather dumb one at that since even when I conjured over a dozen cosmic energy arrows, it did not attempt to dodge when they all flew towards it.
I watched as the arrows all pierced deep into the Cyclop's skin, and it didn't even flinch.
Clicking my tongue, I began dodging out of the way as it swung its club recklessly at me before flicking my wrist, and manipulating the shapes of the arrows that were in the Cyclops to become funnels that allowed the Cyclops blood to flow out without stopping.
As it started recklessly swinging its club at me again, I started using the very land around us to attack the Cyclops.
Starting with Grasping Root, a Nature Domain Spell that would use the roots of trees and plants to constrict and attack the foe, which in this case was the Cyclops.
Although I guess I really should say 'Ask' since I cannot command Nature to help me since Nature is all about a delicate balance.
Which is why I have been spending so much time helping nature when I can, so that when I need to ask for Nature's help, it would help me in return.
Plus, these monsters kind of disrupt the balance set by nature due to their mindless destruction and dangerous gluttony.
And I mean that seriously, I have found dozens of animal carcasses that were killed by the monsters and it appeared they mostly killed the animals for sport, not survival.
So, nature was more than willing to help me slay my monstrous foes.
Which is why it was so easy to kill the Cyclops.
It was dumb and reckless and I held an advantage over it due to being surrounded by nature and my use of long range attacks while also being able to keep my distance from it.
With it dead, I gained yet another 25 KP and continued my way south.
