The man narrowed his eyes. His pupils were locked on Eden while the latter held his gaze without blinking and without showing any sign of fear and, of course, that wasn't what he wanted. He had finally climbed up to the top of the Hunters' Society after the cowardly Fala returned from the battlefield in the Crescent territory. The one who used to be their number one and most feared man was acting like a completely different person. He was no longer the ruthless leader they knew, but a just a coward who trembled and jumped at the slightest noise.
The former Hunters number one had only returned to pack his things and catch a flight overseas saying that if he ever found him he was dead. He was mumbling those words again and again and no one knew who he was talking about but his successor didn't care. This was his chance to shine after waiting in the shadows for years. He was going to take it.
